Clearly, he turned it off and sold it to me. When I asked him how I should get it to pass smog, he offered for me to go to his mechanic. Great, I'm paying more money now for something that should have been fixed before I was sold the car. Also, the sensors in this car have never worked. When I mentioned this, I am asked "the car runs well doesn't it?" Sure. It drives. It's at a shop right now and later on today I'll see how much this car really cost me.. Update: Bought less than a year ago, five months as I bought in March. and they have turned the check engine light off and sent me to a smog check down the street knowing full well I'd have to pay for it to fail. He turned it off when I bought it to sell me a car that had transmission problems. Tried to tell me it was the GAS CAP LEAK when I bought it that turned the light on. LOL. The repairs on this car will cost me exactly how much I bought it for. BUYER BEWARE THIS DUDE IS A CROOK.
