Came here for a pedicure. I was seated right away. I had the sweetest lady. Not sure what her name was. I picked the most expensive pedicure package of 75$ as I haven't gotten a pedicure in about 6 months I I deserved one. She truly took her time. Did not rush at all. I got asked if I wanted anything to drink twice. So the customer service and hospitality were amazing. The massage itself felt amazing. No complaints at all. None Can't speak for the manicure but I feel like it would also be a delightful experience. Just might be my new fav place! Will def be back. read more

It's been a while since I've been here and the salon is under new ownership (based on a Yelp review). I called for a pedicure appointment the morning of and I was able to get an appointment within the hour. When I came in, it wasn't Don or Kelly who greeted me, it was a different female staff. The salon looked the same but the menu has changed. There are more pedicure options and the prices were higher than Elk Grove salons. The prices were almost as high as the salons I go to in San Jose for gel pedicures. I chose the Elite Pedicure, $50, plus gel $10. Kimmy did my pedicure and she did a great job. She was meticulous and clean. The massage chairs were great and stone massage almost made me fall asleep. I'm not sure if the standard scrub option was lavender but I wasn't given the option to choose. The other customer next to me got to choose from lavender, jasmine and lemon. She chose jasmine and it smelled so good. I like that it wasn't loud in the salon, it was a peaceful setting. read more

Called in yesterday to see if they could fit me in for a fill and pedi before my baby shower tomorrow. I specifically asked for Kelly since she comes so highly recommended. They were able to accommodate me today and I'm so pleased with the outcome! Pedicure was relaxing and I love how my toes look. As for my fill... Kelly talked me out of it and I'm so glad! She recommended I remove the acrylics and go for a dip mani instead. I told her that I always wanted to try a dip and so we did. I showed her a picture from this Yelp page of an ombré nail that I loved and turns out it was her beautiful work! She's very detailed and doesn't rush, you could tell she's a pro at this. I couldn't be happier! She's also very personable - we talked about my pregnancy, my family, etc. It was a nice break from work! I've been going to this place pre covid, and decided to go back since they finally opened! Glad I did! A little taste of normalcy, and having my nail lady back was great. Covid precautions-they take your temp at the door and do a questionnaire with you prior to working with you. Don't forget to leave your mask on! Once you are cleared, they bring you to your designated station. For your pedicures, they have extra shields that block you and the worker. Same goes for getting manicures. I did see them wipe down areas after use. My go to lady is EVA. She is great! Whenever I wanted to try a new design or try a certain color--she knew how to do it. Very professional. I am in awe! Kelly is a beautiful savage... she changed my POV regarding dip powder. Prior to coming here, I had a bad experience with dip powder, so I stuck to UV gel manis. She encouraged me to try it once and i have been hooked ever since. She said "I'll take care of you!"It'll almost be a year since I have been going to her regularly for my dip powder mani's, and this is by far the best thing I have done for my natural nails. They have been able to grow with minimal to no chipping. There is no discoloration as well, like you see with some gel colors. They have a phenomenal selection of dip colors also. I wish I can give them an additional 5 stars for their service - they are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming. It is very apparent they have a lot of regulars. I was browsing for a manicure place because I needed to get my nails done on a really short notice. I normally have a usual but I like to try new places when I can. I've heard some mixed reviews about this place so I decided to try it out. Also, finding a nail salon that specializes in dip powder is a bit more difficult than I thought in the Elk Grove area. I called ahead and asked prior to showing up and they said they do dip powder so I scheduled a same day appointment. The space is very clean and well kept. There is an ATM located in the front by the counter/door. There's a sign on it that says the fee is $0.50 but also keep in mind that depending on your bank, they may also charge you for using an ATM on top of the ATM fee. The salon accepts all major credit/debit cards. If you would like to tip your manicurist, they would prefer cash. I didn't have cash so as an alternative, I paid with my card, walked to Smart & Final and got cash back after purchasing some groceries, walked back to Safety and gave my manicurist her tip in cash. My manicurist was Helen and she was very nice and did a fine job. The only thing that I was concerned with while she was working on my nails is that she would overfill my nails with the polish so the powder would get on my skin a bit. In the end, she would file my nails and clean up the sides and essentially clean up the dip that ended up on my skin. She did that as opposed to being more careful in not getting the polish on my skin and then the dip powder also getting on my skin. She wouldn't have had to go back and do extra work to clean each nail around the sides. This might just be a personal matter for me because I look at my nails a lot but other than that, she did a fine job. read more

I tried one other place that is a stones throw from my house but wasn't thrilled with the cleanliness of the salon. I finally found a salon where they truly strive to do good work and do a pedicure that the customers can really enjoy as well as leaving them with good work and a great polish. In my vast experience with nail shops, it seems that few care at all about whether your personal experience is a good one and instead rush you through with little thought. Decided to do a walk-in since the salon has 4.5 stars. I got a mani and Spa pedi as I'm getting my pedicure. I kindly asked Sophia who's doing my toes to cut my toenails the shortest she can. She began to start filing them down and looked at me to ask if it was good. I said, I asked for short toenails. Just from this interaction, I understood she didn't understand English. I had to get the toenail clipper to cut them myself to show her. I have never had such a horrible experience. The Spa massage was horrible she barely touched my leg. I would think twice before coming here or making sure the person actually understands what you are asking for. I would give no stars for this place. Also, the towels were disgusting and looked dirty. I got something sticky stuck to my arm when I put it on the towel. Super unsanitary and disgusting. I asked what's on there and the lady didn't change the towel out when I told her something got on my arm. They did my mani and pedi at the same thing. The lady doing my manicure made me hold my arm up for about 20 minutes. Instead of coming to the other side to do my right hand. I guess her feeling more comfortable was better than a customer feeling comfortable. I didn't know I was getting an arm workout too. Now I need to even out my other arm. I sat for about an hour and the chair was so uncomfortable that my butt hurt ag. Last thing, the smell in the salon smells horrible and giving me a headache. Overall, won't be coming back and I don't feel bad about it. The service was horrible in my opinion and just wanted to help someone else out who thought about coming here. read more

Clean place with friendly service. They did a great job on my gel mani and pedi and were able to do both at the same time. Prices are reasonable: $35 gel mani and $45 gel pedi. They have awesome massage chairs and they were also able to accommodate me as a walk in. I will be back! read more
