Food is good. Never a problem but they have a new gimmick when paying for delivered food. An automatic delivery fee is on the bill no matter what amount is ordered. Large or small. They used to take credit cards on the phone and even had your number stored. At time of delivery choice of tip was up to customer. Now they swipe your card when delivering and the least amount of tip shown is 15%. What if I want to give less? You can't talk to driver about it because suddenly he loses the ability to speak English. Not nice how the customer is backed into the corner. I'd give them a five star but their delivery grab fee and tip is not nice to do to their customers. read more

The freshly prepared food is absolutely delicious and full of flavors. The Egg Rolls are lushly filled and tightly packed in a large portion sized that really impressed me. The Sesame Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Chicken have recipes that are perfect! My family and I are equally impressed with the generous offerings of the entrees, sauce packets, fortune cookies and chow mein fried noodles. The service was professional and quick. It's an ok place for Chinese food. I find it odd that there are no good Chinese food places in south Florida, being from California I must be spoiled by all the Asian places and good food. The soups are the best things on their menu everything else is kinda just ok. They seem to economize on meat and add a lot of veggies and very little meat to the meat dishes. Great costumer service! You're greeted once you walk in and immediately seated to a table. I've been here twice and ordered my meal from their lunch menu. I ordered the General Chow this time and it was very fresh. The chicken is great, it isn't as breaded as their other competitors. Their egg drop soup is nice as well. I do not recommend this place. It was ok a year ago but the last two times have been horrible. This was the last time I will order anything from here. I got something that wasn't what I thought I ordered and I've been COOKING and EATING Chinese food for decades. Nobody offered to replace it or refund me my money. I never ever complain, especially at a Chinese restaurants because I like Chinese food a lot and a lot of the place I choose are excellent. The people here are ghetto and rude. She literally hung up on me because I called and stated this isn't what I thought it was. I didn't yell or act rude yet she got rude and defensive. It was a legit concern. I even tasted it and it tasted fishy. There's no fish or fish sauce in what I ordered and the same with the egg rolls. Keep this restaurant off your list. read more

In the 70's more sauce went on my cheeks from fighting with those ribs than in my mouth) EGG ROLLS... TOTALLY OLD SCHOOL and I absolutely love their wrapper. PORK FRIED RICE with extra pork. Yum! FANTAIL SHRIMP... TOTALLY OLD SCHOOL ALSO. EGG DROP SOUP If I were to knock them on old school is that their crispy noodles are not old school spaghetti looking noodles. I have eaten the duck here so many times I am beginning to quack. I like their strong broth for the Won Ton soup too. The restaurant has been open for six years now and I must say they are very consistent; they have great fried Won Tons I have ever had in Broward County and otherwise everything is OK, but the duck is really a buy at $13.95. It's a very simple 40 seat affair with fun decor and very helpful and pleasant help. This is my nearest Chinese fix take out/eat-in restaurant and I come a lot. I've never been let down with their very conventional menu items. NEVER! Yelp is so confused about this place. My review and photos appeared on a listing marked CLOSED so I trotted in to speak with manager who was also confused and has told Yelp on occasions that it is his old location that is CLOSED, not this one. Yelp is confusing the public, but so be it. (I just took more photos and put them in at the old location and they appear, but my old photos of Lychee Garden's NEW location are gone in the ethesphere I guess. This spot is really worth a sit down because the servers and management is delightful, service quick, and it's atmosphere is calming for such a small locus. read more

This place is very shady. We ordered broccoli and beef and also beef lo mein. First of all , it tasted horrible , super bland. Secondly, they barely gave 2 oz of meat for large entree. YAY they deliver with a smile and quickly! This is one of the few places that have real East Coast style cantonese. The best wonton soup with plenty of roast pork and the wontons are thick and not flimsy. The quality of shrimp is better than most and they are medium size. This place used to prepare awesome food, but for the last few times I've ordered, the food started to taste bland and watery. My garlic chicken came dry with the container of some sweet sauce with just a hint of honey and absolutely no garlic. Fried rice seems to have no spices.
