This shop is a ripoff shop. I took my truck to Vinny for air conditioner repairs. He told me that I needed a compressor, receiver/drier, and expansion valve. This cost $1,400.00. My AC blew cold for 1 day. 2 more return visits, and Vinny couldn't get cold. I went to another shop. It turned out to be a $20.00 valve. The one that you put the Freon in through. I was a loyal customer for the whole time Vinny owned this business. the last straw was when they worked on my car and less than 5 months later it started leaking GAS. instead of talking to me with the respect I deserve and always gave him, he was disrespectable to me and to the mechanic that was available to help me when his shop was closed. We were referred here by our good friends when the clutch went out in January 2020. They did an excellent job at a reasonable rate. It didn't take longer than the afternoon to fix it. I just want to thank Vinny and Judy for taking such good care of us and resolving a very bad situation with Ted Weins and a Dodge dealership. After having an issue with Ted Weins not tightening the radiator cap on my 2015 Dodge Durango followed by a Dodge dealership telling me I was going to need to replace my motor due to Ted Weins incompetence , Vinny tested my truck to find out I really didn't need a motor replacement. They are very honest, knowledgeable and friendly. We are super grateful for their honesty. Our van broke down and O'rielly's diagnosed that the Catalytic Convertor and the Nox Sensor needed to be replaced. This would have cost us thousands of dollars. So we took it down to Vinnie and they were able to tell us what was the problem and have it fixed.The Catalytic Convertor didn't need to be changed at all. I was traveling through Vegas with my 2008 GMC diesel & pulling a trailer. I was up off Lee Canyon when I got. "Low oil pressure" warning. The last thing I wanted to do was have it towed to a dealer (cha Ching) and was referred to Vinny @ Reliance Auto Repair. They were amazing. He ran extensive diagnostics and found nothing wrong so they changed the oil (it was really black) and charged me just over $100. Highly recommend them. Took my truck to get fixed cranked but no start had it towed 3 times to that shop last time had it for 2 weeks told me he didn't have time to work on it he was short handed not my problem $2300 dollars later told me to take it to another shop then had my truck that did not start towed because of a bad review I would not recommend this business read more

My first initial visit to Reliance was from an app called Open Bay. I was very grateful for their honesty and they did a great job with my 120k tune up. It's hard to find a shop where customer service is key. Thank you Vinny and your amazing crew including Linda Today I damaged my hatchback and Reliance was the first thought that came to me. I drove clear across the other side of town, walked into the front office, spoke with Vinny's wife (Sorry GF I forgot your name) then Justin came in and I explained to him my dilemma, what I did and with no hesitation, he walked me out to my car, he was patient with me, took a look at my car and got Vinny. Vinny was confident that they could help me...30 minutes later, my car was fixed and they didn't charge me a thing! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! My Initial call was a Danzel in Distress in which Vinny was the Poor guy on the end of that call who handled it well. I was so upset with my Baby daughter in which I told her to NOT drive my car since she complained it ran hot the night before. She called me in a panic saying it had ran hot on her and my grandson. I was stuck at work with the other car. I called Vinny after looking on Yelp and reading the reviews he was my 2nd choice and a VERY pleased choice. Long story short, he gave me the number to his Tow guy, in which he was tied up for 2 hours, so I told my daughter to just try and make the car there , as Vinny was going to accommodate squeezing us in , she got one building in front on his business and the car died. So she called Vinny and he took care of it. Long story short.. He took the car in right away and called me within an 30 min and told me what was wrong with it, I cant tell you how I was told it was a PUMP when it fact it was NOT the Pump, so we were driving this NO STEERING PUMP car all week long for weeks waiting for a part to be ordered when it was NOT even that. It was a 50 dollar part Vinny got within the hour fixed my car, and called me within 2 hours and car was ready to go with Power Steering back to working, Air back to working and Car back to starting. This Man Is Super Fab and So was Justin he too was Super Fab. I was out there with a Repair bill of $178.00 and back on the Road with peace of mind, as this car is a Shared car with my daughter and I am a single mom, BOTH of us are Fudge women when it comes to cars, but I as the mom know a little more then she as the young lady. His honesty, quick wit, and pride in his work and OVER taking his clients is what brought me to his shop again today with another car for him to fix, and again next week for him to check back on that same car to get my car back in shape with a mechanic I can trust who is not taking me on a RIDE or BS journey of parts I DON'T need. I chose this location only because it use to be James West auto, so I gave them a try. Big mistake. They quadrupled the price for a simple repair and further tried to charge for a repair that I didn't authorize. Run for the hills!!! Do not use this repair service.
