One of the cheapest local movers by far I could find. But the low price tag didn't mean poor service, these guys were the complete opposite! Speedy yet all items were handled with care. We had two bed rooms and few other items, The entire process took only two hours. There was a three hour minimum but still couldn't beat the price. read more

When the movers got there, they were moving quickly, as they day went on the seem to get slower, hence the hourly charge. The head guy ask if could buy the 4 person crew lunch, which I didn't mind. Then when we went to get the 2nd load, he said sometimes customers give them tips, which I thought was totally in professional. Then after 12 hours of moving a 4 bedroom house, they didn't even put the beds together, they left the refrigerator in the middle of the kitchen, handles off and didn't even plug it in. I think they are a rip off, I regret my decision of hiring them, I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Today was moving day and most of us know what that means ~ lots of stress, very little rest. This move was more pleasant than others I've experienced thanks to Andy and Badri from LV Moving, Inc. They were punctual, polite, and efficient. Andy was very conscientious about making sure I was pleased with their work. I called to order today's move on short notice, yet they were able to accommodate me. The company lost a star simply because there are certain things they will not move ~ in my case it was potted plants, which can be quite heavy to move on your own. I DO LOVE this company. But since this is my second time and I learned from my first time to make sure I was all packed. I found that they milk the time. I literally had everything packed and with no furniture except a bed and a couch. I boxed everything. They started at 9am and didn't finish until after 1pmish I left them at 11am to go to work and my daughter stayed to assist. When I left there was nothing left but a few things in my room and my bed. So tell me why they didn't finish until almost 2pm for a 2bdrm apartment with no furniture. Very I'm dissapointed from my first experience which was way worse and I expected to pay what I paid but this second experience I paid the same exact amount for less work! UNBELIEVABLE! I'VE CAUGHT ON TO THE GAME! I will be asking for a refund on half of the hours that they charged me for. I feel like the first hour only one guy was doing what he could but slowly until the other guy came in to help him. Totally DISSAPOINTED! Please push them to work according to what they say. If not they will take advantage of the times. Feed them coffee or Red Bull! read more

I highly recommend going with this moving company! I called two days prior to my move and was able to schedule the exact time I wanted. They showed up right on time! Both movers were professional and friendly. They asked questions about how and where I wanted things moved. They were very careful with all of my furniture. They even wrapped my mattress and sofa! They did the job very quickly! We moved 10 miles (through LA traffic). The entire process was done in 3 hours! So amazing! Again they were really friendly and helpful. I take back everything from my previous review. 3rd time I used their service to move to San Diego, quoted me a price, which I agreed to, confirmed the price when they crew arrived, but after they unloaded my stuff at my new place, they told me there was an additional $120charge for some interstate charge! I told him to show me on the original paperwork that I signed with the agreed upon charges where it had the additional fees, but only would tell me that it was a requirement. I tried to call the office to get clarification on the extra charge, but no answer. I ended up paying the extra charge with the tip I was going to give the workers. I again called the office and no answer, left a message. Later in the afternoon, while unpacking, I discovered a broken lamp,and picture. Again called the office, left a message and sent a text.......NO RETURN PHONE CALLS. Shady, bad business. They are inexpensive for a reason, you get what you pay for. Too many moving companies out there, keep shopping! My girlfriend moved a few weeks after I did and used another company who said they had heard similar issues with LV Moving. read more

Ugh, these guy are the worst. Took them close to 12 hours to move our stuff then they ran out of room in the truck and wanted a three hour minimum fee to finish the move. Basically we spent 900 and will probably have to hire another company to actually get the last of our stuff moved. They also ran out of boxes and whined about having to reassemble a bed. Don't think it get much more basic than that. Super incompetent and unprofessional to say the least. read more

Johnny, Andy, and Charles were really nice guys, did everything efficiently. They had a difficult job moving up 3 flights of stairs, no elevator. My complaint is that they were not as careful as other movers I had hired in the past. They only wrapped a couple of our furniture pieces, and so they did cause some small damage to a couple of my dressers and my husband's desk (during transport). If you hire them, I would recommend asking them to wrap all items in blankets. read more

We made it incredibly difficult on the two men, started at my place, went to my roommate's, then our new place, and then my old roommate's place. They were so patient and efficient! I've done a lot of moving in the last couple of years and this was by far the best experience I've had with any moving company. Robert and Igor were awesome and so helpful. I had them drop off furniture at two different locations (West Hollywood and Marina Del Rey), one included 4 flights of stairs and they did it without any complaints. They got the entire job done faster than expected and I was able to proceed with the rest of my day without any stress. Also, they didn't try to overcharge me for materials etc., which has been a nightmare with other companies in the past. I'm not a big yelper but I needed to give credit where credit is due. read more

Really our review would be a MINUS 1 if that choice was available here. My friend used them Aug 26 to move about 3 miles. She had to pay for 5 hours and they disappeared for one hour. They broke several items and several boxes are still missing. Mr. Garcia, the head mover, was ready to leave the pick up address before they were done. My friend had to call him back to finish the job. I was present when they arrived at the delivery address, so I am a witness to these problems. Definitely we are disappointed and would not recommend anyone use them. .This company is being sued. read more

I got these guys to move me on in the beginning of June. At first everything seemed fine, but then I noticed guys were taking their time to move everything(doing it very slow), I had to help them otherwise i would have to pay for 10 hours on my 2 bedroom apartment with no boxes just some furniture. After move was done I realized there were bunch of additional fees, they charged me for everything(they have it written in a small print on a contract). So I paid almost twice what would I have paid through a different company that had higher price on estimate but with everything included. Anyways next day my old manager calls me and tells me moving people damaged the walls in the hallway and I am gonna have to pay for it. I called moving company told them situation and they basically told me its not their problem and I should deal with manager and that they are not responsible for outside of the apartment. I figured not to call in the first place because I knew the company is owned by Russians, I am Russian myself and I know how they deal with problems, I just figured thy might have some integrity to take responsibility for their work. So anyways they told me to sue the management. Anyways obviously I would not take them to court for $100 that management charged me for fixing the walls. So just be careful with this guys if something gets damaged its gonna be on you and forget about arguing or trying to make a deal with them. read more

I wouldn't use them. First, every time we talked on the phone, the price went UP. When I first talked with the guy, telling him we were moving from a four bedroom house, he should have automatically started with a family filling a 26" truck if they were renting a truck, and then worked up or down accordingly. Instead, based on how the rates changed, he started moving a 2 BR apartment. The rates more than doubled. But that's not all. The DELAYS and SCHEDULE CHANGES! We were supposed to be out of our home on a Saturday. The truck was supposed to be there by noon. They finally got there about 5pm. But it turns out the truck had some stuff in it that was supposed to be delivered to Seattle the next day and it was loaded at the back. So they had to unload all that, and reload it at the front. By the time they finally got loading our stuff, it was 7pm. We had been told 4 hours to load. Nope. They didn't finish until after 2am.... and they didn't finish!!!! They didn't have enough room in the truck for our stuff AND the stuff for Seattle! So they had to leave for the night, leaving stuff in our old garage. They didn't show up until like 2pm the next day, as they HAD to get their sleep and then deliver the stuff to Seattle. This was on the day we were no longer in possession of the house, and on the day we had even left the area for our new home state. THEN! We had been told 8-10 days in transit. But on moving day, we found that LV decided to just pack us in our own Penske truck and hit the road. They wanted to deliver in three days, but we didn't even take possession of the new home for four, and the fifth it was being cleaned. We had planned a family vacation out of the trip and were out several hundred dollars for nonrefundable fees. Fast forward. Unloading. The loading and unloading guys were nice enough. But imagine our dismay when we found 8 LARGE boxes clearly marked for upstairs, sitting the garage, conveniently hidden behind garage boxes. No. We won't use them again. Our stuff got here, all was fine, but they inconvenient as the dickens to work with. AND! At the end to find the unloading guys didn't finish their jobs? Nope. Never again. BTW, I have called and left 3 messages to not receive a return call. read more

Two weeks ago, my husband booked this company to come today at 9am. We called to check on them this morning wondering where they were, and they told us because there was a marathon going on, they wouldn't be coming until they evening or tomorrow. What kind of crap is that. Marathons are scheduled months in advance, why would you accept that date knowing that, and then have the bloody audacity to not call us ahead of time, let alone not call at all until we call YOU an hour after you were supposed to show up. My husband knew how pissed I was going to be, because we were moving my mother, who is getting old, has knee problems and stressed enough as it is, we took it into our own hands to help alleviate her physical and mental pain of the situation. He told them he would call back, and when I let him know my answer ("cancel, they're a F$@*ing joke") it took him TEN TIMES AND A TEXT MESSAGE to only get a answer one hour later. They also tried to put it on us that we were scheduled for Monday. We aren't stupid, we know how cancellation polices work and we have emails proving otherwise. We got another moving company who responded quickly, good attitude AND professional. Rather give our hard earned money to people who share the same sense of urgency as their customers do with more respect. Wish I could negative stars, wasting someone's TIME is worth more than any amount of money. read more
