RIPPED ME OFF! BEWARE! Bought a $160 battery for my S2000. I specifically bought it here because I wanted the OEM Honda warranty. 18 months later, it died. Won't take a charge on a trickle charger, a deep charger, or from the car. They insist I bring the car in (which is not drivable) with the battery to test it, or they won't provide service. So I need to flatbed a car for a few hundred dollars, to get a pro-rated warranty on a $160 battery. They would not let me bring the battery in separately - which is how I bought it. read more

Over the last two decades, I have purchased multiple cars and had them serviced exclusively at Manchester Honda. While the Service Center is still top notch, I was extremely dissatisfied with the Sales Department. Went in last week to purchase a new car from Diana. She was less than accommodating and repeatedly insulting. Repeatedly told me I didn't need to drive a vehicle before I purchased it, attempted to charge me for products that are included with the car such as undercoat protection and all weather mats, and made us go through the loan process just to get money off the car. The initial car we chose was slightly damaged and they refused to repair it. We then chose another option and they wanted to add 130 miles to the new car they didn't have in stock with zero compensation. Was told it was unreasonable to ask that the new car be towed instead of driven from another state. When I finally canceled the sale and contacted the sales manager, John, he was rude and dismissive. He was honestly exasperated he had to speak to me. Wished me luck buying somewhere else and simply didn't care. Took my business to Executive Honda in Wallingford, and I received a better deal from a courteous and professional salesperson. Scam extended warranty: I owned my 2023 Odyssey for 3 years and 1 month and when I cashed in the unused 7 year extended warranty policy, I got back 45%. I was told that the policy was prorated when I bought it but that match just doesn't add up. read more

Service dept is either clueless or can't be bothered. I called with an issue that many people online seem to be having and the service tech I talked to said he's never heard of the problem and told me that I should watch a YouTube video on how to fix it. When I asked him if he's even heard of the issue he said nope. The call ended with a have a nice day, bud and a prompt hang up. When I called Enfield Honda the service tech I spoke to said he has seen the issue multiple times and knew exactly what I was talking about. Not to mention if you need to have your vehicle serviced the wait list for Manchester is outrageous, September 30th was what I was told is the earliest they can get to me. Enfield is getting me in next week and the tech I dealt with was leagues more pleasant, even sharing a laugh. Long story short, skip Manchester Honda and take the drive to Enfield. There is a real flaw in how this store is operated ... I visited the store to get more information on CRV Sport Hybrid Touring, on the first instance i felt the sale agent did not knew why i came.. while booking appointment they took all the information required , sales agent shud have the complete information of the customer whom he is going to attend. i visited Toyota Dealership on the same day and found a contrasting experience. The sales agent exactly knew why i came...he initiated the conversation appropriately. While my conversation with Kelvin started with him asking me what i was looking for , it was fine ...some of the agents may not have complete information....he took me to his desk which was not tidy ....he was so cold and rigid...indirectly telling my why i have visited the store...he showed me the same thing which i could see online...did not put any effort to explain any thing ...i see a comment made by another user 4 months back in google reviews, abt kelvins behaviour.....but i dont see any difference ...such agents needs to be trained before putting them to work. I was notified of this recall over a year ago by my insurance company. I've been told by the dealership I need to wait for letters from Honda, which I've received all three my car is currently experiencing issues related to the recall, this service manager me was rude to me and acted as if I was a child on the telephone. This recall is because cars catch fire and other major problems. He seems not to terrify burn down alive in my car. I'm hoping that my car can be fixed considering what I've paid on it. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that they can't get parts for a major problem, but they can pump out and sell brand new cars to other people Selling 2019 Honda Accord with the open recall to new people. This review is for The Collision Shop that works with the Honda dealership. My car was rear ended last month & it was a non-at fault accident so I wanted the other person's insurance to ensure my car was back to 100% top notch, pre-accident condition so I found the dealership's auto body repair center & decided to take it there. I read several great reviews, but also some 1 star reviews & decided they still had a better reputation than some of the other places I'd researched so I decided to find out for myself. I called the Collision Shop & Troy was incredibly helpful from day 1. He was attentive to my questions, explained the process & made everything very easy for me. My car took a total of 5 weeks to be fully disassembled, repaired & repainted but it was still done ahead of schedule. I've been driving it for I think a week or so now & I'm very happy with the quality repair they did, there was no need for follow-up. It looks incredible and you'd never know it was in an accident. Troy also updated me over email throughout the repair process to let me know part status & completion estimates. They also worked directly with the other parties insurance which alleviated a huge amount of stress knowing I didn't have to play middleman or pay anything out of pocket. The manager also took me to Enterprise down the road after I dropped my car off so I could get a rental. I'd 10/10 recommend this facility, they know what they're doing & I'm sure as long as you're a nice, respectful person you'll have an amazing experience here! read more

I worked with a salesman and Manager and verbally agreed to a price, which was also provided and agreed to via email. Upon coming in to pick up my car, they told me they made a mistake and were off by $900 on their quote and despite admitting their own fault, did not honor the previously agreed to price. They refused to provide any other compensation to offset their incompetent judgement and error during discussions. They were rude and inconsiderate and basically said "have a great day". Service Department Review: This is a VERY late review, but we're still steaming mad about it. I hope the service department gets it's s**t together! My mother bought 2 NEW cars from Manchester Honda (2013 and 2018 Honda Fits) On April 9, 2019 we brought her 2013 Fit in for service, for a new battery and also a free "spring service" (multi point inspection). The car would intermittently not start from old battery losing charge. So they charged her for new battery and installation ($181.69) GUESS WHAT???????? They DID NOT replace the battery. The whole damn reason the car was brought in! They charged her and didn't do the work. My 81 year old mother then BREAKS DOWN in the car a few days later, has to call me for a "jump start" to get home. We bring the car back 20 days later. All that was offered to my mother for OUR trouble was a free oil change. We were about to contact the Honda Corporate Headquarters and create such a stink of a complaint. An experience like that leaves a very bad taste in your mouth for a long time. Obviously, now there is a concern that we can't assume they will actually do the proper work for which they charge, because of miscommunication, or bad employees, or under staffing or whatever. ADDITIONALLY, I brought her 2018 Honda Fit in for routine oil change, and also tire rotation, and balancing (in July 2021). Immediately after the rotation and "balancing" the car shakes (and has ever since) when applying the brakes, especially going 40+ mph and downhill. Literally the drive home from the appointment I noticed it. The car was PERFECT before I brought it in. My fault for not turning right around and going back. So it wasn't a brake problem or I would have noticed it before. How can we be assured that service done on vehicles is actually done now? and properly? I bought a brand new hrv prior to covid. I had put in 2 years 25k miles. In 2 years, I had replaced 2 tires. Took the car to maintenance on Friday, on Saturday a tire blew off. Road assistance came and changed it. Went on Monday to get the tire replaced and to make the comment that for Me was weird to get a tire replaced by year. The cashier sent me with a manager of something. Wanted to be polite and said that for me the tires were a little bit fragile. He told me I can give you two suggestions, 1) file a complain with the tire manufacturer; 2) We can work with you and get some discount to replace the tires. Then he added, a third option would be to get a new vehicle. We can also work that with you. I just say thanks, will think about replacing the tires and left. Tuesday, I'm driving and the tires light turned on. Stopped at a bj's to check pressure. Tires had a pressure of 37 and 35 psig. Manufacturer guideline says 32 and 28. I brought the 4 of them to 34 and reset the light. Drove back home. Wednesday turn the hrv on and the tires light turned on again, went to bj's and the new tire had 24 psig. Went to the dealership and told the story to the lady at customer service. Put emphasis on how overloaded the tires were. Her answer was, tell us what pressure do you think the tires should have and we will make fill them with that pressure. I just answered that's not my call and neither should be yours. You should be following manufacturer guidelines. She just remain silent and then she said that it was overloaded due to change of season. This was late August. They checked the tires, it has passed 2 days, had barely use the hrv. Hopefully the fixed the problem. In my opinion, the staff is trained to "protect" the company. I waited for 4 hours to get my oil change and tire rotation done. During the rotation they broke one of the lug nuts, and put the blame on Liberty Honda where the rotation was made last time. They wanted to charge $200 for one nut! I requested it to be put back but they rejected in an aggressive manner. It was obvious that they broke the nut just to charge more money. Untrustworthy service department, ripped off customer: I hesitantly brought my civic to Manchester Honda for service back in December, 2021. My first experience with the business occurred in July 2021 when they left me stranded in the waiting room, telling me due to their limited service on Saturday, they could not fix my car. They gave me a phone number of a car rental company who ended up having no cars available on such short notice. I inquired about their loaner cars and was specifically told by a staff of the service department that they "do not typically give them out to people who weren't regular customers." I work in healthcare as a manager and needed to be at my job that morning, I spent over $50 getting an Uber just to leave the dealership. I decided to give Manchester Honda ANOTHER chance last December as I knew I needed maintenance to be performed on my civic. I told Manny of my previous experience and on why I hesitated on coming back. I did not want to get stranded again, not being offered a loaner vehicle for the day. Manny told me a different story from what I had been told my first time around, stating that "they were only for customers who bought their car there." I think that's awful customer experience. Manny changed the tune of this "rule" and said I could get a loaner vehicle if I "selected the services required in a tuneup package for 100K" along with other maintenance issues totaling over $1000. I agreed and TRUSTED that they were only performing repairs on the most needed areas of my civic. I later got a call from Manny, asking if I give a good review on their email survey, he would "knock off 10%". I felt this was shady professionalism but I shrugged it off, but had intent to return for service. 3.5 months later, I bring the diagnostics packet from Manchester Honda to my usual mechanic as I dropped off my vehicle for maintenance. He was DISTURBED by what they charged me, considering a mechanic would know that spark plugs would appear to be recently replaced apart from spark plugs that were never touched. They replaced my spark plugs at 7,000. They did not ask if they had been done. Not only did their service department do this, upon their "inspection" of my vehicle, they stated that my tires were in GOOD shape, which was in fact completely untrue. In the three months, it's impossible for my tires to be conditioned as GOOD to BAD (BALD). Giving false information risked my safety, thinking that I could rely on these diagnostics. It seems that they didn't do a complete and thorough inspection. They also claimed that they repaired a valve which looks as if it was never touched and crusted shut, as stated by my mechanic. I have faith in my OWN mechanic as he is reputable in the area. My mechanic called Manchester Honda and told them of these unnecessary services and accused them of what they claimed to have done to my vehicle when in fact was untruthfully done. They claim that their mechanic has been with the company for "over 20 years" and insists they did as they were supposed to. I called the manager and told her how disgusted I was with their untrustworthy service. She basically told me that "I have a right to take my car to whatever mechanic I may choose" when I stated that I would not return for service. Manchester Honda does not care. My initial contact with the dealership was with Kevin Batista, who was also a great communicator, but due to a scheduling conflict I ended up getting partnered with Mark. I also learned that Kevin wasn't an actual salesperson, he manages the online.. contacts or something. Anyway. Long story short, within seconds of being introduced to Mark, I knew I was going to have a great experience and that is exactly what I had! My fiancée and daughter came by during my initial visit and my daughter (who is just about 2yrs old) loved him the second she saw him! Must be something about tall guys (go figure!) Mark was extremely attentive and entertaining, both with in-person exchanges, email, and via phone. He is a no-BS and no surprises type of person, and I can tell that he's doing this job because he loves doing it. Theres so much more to making a sale, when you consider that cars are investments and are huge representations of the owner's (or potential owner's) personality. I can't express my gratitude for Mark and his immeasurably exceptional service during my purchase process. I'm sure that his peers are also just as great, but I HIGHLY recommend working with Mark if you have the opportunity. About the car... I've been searching for a 2013-2017 Accord EX 6spd sedan for MONTHS! It's one of those models that Honda didn't care to make many of, so they are extremely rare. I'll check Cars.com and AutoTrader day in and day out, on lunch breaks, for this car -- it'll show up (in my area) one day, and be gone the next. They're in high demand, I guess, but it sucks that they are so rare. Though I'm extremely glad that I was able to snag this deal. Came here to look at a 2008 Honda Fit that was listed online. Zach, the salesman whom had answered my email inquiry passed me right off to a Jack when I arrived for my appointment. Everything seemed fine during the initial meeting at his desk; he went through a little slideshow explaining their dealership, their philosophy, how they're a "no haggle" place...and so forth. He listed all the work done to the Fit when they received and calculated what it would cost out the door (I made it clear I would be buying outright; don't want any more loans): around $8500. When the vehicle was brought out, I was flabbergasted. It had dents, deep gouges on both sides (right down to the metal; the paint was GONE), the interior was covered in sticker residue, animal hair, and (I kid you not) there was a suspicious looking white stain on the driver's seat. The vehicle was also making a suspicious rattling/knocking sound. Jack kept making excuses, saying "That's how Hondas sound" and "this is what you'll find in vehicles in this price range." Seriously?? Sorry, buddy. New tires, an air filter, and a quick carwash DON'T make a vehicle like that worth what you're asking for. They couldn't even repair the gouges or hell, at least take an alcohol pad and wipe off the sticker residue? And that stain...I wasn't going anywhere near that seat. Test drive: out of the question! If this is the kind of pride this dealership takes in their used vehicles, I'm not impressed. I'll be looking elsewhere. read more
