Loni is the best! I had an amazing time. I've never been to a high-end salon, before. It had been over a year since my last visit to SuperCuts. I was worried I might feel out of place, but that changed the second I walked into Luxelab. Everyone was super friendly. Loni made this first-time experience so easy and so much fun (I think we were the "loudest" station in the salon). I came in unprepared, not really having any idea what I wanted to do with my hair. She pulled up a lot of different pics of hair styles that might look good on me, and walked me through the pros and cons of each. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Ruined my hair! I am attaching pictures here(the picture i showed for reference of what i wanted and 2 other pictures are the shots of my ruined hair!!!!) I had my hair about 5 inches longer than my shoulders and I came in for the haircut to have it trimmed just slightly lower than my shoulders. I even showed a picture of what I want. In addition to chopping my hair down to my ears, the haircut is uneven all the way around. This guy should not have scissors in his hands. I had haircut with Michael. Absolutely horrible job. It is so bad I cried twice in the last two days since getting a haircut . They were apologetic and did not charge me for it as they could clearly see it is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I have few events to attend to including a wedding and I am just lost at words about the way my hair looks. A 5 year old would have done a better job. I was extremely disappointed in the Keratin straightening treatment I received there. I have used Brazilian Blowouts in the past but they are not offered in this salon. The effects lasted about 2 weeks on my long wavy, frizzy brown hair and the expensive products did not to lengthen the results and worsened my hair's texture. The staff is friendly and efficient enough, though. I did have a pricey haircut with a senior stylist too that wasn't exactly to my liking. I felt unheard and cheated by the pushy product sales. Several years ago, I was very happy here. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I've been to many stylists and had great experiences, but Alenea offers something unique and special in her services that keeps me coming back, and I'm here to stay! She is extremely knowledgeable and present with you in your vision for your hair. Never coming back here again! I've been a loyal customer to this salon for years. I've stayed even when the hairstylists I use have left. I went in for a full highlight and left with a partial and the color was not what I asked for. I made sure to mention several times that my hair turns red easily. My stylist was (overly) confident that she can color it perfectly. Guess what color my hair turned? RED!! I came back to talk to the stylist about it. Her ego seemed bruised and she wasn't willing to help. The fact that she could let me leave with a head of half highlighted hair after spending almost $1k for full highlights speaks volumes to the stylists that work here. I went back to speak with a manager and ask for a refund. She agreed that my hair was not a full highlight, not the right color, and was not like the photo I discussed with the stylist. She asked if someone on the team can fix it. I refused and said I don't want anymore damage done to my hair. She let me know that this stylist is managed by Orlando and that he would call me in a few days to discuss a solution. Nobody ever called! I overpaid for crappy work and they don't care about their clients! Save your money and go to another salon with fair prices. You aren't missing anything here! In response to the generic BS note from Orlando below, I did NOT receive a call or voicemail from anyone. I'll be happy to provide a call and voicemail log to prove that. read more

My hair was beginning to go grey, not at the root but a few strands at a time. Friends told me to try a single process gloss because my hair didn't need a full color. I went to see Anna a few times but my hair was turning a purple red when it started to fade, and I hated it. Anna told me as a brunette I could either choose fading to purple red or orange red, but there were no other options unless I did a full permanent solution. I've been going to someone else, far less convenient (location) and more expensive, but they mixed a customized non-permanent gloss for me that matched my hair perfectly and faded to my natural highlights! And I get an extra 2 weeks before I have to go for another application! I wrote this review because I was pissed that for several months I was led to believe there were no options for me as a brunette starting to go grey other than orange or purple red in a temporary gloss. read more

Coco (@cocohair) did an amazing job matching my desired hair to the photo we agreed was the most achievable. This involved a color correction from the section of root dye and was not an easy job, also because I have a huge amount of hair. I knew she was the one based on her Instagram portfolio. The service was not fast, nor cheap- but this is expected with a full head of long hair balayage with color correction. You must be patient and do not plan an exit time for a giant color job. Coco is a true color artist. Her specialty is natural tones. I have received so many compliments since getting this color from Coco, and one thing people say is that it totally matches me.
