When you're seeking professional advice about treatments, you expect concrete, knowledgeable answers--not guesses. If something is uncertain, I would expect the provider to take the time to verify the information or explain the options properly. The receptionist was friendly when I was leaving, but the interaction afterward was also disappointing. Rather than asking how I felt about the consultation or whether I had any questions, she immediately tried to book me for an appointment. I explained that I wasn't ready to book. Instead of asking why or simply respecting my decision, she immediately assumed that the reason was financial and offered me a "Cherry" service/financial assistance plan. I understand that she was just doing her job and following the process she was instructed to follow, so I don't necessarily blame her personally. I believe this is more of a management issue. That assumption was both unnecessary and insulting. Not being ready to book a procedure does not mean someone cannot afford it. I came there for a consultation and expected to make a decision based on the quality of the information and recommendations I received--not based on assumptions about my finances or appearance. In their message, they stated that they were retaining my review as "documentation and evidence" and referenced "legal remedies" and "potential action relating to defamation" if they believed my statements were false and caused harm to their business. When you share your honest experience, this is the response you can receive. I stand by my review and the experience I described. Everything I wrote was based on my personal experience, my communications with the business, the payments I made, and the information I was given when I purchased the package. I also want to clarify something important: their response says they have no record of me arriving for an appointment and being unable to receive treatment. That is not what I wrote in my review. The reminder email didn't mention arriving early for additional paperwork. I arrived right on time--just a couple of minutes late because I couldn't find parking. The office is on the 10th floor of a downtown building, about a block from the Santa Clara courthouse. At that time of day, street parking was easy, and I believe they also have garage parking. You receive a code to unlock the front or back door via your phone, which was convenient. Once inside, I was asked to fill out more information on an iPad, which took about five minutes. My appointment was scheduled for 3:20 PM. Around 3:45 PM, I asked how much longer I would have to wait. Someone came in almost immediately to take me to a room, take pictures, and ask questions about my concerns. By 3:55 PM--35 minutes after my scheduled time--I asked again how long it would be. I was told they would check, but no one followed up. Ten minutes later, I picked up my bag and said I wasn't going to wait any longer. At that point, I was told Vera was still treating another patient and I'd need to wait another 10 minutes. That would have been 50 minutes past my appointment time, she was still with another patient!! I left without being seen or making another appointment.
