    Used them to get into my SL55 a few years back, absolute steal of a deal. SL lease was coming due and they got me into the lowest priced RS e-tron GT in the country (I think). These guys know how to negotiate the best deals for their customers. Top notch service, the only broker I will ever use and recommend to friends.

    Used Andrew from Lux Concierge to get a Macan loaner lease for a great deal. My wife was recently rear ended on her way to work one morning,…read moreand being that her car was model year 2008 with 240k miles, our insurance ended up totaling it out after we got the estimate for repairs. So we started car shopping for a new (used - new to us) vehicle to be her daily driver & work commute vehicle. I did a lot of research, and we found a 2014 BMW x3 with low miles & in great condition at the CDJR used car dealer on Van Nuys Blvd. (Note, this is not the CDJR new car dealership that's a little farther north on Van Nuys Blvd. Part of the same family of dealers, but this review is for their used car lot a farther south on Van Nuys Blvd.) My wife and I showed up there at 7pm, after a day of driving to dealerships all over and test driving vehicles, and found the sales associates at this lot to be a breath of fresh air. We dealt directly with Moises, and he was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about the car we were there to see, and just overall seemed like a good guy. We text drove the BMW x3, liked it (my wife loved it), but we couldn't purchase at that moment because we were still waiting for the insurance payout on the totaled vehicle. We didn't want to lose the BMW to another buyer, so we put a $1,000 deposit down on my debit card, the following day.....although in retrospect we should have done it that same night, I just couldn't pull the trigger on the deposit, but after driving home, my wife and I talked about our positive experience at this dealer, and our really positive experience with Moises, and we decided that was the right vehicle (so I went back the next day & put the deposit down.) Ultimately we ended up not purchasing the vehicle because our insurance gave us an owner retained settlement offer a couple days later, and my wife and I decided to go with that option, so I returned to Keyes CDJR used cars, and had to ask for a refund of the deposit. I explained the situation to a manager, and he was extremely understanding & professional about the whole situation......the refund was issued, I got a receipt and I was in & out in about 30 minutes. A couple days later the refund showed up on my debit card, exactly as it should. Overall, it was an extremely positive used car buying experience (even though we didn't end up buying the car), and didn't have any of the weird salesman, sleazy tactics that most people associate with used car dealers. If & when the time comes that we're ready to buy a used car, this dealership will absolutely be our first stop! A+ to these guys, and their professional manners/etiquette!

    THE SERVICE HERE IS THE WORST…read more When you call about needing service, the associates mislead you or intentionally leave out details like how long anything will take. Probably because even just an evaluation of the car's problem will take multiple days and the repair itself will take weeks. They tell you NONE OF THIS upfront. The associates are also the opposite of helpful or warm. They all make you seem like an asshole for asking questions. You also get different answers depending on who you ask, on topics ranging from what's covered to what things cost. Maybe the place is just way too overwhelmed and needs more employees and space. But the last time I almost got work there, I was told it would they would need my family's minivan for at least a few days if not weeks to fix one middle row seat that wasn't locking into place. Fed up (and having lost the car to them for weeks before), I left before the evaluation and instead went to Olive Auto in Burbank. Fixed up in a matter of hours. Never again with this terrible operation.

Chevrolet Van Nuys is superior overall in comparison to the horrible experience in early 2025 that we received from Culver City Chevrolet. They said they had to fix our Malibu's sway bar, but it took several days because the part wasn't in & because the problem wasn't fixed. I still don't know why it wasn't covered in our extended warranty. It cost $3,000! Go to Van Nuys Chevrolet for your peace of mind.

The finance manager who handled it (Brandon) lied straight to my face when I asked if it could be used at ANY Chevy dealership. Late last year I needed a sensor replaced, and took it to my local dealership. They made me call back and forth between them and the service contract company for hours before agreeing to release the contract so I could have it serviced somewhere other than Van Nuys. I thought that was the end of it. Nope. Today I went back to my local dealership to get another sensor replaced, and wouldn't you know it? The contract needed to be released again by Van Nuys despite them saying they had permanently released it. I waited for FIVE hours for them, no release. My entire day wasted for something that should have taken half an hour. They lied to me when I purchased the car, they lied to me when I tried to deal with this contract bull last year, and they lied to me today when they said they couldn't release it permanently to my local dealership because they're greedy POSs. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone again, and I will make sure everyone I know learns about how shady they are. The only person who wasn't a liar was Filipe, the sales guy who I dealt with originally. I ended up going back to them to get my service contract cancelled and refunded.

    Recently got a K5 GT from Van nuys Kia. I have to say thank you to Farid, Jacob, Angel and finance…read moremanager Russell. Everyone took great care of me. I get that it's difficult going to a dealership nowadays but if i were to get another Kia, i would come right back here without question. I didn't like the dealer add ons but they did manage to get me the payments i wanted, the rate was way better than i got from chase. Angel was my sales guy. Very rare nowadays but he's authentic and i'm glad my appointment was with him. He took care of me and showed me the vehicle i wanted. We took a test drive and that was it, i knew i wanted her. He worked with the finance people and managed to get me my rate. Took care of the vehicle before i picked it up and showed me around the functions. Overall, look for Angel, he's a honest good guy. Farid is the manager that approached me while waiting and offered me a drink and was nice enough to chat with me while my paperwork was being written up. Congratulated me in the end and also said goodbye which i appreciated. Jacob, reached out to me on the phone in the morning concerning my appointment with Angel and i appreciated him for that. Made my appointment seemless. Finally Russell. Just all around great finance manager. Got my rate and then made it way lower while i was able to get additional packages. So that was really cool. I didn't want the packages but if the terms were the same but the rate and payment went down, then i'm all for it. Thank you for taking great care of me Russell. Hopefully i got his name right. Overall, it was a great experience, my only complaints are dealer add ons and i wish i got the exact car i wanted with the additional GT1 package but it was sold and i got the 2nd best. Also the music in the showroom doesnt help but aside from that. I'd come back.

    This service center is shady as hell. Another Kia dealer straight up told me to decline service…read morebecause this one was upselling me. I was trying to get an errand done and check car service off my list, but the service advisor here, Greg, repeatedly misrepresented prices and legal documents, turning this into a headache. Backing up, I made an appointment online the same day through their website. When I showed up it wasn't busy. They did an inspection and Greg tells me I need a $350 coolant flush, and that the tank is "full of water," which is strange since I just bought the car from Kia Santa Monica late last year-- all that servicing should have been done. I called Santa Monica to confirm their typical practice when it comes to coolant (Greg told me they'd only do tire rotations and a couple other things), and they flat out tell me he's trying to upsell me, and to turn down the service. My car is back with the technicians at this point, out of my view. I told Greg that if there really is a problem with the coolant, I'll take it to Santa Monica to address. He keeps pushing, then clearly tries to think of other things. He asked when my tires were rotated. I remind him that I just bought the car. Ultimately he rolls his eyes, gives in and asks if I want to move forward with just the oil change. Sure. He prints out an agreement for me to sign and it says it's going to cost $129.95 for an oil change. On *their* website, where I'd just booked this hours before, it was quoted as $89.95. I tell him and his response is that it must have been the Kia Santa Monica price, not Van Nuys. I say no, I booked it through your website. Today. Greg proceeds to tell me he will show me the price live on the website right now and goes to his computer, and I simultaneously go right back to the Kia Van Nuys website where I scheduled the service on my phone and repeat the same exact process I'd just done. He tries to show me where it says it's $129.95 at the same time I show him the quote right there on his dealership's website for $89.95. Mind you, this is not some outdated coupon or a buried page, it's the actual booking tool you use to make the appointment! After I show him, he says, "Oh, that's the old price. This is the new price." Uh huh. So now I'm over this. He says that if I want the oil change I have to pay the $129.95. I say no, I will take it elsewhere. Fine. But before he can give me my car back, he says I must sign the authorization of work, the quote, an agreement to pay, as well as contact consent. I decline, obviously. I'm not agreeing to any of these things. He says he needs it so he can close the service out, which makes no sense. I'm not agreeing to the service, I'm not agreeing to the price, and this is a contract. Why would I sign a contract I'm not agreeing to? He says he understands and is going to print out another form that says they performed no service that I can *also* sign, but I have to sign this one first. I still refuse, and eventually I write "Refused to sign" on each signature block to be totally clear that I am not agreeing. Later, they bring my car back. When Greg shows me the coolant reservoir, it's indeed filled with water, and apparently nothing else. He reminds me that my car will overheat with just water instead of coolant and destroy my engine. Notably, they took my car back before I signed any paperwork, and only showed me the water-filled tank after it had been in the back for some time. When I got a second opinion, I was told that it is highly unlikely my car, at 50k-ish miles, should need a full coolant flush at this stage, or that it would have gotten so low someone would have filled it with that much water. Also, it's a plug-in hybrid EV, and we drive it mostly on electric (it runs down the battery first before switching to gas powered). We charge it every night and drive it on full EV mode probably 90% of the time. Plus, in 8 months of driving with, the coolant temp light has never come on, which it ought to have if it was mostly water. The next day I took it to Santa Monica Kia, the last place to work on it when it was sold to me, and they say the coolant looks like water but it's not-- and that they are unfamiliar with it. They confirm that it's not a liquid they would have used, and they flush it for free out of an abundance of caution. I ask if they think VN Kia tampered with it and they just say, "I can't say but I can tell you we wouldn't have let you drive it away like this." Greg and the team at Van Nuys Kia are the first people to look inside this car since it was cleared by Santa Monica Kia initially. I'm not saying VN did this, but the person I got the second opinion from said someone could have easily drained the fluid from the reservoir and filled it with water in mere minutes if they wanted to upsell a customer. Cherry on top: Weeks later Van Nuys Kia sent me a notice that my warranty was expired. Total scam. And I never signed a communication consent!

I had already researched the car I wanted -- a 2016 Jeep Patriot -- and we completed the purchase on March 28, 2025. Just five days later, during a late-night medical emergency with my husband, the Jeep suddenly broke down while I was trying to drive him to the ER at UCLA. We were shaken, overwhelmed, and uncertain what would happen next. What could have been a nightmare became a story of rare integrity and genuine customer care. First thing the next morning, Michael had the Jeep towed from our home, fully diagnosed, and repaired -- at no cost to us.
