I came during opening weekend, and they had a fun setup with prizes, complimentary food and drinks, giveaways, and 20% off services. I didn't catch a photo of the pricing, but overall, the rates were fair and reasonable for both the quality and the location. I went with a basic gel manicure and pedicure, and the visit took about a 1 - 1.5hrs. As a nice bonus, I also left with a complimentary tote and hand lotion. My daughter and I were in the area and decided to get her nails done in preparation for grad week. After a scary manicure at a different location a few days ago, we just wanted something simple and cute. The nail tech was so sweet to my daughter paying attention to the color of her dress, but also allowing her the freedom to choose a different French tip color (she didn't like the first color she picked). I can't recall nail techs name, but I remember it was Cindy but they called her something else since there are two Cindy's. The location offers complimentary beverages which is the best when getting a massage on the chair and a pedicure. When I go to a spa/nail salon I not only go for price and quality of work, but for the relaxing environment it provides me. Recently visited since I was within the area and needed a pedicure. The reviews looked promising so I decided to give it a try. I entered and didn't have an appointment. This place was busy with many getting their nails done--which was a good sign. They have plenty of menus around to pick a drink, but when asked--I was only offered water. Once seated in the pedicure chair, the person who helped me was fast. I wish the foot massage was a bit better, but then again I opted for one of the cheaper packages. When it for a Mother's Day special, Ken did an amazing job on my pedicure, I felt like my legs were jello because he had strong hands, I almost fell asleep while massaging my legs and feet. Mia did an excellent job, very gentle and paid attention on the needs whether to buffed out the nail on my husband's too. Donna, was very good on my manicure, she had strong hands great for giving arm and hand massages. Overall had an amazing experience here. Okay so I didn't realize this spot was under new ownership and so the current owner, John remodeled the whole place and made it a very nice and clean establishment. The vibe is exactly what you need to relax and unwind to get pampered. The pedicure menu has so many nice options with various price points, it's hard to choose! I haven't gotten a pedicure yet but I'll come back during Mother's Day! This nail spot is a well oiled business and makes sure their customers are well taken care of. If something happens to your nails within a week of your service, you can call the shop and ask for a repair as it is their policy for keeping good quality products in their shop. I see Helen for my manicures because she is meticulous with her work and can replicate any design inspiration I show her. I typically bring a Japanese, Korean, or Douyin inspired nail design. I always go for builder or tap gel mani on top of my natural nails, and Helen makes sure my nails are evenly shaped, thin (not thick from polish or tap gel application), and flushed with my nail bed and natural apex shape. I also keep my nails short, and not many people are meticulous or skilled enough to shape short natural nails because it's really easy to make short nails look bulky and thick. Helen, however, always kills it. I've also seen Liann and Hanna for gel pedicures, and they're both great! Staff's skill levels are consistent at Lola, which is rare because typically you'll only have 1-2 really talented nail technicians. The salon recently underwent a remodel, and it's beautiful. First off I had a great pedicure today, I got what I asked for, the $40 spa pedicure plus $5 to remove gel polish. It was great, gal listened to my needs, friendly, good massage, etc. It was 4-5 stars. Thank you Jenny. Secondly I got my nails filled, the length trimmed shorter and a gel polish. I'd been going to another place and it's outrageously expensive so I tried this place for nails. I'm disappointed and shocked, my finished nails look like press on nails. I don't even know what to say. The lady was very nice, gentle but my nails...and my cuticles were obviously gnarly and could have been trimmed. The tech told me she was finished, but there was still a significant amount of acrylic left on my nails (my previous set was white, so it was very obvious). When I asked her to remove it properly, she insisted it was my natural nail she would be filing -- which simply wasn't true. Instead of correcting it, she kept arguing with me, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I even took a picture to show that it was clearly acrylic, yet I still walked out with product left on my nails. Service like that is unacceptable, and I won't be returning. read more

The mancurist wasn't really great.Got a regular gel manicure and I have sensitive nails. I had dip on my nails and it didn't seem like she really knew how to take it off. The drill hurt /burned me multiple times and it was really messy how she top it off that and I still had polish on my hand by the time I left the shop. I'm in search of a new salon and figured I'd give Lola a try. I called in and was able to get an appointment right away. When I arrived, the salon was a lot bigger and opened that I expected. They have a large reception area with the different pedicure scents you can pick and nail polish colors mounted on the wall. The interior design is very nice. I was greeted by Cindy and she sat me down in a salon chair and began my pedicure. It was about an hour long service and Cindy really took her time and pampered me. My cuties were deep cleaned and nails were trimmed just how I like them. I requested she get my in-grown toe nail out and she did her best. During the massage portion, we made small talk and she was really sweet and I felt so relaxed. I then decided to get a full set as well. I've been dying to have the trendy pastel "swiggly" lines done so I said why not. They weren't too busy at the beginning of my manicure but towards the middle they had several walk ins and that's when I felt like Cindy was rushing a bit. The length and shape were perfect, but the paint was off. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and mentioned that it didn't have to look exactly like the picture, and that I wanted a different variety of designs. But, I ended up with the same look on each finger... there were also gaps in between colors where you could just see the nude polish. I wasn't very happy with that. My nails also started chipping in the 2nd day and I'm not really rough with my hands so that was a bummer. The prices at this salon are a bit higher compared to others in the area. My gel spa pedicure was $50 with gel...where as I typically pay $40 and my full set was $55 which I felt was a bit high because my design was simple. Due to the price difference compared to competitors and the chipping of my nails...I probably won't be back but maybe I'll give them another try down the road. read more

Got my nails done for the first time at this location, I suppose it is decent.. Yes it is very clean inside, however it feels cold and it took maybe 15 mins into the manicure for my tech to actually start talking to me. I felt like I was bothering them, even though I called ahead of time to make the appointment. My nails came out gorgeous - just how I asked, and I wasn't pressured to get any designs for an extra cost which was nice. However - one of my nails popped off, it's been about 10 days and I do type a lot. 4/5 stars. read more

I have been to Lola a few times. Not the greatest work but decent technique and my nails stayed on for 10 days before chipping or popping off. No nail art or anything fancy, I have yet to find that in Sacramento. Since I'm not from EG and just visit frequently, it was good enough. I would see Nick and he gave a good pedicure and basic manicure (what I went in for), hence the one star (also, Yelp won't let you go any lower). Otherwise, their communication is terrible. I called one hour before closing and asked if they could do a pedicure. "Yes yes please come. When can you be here?" was the response. I said 20 min. I get in the car and start to drive. As I'm around the corner, they call, I don't see it since I'm driving. I pull into the parking lot 2min late (traffic) and walk in. She proceeds to tell me they can't take me because I'm late. It was 3min past when I said I would be there. So, I went to a place a block over and had just as basic as a service. 3.5 stars- I walked in today for a pedicure and I got sat down immediately! Jenny is the one who took care of me and she was great, however, I did catch her trying to pull out an ingrown but she ended up cutting it off. Thankfully she didn't pull it off, because I am prone to getting infections from my ingrown. I got the "Spa Pedicure" (Scrub, Hot Stones, Paraffin Wax, Hot Towel) with gel polish which ended up being $48 total. I think $10 extra for gel is kind of expensive, I usually get a deluxe service elsewhere with gel for a little less and more "spa services". Besides that, the inside was very modern and clean, they are taking every precaution with covid, which I appreciate. And the workers seem very efficient with their customers. read more
