These guys deserve every one of these five stars! Yana was helpful in the preparation process, and sent us all the details via email. They did ask to receive a video of everything heavy that will be put in the truck. I definitely recommend that you include every single item in the video, because even with the biggest truck that they had, we still had overflow. For reference, we are a family of four, with two little kids in a three bedroom / two bathroom house. The price point was pretty reasonable and they were flexible, given the fact that they are located in Los Angeles, and we wanted them to come up to the Bay Area to help us move down to the Los Angeles area. They called us the day before to confirm all the details. When we realized that the truck was over the weight limit, Yana quickly called us to give us a couple of options. We opted for another truck to meet the first truck, to distribute the weight. It was an extra cost, but reasonable, considering the issue at hand. These guys were efficient and quick. We apparently have a ton of stuff lol. They originally mentioned that it would take 3 to 4 hours to move everything into the truck, but in reality, it took approximately 5-6 hours. They were punctual and even got there five minutes before the agreed-upon time. I wasn't there when they brought in everything, but my husband said that they did an amazing job at putting the boxes where they were supposed to be, based on our labeled boxes. They reassembled everything, no problem. I called 5 to 6 moving companies, and we are happy that we decided to go with this company, given the communication, efficiency, and price point. Two dudes came out, I would say "Gentleman" is a stretch. One was sort of professional and the other, Aleks was annoyed and combative from moment one. The annoyances of moving that always come up made him so angry I found myself apologizing the whole time and him accepting the apology as if it was deeply warranted. Once we arrived at my new location, more of the same. There was a car parked in the side of the street and they couldn't hug the curb. Aleks (spelling probably wrong, but it wasn't American spelling)was furious again and was looking at me as if it was my fault. "Don't you deal with situations like this all the time?" I thought. We had a huge language barrier so it was difficult at times to communicate as I was trying to soothe the angry mover. They were fast and did a pretty good job packing and unpacking. The assembled my bed beautifully and it's appreciated. However they left ALL the plastic wrap they use in the move in the yard and left it. I didn't notice and it rained. So now I'm in a new house with a huge pile of wet plastic wrap I'm waiting to dry to move. Why didn't they just take 30 seconds and grab that? Also I left $150 tip to each and neither of them even acknowledged it. I thought that was a pretty good tip to move a one bedroom apartment. We had a fantastic experience using these guys. They were on time and showed up with three guys with the best attitude I could've asked for. They never once even remotely complained about anything even though we had to make two stops during our move. They even were kind enough to show us that they were stopping their timer when we bought them lunch so they could take a break to eat!! Our move was almost 10 hours so this was much appreciated. I'm updating my review to share how the matter was resolved. Eugene returned with our table fixed. My issue was never with Eugene and his crew - they were great and so was Yana who arranged the move. My only issue was with Jenny who did return my phone but only after my Yelp review (as she mentioned it on the phone). She said she's never had a complaint which is a surprise to me but the only reason I am updating it is to show the company did fix the problem. Would I use them again? We had these guys move us about a month ago. We had a 3 bedroom and good amount of furniture and boxes and other stuff. We had a lot packed already but had off shaped stuff and they were good about packing everything. They also gave us extra wardrobe boxes since we had tons of clothes. They showed up at 8 and finished up around 3pm. They had three guys and were efficient. All in we paid about $800 and I can say totally worth it. They disassembled and reassembled all the furniture. I will start by saying that the men that moved me were very courteous and fast. They didn't try to waste time by going slower or taking a long route. Originally they gave me a one hour arrival window, but I told them that I had a problem with that because I didn't want to hang around my storage unit for an hour just waiting for them to arrive. So the guy told me that he could give me a 30min window. I thought, that's awesome, Thanks. The movers still showed up 15min late/ outside of the window I was given. The other problem I had with my movers was that they didn't seem to be very careful with my stuff. I had to ask them to wrap and cover w/ pads my furniture, which are antiques, they didn't seem to plan on covering it. The other thing that I've never experienced with any other moving company that I've used is they kept handing me pieces that they said were coming off my furniture/things. Worst move ever!!!!! Destroyed multiple furniture items, a $1,200 treadmill and used a dirty truck to track dirt all over my house. Very lazy and slow movers. Manager never returns calls. You are better off just having your friends and family help you move. Don't know how they are in business. Movers arrived about 2 hours late. Moved my one bedroom apartment furniture and boxes to a house. I understand a scratch here or there but they completely shattered a standing lamp and scratched up the entire surface of an entry table. The cost exceeded the quote. We were told at most 5 hours. But 7 and a half ??? Regarding the damages, their policy reimburses minimally for damages. .60 cents per pound. I understand you take a risk when you hire movers but this was all around a horrible experience. Worst move ever!!!!! Most unprofessional moving company I have ever dealt with. I have this huge behemoth (Ie I can't budge it alone) elliptical & it's been bugging me ever since I got it that I had the guy who installed it did so diagonally rather than parallel to the wall. (Of course he put it exactly where I asked him to). I didn't hire the GM guys but a neighbor hired them to move in. And then I had a true epiphany. I needed help straightening out the stupid thing and the universe sent me Paul and his team from Gentlemen Movers. So I lurked at their truck until the "foreman" Paul became available. "When you're done with this move maybe you could help me with something?" I didn't dangle the $$ factor at that time -- my plan was to tip them nicely when they'd completed the adjustment. OK he said thru his mask (note all 3 movers were wearing masks. I unfortunately was not. Sorry guys!) 10 min later they were in my home. 15 min later it was done. THIS IS GOING TO BE LIFE ALTERING!! And 18 min later Paul adamantly refused my tip despite my pleas. So here's the thing: any move I, or anyone looking for great moving co, I'm going to STRONGLY recommend Gentlemen's Movers. Considering how helpful & lovely these guys were to someone not even on their schedule, not even moving, I can only infer how wonderfully they would handle a full move. We used Gentlemans moving for our move down the street from our one bedroom to two bedroom. The amount of time taken and the price was fair. We got two movers... although we should have gotten three per their advice. Apparently we had a ton of stuff to move for a one bedroom, but we just kind of went off of what the person over the phone suggested. We felt bad because they worked their asses off for 8 hours. They rolled with all the punches and got everything done. There was some minor damages, but they reimbursed us completely for the out of pocket expenses, no questions asked. We tipped each guy a hundred each and bought em lunch since they worked so long with no breaks. Highly recommend this company. read more

Great guys. Incredibly polite, very diligent and thorough in repacking items you thought might be good to go but they make sure your stuff arrives in the shape it left in. On time. If you are gonna spend the money to move: Feed your crew and plenty of drinks (water soda) Tip your crew don't be cheap. Aran and Alex helped us move and we were extremely happy with all that they did. I was amazed at how fast and efficient they were. They were complete gentlemen, especially since I recently hurt myself and could not do anything but point at things... lol. Since we are in between homes right now, we moved everything into a storage unit. Upon arriving at our storage unit, they began unloading the truck and got all of our stuff in our unit in a matter of 45 minutes.
