The food here is so good. We've been trying to find good Asian take out in our area since we order it pretty frequently (in true millennial fashion). I've never been into the restaurant itself so I can't speak on the atmosphere but the food is fabulous. Wonton soup? To die for. Pad Thai? Amazing. Lo mein? Outstanding. I LOVE THIS FOOD! Every single time I order, whether it's take out or dine in, the food is always so incredible and so consistent. I'm not kidding it's rare I eat somewhere several times and every single time I eat there, I'm blown away at the food quality. Their Spicy Crispy Chicken with fried rice is the perfect meal imo. Hot and Sour soup is also amazing. Mongolian beef is great! Haven't had an item I didn't like. I don't really go their for the sushi. This family run business seems more like a Chinese restaurant, that happens to do sushi on the side. I'm sure it's great sushi but I wouldn't seek out this place just for a sushi craving. My husband really wanted Chinese food for his birthday, but I'm pregnant and the normal place we go to has been really "meh" lately. So, we landed at Lychee! I am thoroughly impressed and we will be coming back over and over again! When I was little, I used to go to a little Chinese restaurant with my family. We came to know the owners and servers well and I loved it! As a 7 year old, it always mad my day when they'd call me by name! Sadly, they sold their restaurant and it was never the same. Since then, we have never found anything even comparable. But this, this was comparable. We had a longer drive home, so my Lo Mein noodles steamed themselves to be a little soggy, but when I bit into the shrimp... Oh Lord! It tasted JUST like the shrimp did from that little restaurant I used to eat at! My husband had the cashew chicken and he loved it! The veggies were perfectly cooked and still crunchy too! Fried rice- implacable. We also got some sushi since it was a special occasion. Yes, I'm pregnant, but I got the California roll, don't worry ;) the cucumbers were so crunchy and the avocado pieces were huge! My husband loved his spicy salmon rolls! The miso soup is the bestest ever! Such a large portion and there was a ton of tofu and seaweed. So yummy! The crab puffs made me want to cry. Since that little Chinese restaurant, I have never had even a close cousin of their crab puffs. As soon as I bit into the crab puff, it literally brought me back to my childhood birthdays celebrating them at my favorite restaurant! As soon as I was done eating the crab puff, I had to immediately call my mom and tell her about this place! Seriously, in the last 10+ years of looking around for a decent Chinese restaurant, I finally found a GREAT Chinese restaurant. The chicken was drenched in the sauce, so it made the chicken soggy. Not sure if it would have made a different eating it their or not. But wish you he check was crispy. I was decidedly not a sushi person but felt a need to expand my food horizons this night and I think Lychee kitchen has officially converted me!! Ordered the hot night roll, crunchy tempura shrimp roll and chicken dumplings (gradually easing my way into the world of sushi here...) to be delivered and not only was the service prompt, but also the food was DELICIOUS. The hot night roll is spicy - so be forewarned - but in the best way possible. The chicken dumplings were very tasty as well. I went back the next day for lunch because I enjoyed it so much. I opted for a pickup order this time and again Lychee Kitchen was very prompt and had a little plastic covered stand where an employee rang me up - smart and covid-safe. They had extra napkins, chopsticks, and other items you might need with your food at the booth so it was convenient to pick it up right there. I've found my favorite restaurant! read more

We have tried several other Chinese restaurants and none compare the Lychee Kitchen. They are the best Chinese food in Phoenix. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. They have a nice seating area so you can eat there or takep it to go They also have a drive thru which I have never seen before. Great idea. Their bar hasp a vast selection of beer and liquor. The menu is extensive and they offer literally any food you are craving. They even have duck . I had the walnut shrimp. It was very succulent and melted in my mouth. It came with steamed broccoli with some pieces of pineapple and there was lots of shrimp . My friend had the shrimp with lobster sauce. He said it was perfect. The staff was personable and very upbeat. I can't wait to go back and try some different things. We are so happy we found them. read more

We were in town for a quick overnight flight. Ordered Chinese from this via Uber eats. The food is terrible! First the food, which looked nicely packaged had leaked some unknown sauce all over the inside. I got the spicy crispy chicken and it's just bad - chewy, flavors weren't there and it was very dry. My husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the breaded chicken was soggy, and the flavors weren't right. My son got the chicken lo me in, and as long as he's got noodles, he's happy. The fried rice was good, but otherwise, everything else was just terrible. Also, I had marked in the Uber eats app that I needed plastic silverware since we are staying in a hotel and there were ZERO utensils. Zero napkins. Every box (except the seaweed salad which was wrapped separately) was covered in some odd brown goo that matched none of the food we ordered. I am thoroughly pissed that we came to Scottsdale for a great getaway and we usually find some great new food place here, but not this place. Stay far away from the food here. As an added bonus: whoever wrote my fortune for the cookie made zero sense. Not "I really have to think about that" kind of sense, like someone had randomly shoved words that made no sense in the middle of sentences to make it simple a piece of paper in a cookie wrought with gibberish. We keep getting sick after eating here. Chicken was SO chewy - we called to notify them we couldn't eat the food it was SO chewy (like rubber). The lady on the phone laughed when I ask for management, I was never transferred to management then she said "we probably fried it too much" to explain the texture of chicken. Yep, this place is YUMM - Y! Some of the best Chinese Food I've had in a long time. In fact it was so delicious and we were so excited to find a fantastic place, I totally forgot to take some pics of the food. We inhaled it! Sweet and Sour Pork with the sauce on the side, Vegetable Eggrolls and Pork Fried Rice. The pork was fried to a delicious golden brown crisp, the meat tender and juicy. The rice was fluffy and loaded with pork. The Eggrolls were ok, I didn't love them, but definitely not terrible. They had a very strong spice flavor, I don't think it was ginger, almost a cinnamon or nutmeg flavor. Just not my taste. Service is incredible (very friendly staff XD), food is authentic, and they serve large portions that I can pack for leftovers and eat the next meal. Oh my, the mango shrimp tempura roll was so good. I wanted more. I only ordered one roll and wished I would have ordered more. The chicken fried rice is also delish, ordered that for my daughter. Down here for a soccer tournament and we like to try places that we can't eat at home and this was definitely a win.
