I found Elite Window Tint on Yelp and contacted Jose to get a quote and evaluation. It was actually an easy selection process as Jose seemed very honest and with a fantastic attention to detail. He was also the only one in the area with the STEK PPF I wanted. Right after picking up my car, I dropped it off at Elite for a 10-day makeover. Jose and Jonathan did a masterful job of prepping the paint and windows. The PPF was installed (nearly) perfectly, and they have been very very responsive at fixing any of the minor glitches. The window tint looks amazing and really helps reduce the glare when driving. The ceramic coating beads off water like crazy. The pricing is definitely competitive. Not the lowest, not the highest. For my truck, Yosup recommended ceramic tint and walked me through several tint percentage options. He explained that adding 5% over the factory privacy glass would make the rear windows extremely dark and suggested that 15% would provide a better match to 5% on the front windows. I appreciated the honest advice and his willingness to share his expertise without any pressure. In the end, I decided to go with 5% all the way around because that was the look I wanted, and he was absolutely right. It is extremely dark, but exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was just as impressive as the quality of the work. Although my appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, Yosup accommodated my request to drop the truck off early in the morning so I could pick it up after work. He even finished the job ahead of schedule. Tint was good -- I would say what you would expect for the price. My bigger concern was with the ceramic coating. When I picked up my car, I noticed the same paint swirls and marks that were present before drop-off. When I followed up, I was told that paint correction is a separate service and was not included. I understand that distinction now, but at no point -- not during our Yelp messaging, not during drop-off, not during any part of the process -- was I informed that the ceramic coating would be applied over uncorrected paint. As someone who reasonably assumed that surface prep and paint correction went hand-in-hand with a $650 ceramic coating, I would have expected that to be communicated upfront. The in-person interaction at drop-off was also minimal. Very little information was exchanged about what the process would entail or what to expect, which made the surprise afterward even more frustrating. With all the amazing reviews, I thought my vehicle was going to get well taken care of. To make matters worse, I noticed new scratches on the rear plastic trim and in the foot wells that were not present before I dropped the car off. The shop did offer a $150 discount toward a future paint correction service, which I appreciate, but at that point I had already lost confidence in continuing. Ultimately, I paid $650 for a ceramic coating applied over paint that wasn't properly corrected, received no proactive communication about what was or wasn't included, and got my car back with new damage. The tint work was fine, and Eric was responsive over messaging. But the lack of transparency around the scope of work and the condition of the car at pickup make it hard for me to recommend this shop. And trust me, I never write reviews nor do I want to talk badly about a company. I was just really disappointed at the fact that my brand new car was not taken care of. Really unfortunate. Response to business owner: I stand by every point I made. I understand that paint correction may be a separate service in your offerings, but my concern is not about what was listed -- it's about what was never communicated. At no point during our messaging, at drop-off, or at any stage of the process (until day of pick-up) was I informed that the ceramic coating would be applied over uncorrected paint.
