The man that did my sister's nails was very rude to her. She is a very kind person and was trying to be nice to him but he was so incredibly rude. He would get impatient at the tiniest things, she would ask him to fix her crooked nail or fix the paint he messed up, and he would start complaining and show attitude. Like, you messed up the paint? Fix it? She still kept trying to be nice to him and even tipped after I begged her not to. The total was 70$ for basic nails, and they look ok, but not worth that much. There's probably other people who are nice here but I am definitely not coming back. I even downloaded yelp just to write this review. While writing this she said she's sad because even after she asked him repeatedly to fix the paint, there's still some bumps and bubbles. I've been here twice. The first time was amazing and the second time was a little underwhelming, but I will try it again to hopefully prove the bad reviews wrong. I came in for a gel manicure. The manicure is $41 which is much more than the Denver area. I had a guy do them, and they were fantastic (I wish I had his name!). I've never had to wait and they have many people working. The space is pretty and clean! My first manicure lasted three weeks in water, yard work, etc. which makes it worth the money. He applied three color coats without asking. They also have a policy where if you chip in 10 days you can come back for free! I went in today to get my nails done and the best part was the front desk woman! Super nice and offered me water. My manicure was beyond rushed. When I get a manicure, I like to soak my hands for a minute to get my cuticles loose, but I just dipped them in. The woman never looked at me, spoke to me, and seemed irritated. Just pointed. I was getting more bothered that she would ask me to take my nails out of the gel machine before it was off. The service felt rushed and not customer service based, and they do not look as good as the first time. No "thank you" and not friendly. There were only two coats but the paint looks a bit lumpy and missing in areas. I think this place is pricey-but the first visit was worth it. I think when you pay a high price, customer service should match They also want you to tip in cash (and there are many signs reminding you-but who carries cash?). So you walk out the door with a $50 manicure. I want to really love it. I never had a manicure last three weeks! So this five star review is for that. Inconsistency is the key word here. I went with a friend to get a pedicure and it was amazing. The ladies that did the job were incredible, great massage, brought us mimosas and water. The chairs were great. I recommended it to my mom. My sister took her there on mother's day and they had a completely different experience. They were inattentive, did not give my mom a good massage, no offer of even water while they were there and did not explain how to use the chair. The separated my mom's toes after painting them with a paper towel. They left them sitting in the chair, said they would be back in 10 min and never came back - they had already paid so they just left. So going is a gamble. You could get a great service I got which would be a 5 or the "mother's day" special they gave my mom and sister which was a 1. Good luck read more

Usually not down in this area but visiting my parents for a bit and desperately needed my nails done (they were dipped and weeks grown out). LV had the best reviews in the area so I figured they would be good. The interior is beautiful but don't let it fool you. I truly felt that the people doing my nails had no idea what they were doing. I just do classic dip with white tip and didn't think that could get messed up so badly. Every nail's white tip is differently shaped and sized and completely uneven & the dip is lumpy. Looks so sloppy and messy and paid $75 for these....please please save your money and go anywhere but here!! read more

5 stars specifically for the guy that did my pedicure (not sure what his name was but he had a wrist to elbow brace on his left arm) he was so kind and did an amazing job. I had the longest day at work and didn't know that a pedicure could bring me back to life like that! The rest of the service was also great, they were so quick yet took the appropriate time, the place is BEAUTIFUL and sparkly clean. A huge variety of nail polish colors, I got gel holographic green nails and they're beautiful. Definitely my new go to salon in Fort Collins. I have been four times to this salon in a year, and each time someone new, I had one person bad mouth the previous person who did my nails. The first time the clear nail polish was thick on the sides. 2nd time, originally I thought the Pedicure was excellent, then I came down with an infection along the inside of my large right toe. I really think the girl cut into my cuticle. Which I read online you are not supposed to do. The third time I came down with an infection under one of my finger nails, near the tip of my finger. Twice I had the one of the build a nails tear off. When you have a pedicure and manicure, they do it all together, making you bend and twist, so they can work on your nails. Not really comfortable! You think oh with a different person, there will not be the same problem. I have decided never to use them again. If you are paying over a $100 for less than an hours work, you would expect the work to be done well. With two people working on you, one does not seem to speak English, your questions or statements are misinterpreted or ignored. read more

I would totally recommend going here! After trying out a few nail salons in Fort Collins, I think I found a place that does an actual good job. I usually get dip nails, and I think LV Nail Spa did a fantastic job with my nails. The interior of the place is cool and classy. It's very large with many different manicure and pedicure stations. Though it took me around 20-30 min before I was actually helped by a nail tech ( I was a walk in and had no plans for the rest of the day so this slight inconvenience was fine ) - I still had a good experience here. I like how they offer you drinks from water to mimosas. My nail technician, a young guy (I forget his name), was kind and gentle with my nails. Unlike other nail salons that don't do a good job at shaping to my liking, LV Nails did a great job at the almond like shape that I prefer. I feel like this place is perfect for a girls day out - get your mimosas!. It gave a luxurious vibe that I thought was unique compared to other nail salons that are usually small and not a. I should also mention that I think they have more of a wide variety of colors for dip polish compared to other nail salons. Sometimes I feel like I can't find the color I'm looking for, not this place - they had every color and shade you could imagine! I was impressed. HORRIBLE TREATMENT TOWARDS THE NAIL TECHNICIANS FROM FRONT DESK PEOPLE If I could give 1/2 a star I completely would. The two people working at the front of the store specifically the short man are completely disrespectful and dismissive towards the technicians and my experience as a customer- My technician had questions for them and they completely had a lack of empathy towards her while she was stressed out about a situation. I as a customer was watching the entire thing and seeing how they were treating my sweet lady of a technician. When I went to go check out I told them I had feedback to give regarding how they were handling the situation. I told them from a customers perspective it felt like they were dismissing her and not taking a minute to give her some clarity and empathy. The first thing that came out of the short man's mouth was "It is none of your business" and the other front lady's response was "I don't have a minute to give." Absolutely horrible behavior and response to your customer who is giving you feedback of what they were noticing. Be better, and be a good human being. Have more empathy towards others- you can give someone a minute to give them clarity. I will never step foot in this place again which sadly, however my nail technician was so amazing she did a wonderful job this review has nothing to do with her. read more

I have been going to LV for years and absolutely love it. However, today I decided to get something new and booked a 'full set with white tip' which is listed for $49 on the website. When I got there, my nail tech saw the photo inspiration I brought and confirmed that I was getting a full set with white tips. However, I was charged $74 ($59 for gel overlay + $10 for white tip + $5 shape) even though he only added four total tips (out of ten fingers) because my natural nails were 'already long enough and in the desired shape'. When I checked out, I was told that the 'white tip' component is considered nail art and thus is an additional $10 even though "white tip" is included in the $49 full set. I was also told that it was $5 for the shape of the nail when my natural nail was already in the almond shape. I kindly confronted the girl checking me out but she was understandably not able to help me identify where the additional $25 charge came from. My nails look good and I would like to get this service again, however, I am unwilling to pay $74 and tip when the website clearly states $49 for the service I received. I am also unwilling to go to a nail salon where the service I request is substantially different than what I receive. read more

Kenny did my nails and they are exactly what I wanted. I also had a painful cut on my nail from removing my acrylics myself. He was super gentle with that nail. i have been here three times. each time was terrible. the first time i went the guy did not let me pick the length or the shape of my nails and then was constantly asking me questions about my personal life. the second time the lady took 2 hours for simple french tips they were beautiful nails but they were not at all what i asked for. she also overcharged me, my friend and I got the same exact thing and I was charged 20$ more. she also would cut my skin off and say "not my fault" i also asked her to not cut my natural nail too short and she told me no and cut it way too short for my liking. the third time i went for a simple pedicure, the people there seemed to be laughing at my friend and i and they started pulling hard on our toes and looking at each other and laughing, they also overcharge by at least 15% i have gone to different nail spas and it has been around 60-80$ every time i have gone here it has been 90-115$. read more

This review is for the College Ave location. I am a regular client at this location, and I always go to Hailey and she is absolutely amazing. However, recently she was away so my appointment was rebooked with Crystal. This was one of the worst manicures I have ever received, and she was not friendly, rushing, and not careful. She did a fill with gel in 25 minutes which in my opinion is way too fast to do a quality job. She left nail polish all over my fingers and cut me in two spots (as seen in the photos) without acknowledgement. When I talked to the front desk, they basically just apologized and didn't do anything about it. I filled out the survey they sent me and expressed my discontent, and I got a text message reply saying to call the store and ask to speak with the manager. When I did this, I was told there is no manager present and they had no idea that message would even be sent out to me. I was told that my message would be passed along to the manager and they would call me back, which never happened. Hailey is the only reason I will be returning to this location and that I give this business 3 stars. read more

Such a nice place! The environment feels very luxury- chandeliers, statues, a waterfall wall, brand new massage chairs. Was offered a complementary mimosa during my pedicure. The prices were on par with (or maybe even slightly less expensive than) other nail salons in town. The pedicure itself was phenomenal. The first time I came here, I was extremely impressed with not only the service and quality of acrylic set I got but also with how beautiful the salon is. Because of this, I was excited and had thought I had found my forever nail salon. For reference, the manicurist I had the first time was Brian. The set lasted well over the time I expected, so when it started to grow out past my liking I went in on my birthday with my boyfriend to get a new set. Unfortunately, this set was broken within 2 days of getting them on. I wasn't too annoyed, mostly just frustrated. I went in, and they were able to fix it for no cost which I appreciated. However, a week from the day I had initially gotten the set on, another nail broke. Considering how much getting in acrylic set costs, I was extremely annoyed and very angry that this happened. I feel I wasted my money and my time. I will not be returning. Another thing to note is that when I went to get the one nail fixed, the girl who did it whose name I did not catch very rudely suggested that I should get my eyebrows done because they looked bad. I understand that these sorts of businesses thrive on upselling, but insulting customers is no way to go about doing that. Now, I think I'm just going to figure out how to do the nails myself, save the money, and save the headache. read more

Went in for a last minute pedicure and to get the dip on my nails redone. I wasn't sure they would take walk-ins, but as soon as I came in, they starting setting up a chair for me that was ready in a couple of minutes. My technician for my pedicure was John, and I absolutely ADORED him. Besides doing an absolutely fantastic job, he was so kind and funny.
