Although my mom warned me not to go here, I gave Dr. Luz the benefit of the doubt. Sadly, it disappointed every time. From the first visit, waited over an hour, and the dental hygienist did not know how to use the X-ray and was very rough. I ended up having cavities, so I scheduled an appointment. I waited in the dental chair for over two hours come, although the person who scheduled my appointment, said the appointment would only take an hour. The person who schedules appointments, called me and text me to apologize and assured that my next appointment I would be the first person because they claimed I waited two hours because of previous patients. However, another person called shortly after & advised me to show up to my appointment 30 minutes late, because the dentist, Dr Luzminda, is always late. Due to that advice I showed up only 15 minutes late. And an hour later Dr. Luz still was not there. In addition, when I told the receptionist, I know it's not your fault, but the doctor always being late is not professional. The receptionist was super rude and was like OK. Have a good day. So I left yet again because they promised me my appointment would only take an hour. I don't recommend this place at all and like the old saying girls, mom always knows best. I should've listened to my mom. LOL read more

I was a patient for years, because of the friendly service. Little did I know three broken crowns and root canals later. It was all the Dr's fault. My son went there too and just recently found after a root canal some leftover cotton strings we're left in his mouth. This is just so bad and unprofessional. So just letting others know. In the Delta Dental website says they are not accepting new patients, however as soon as I called I was greeted by a very welcoming voice of the receptionist, Mary Grace. I was scheduled the next day. As a nurse, i would say that this is the most hygienic dental clinic I have been to. They have top of the line equipment, xray chairs etc. The dental assistants, Mia and another lady I forgot to ask her name, all are wearing proper PPE, practicing hand hygiene every now and then. And finally I met the most wonderful dentist, Dr. Luzminda, gentle and very thorough and had all my dental assessment and needs attended. Another good find of DMD to keep for life. read more

I was waiting in the room by myself for a long, long time waiting for my dentist. I thought she was working with another patient the whole time, but she wasn't even in the building.. by the time she finally arrived I was about ready to leave after waiting for so long. An hour and a half later she sat down with me, and recommended I get a root canal right there on the spot.. and kept insisting. I held off on the root canal, but she did do a cleaning and a temporary filling for me. Both were extremely rushed and probably took less than 20 minutes combined. She didn't floss in between my temporary filling after shoving it in, so when I flossed once I got home, big pieces of it came out with the floss since she didn't floss it before it set. While she was working on my mouth, she told me that she was going to give me some business cards to pass out to my family and friends- it was clear to me that her focus was on money and not providing good service. I do not like the dentist but my family and I all get our dental work done with Dr. Corpuz. She and her staff are so friendly and accommodating. They are open late on Wednesdays but I've always been able to get appointments after I get off work at 3:30. Unlike like my last dentist who had to refer me to other places to get teeth pulled or other work done, Dr. Corpuz seems to do everything! read more

The most amazing thing about this place is NOBODY has reviewed it yet! If you are looking for absolutely a quality dentist, this is the place. Here is why: 1) Super friendly atmosphere and modern furniture, equipment, etc 2) the DENTIST (yes, the actual Dentist I repeat) does most of the work! When was the last time you went for a cleaning and the Dentist actually did your cleaning? I'll bet never. I was floored at how it works over here 2) Customer Service: In all the years I've lived in Sacramento, I have yet to find a place where the staff can make all the difference in being so helpful with knowing AND working with the insurance (I have DELTA which has scaled back on benefits over the years). Dr Corpuz and her staff are very sweet and friendly UNTIL... you need anything beyond the most basic service. Then they treat you like a leper and won't even talk to you. Last year, Dr Corpuz had assured me that she would fit me for dentures. I had to hire an attorney to appeal the Denti-Cal decision to reject my request, and they gave me six months to have them made. Then, after I had oral surgery to prepare for them, she decided she didn't want to do the fitting because there may have been some risk involved. She refused to see me or return my phone calls, and I missed the deadline. (Even when I was in her good graces, her staff rarely answered the phone and almost never returned my calls when I left voice mail messages.) I have found another dentist, but Dr Corpuz didn't even have the courtesy to make my records available after I spoke to her personally the day before and then left a voice mail on the office number. I paid someone to go to the office to pick them up, but when they arrived at 3 pm, no one was there, even though the sign said they close at 6. I called, but, as usual no answer. Now I'm going to have to pay for a new exam and x-rays, which will mean that I won't have enough left on my Denti-Cal for this year and will have to wait until next year to start the process again. All this because Dr Corpuz and her staff are inconsiderate and unprofessional. read more

I have mixed feeling about this place. Went in for the first time and it took FOREVER. They were trying to use a mini camera stick to take pictures of my teeth and the camera wouldn't work so I laid on the chair with my mouth open for twenty minutes while they kept trying to get a clear picture. After that was done and went up to the receptionist to schedule my next appointment, only to be handed a bill for $80 because my insurance will only cover that particular item once a year (a few months prior I had gone to a bad dentist). It would have been nice to know beforehand that I was going to be billed for it or they could have contacted the previous dentist to have those pictures sent over! Either way the staff was nice so I let that pass. Couldn't make it to my appointment and called to reschedule only to be place on hold for over 15 minutes so I just hung up. Have called the office to schedule an appointment several times now and they never pick up. Since I can't get a hold of them and the office doesn't have an orthodontist I found my own orthodontist whom have tried to call the office as well to have my x-rays sent over and even they can't get a hold of this office. read more
