I recently had to replace my 16-year-old hot water heater after it broke during the recent snow storm--worst possible timing! I called Lyons Plumbing and spoke with Dan Lyons, who was super helpful and understanding. He got me scheduled for the very next day without any hassle. Dan and Mark Britt showed up early, jumped right to work, and had the new hot water heater installed in less than 90 minutes. The whole process was quick, clean, and professional. I requested a water heater installation, faucet replacement, and fixing a leaky faucet. I had a particular brand in mind, and they said that was the best, and said it could be done rapidly, as my water heater was not in good shape. They went the extra mile to get my water heater in the house, as the basement steps were too narrow. It's running beautifully now, and my mind is eased. The kitchen faucet has been dripping for a long time, and the new one (I bought it, they didn't give me a hard time) is beautiful and I love it. The leaky sink is being fixed, Mark saw a name on it when I just missed it completely, lol. So what could have been a $400 job ended up being much less, and he replaced the pieces on both faucets, as they were both worn. They were both very nice and did the job extremely fast. Last time I had a water heater replaced, it took three days, but not with Lyons! Great service, left no mess, and even took MY box and packing material away. Highly recommended. read more

My house was built in the 40's and has mostly original plumbing. I've had Steve here so many times over the years that he became almost part of the family. When there got to be 3 different minor problems and one major problem, I finally called for an appointment yesterday morning. Today Mark came at the scheduled afternoon time. He immediately correctly diagnosed all the problems, had the parts in his van, and had everything fixed within an hour. My plumbing is old but he didn't try to get me to replace anything, he just took care of my issues, answered all of my questions and showed me what he was doing, gave me a bit of advice when I asked. And then he charged me a totally fair price! I have used Lyons for 30 years and I never cease to be anything but relieved and grateful that I have plumbers that I can trust! read more

Lyons Plumbing was recommended by a friend that had used them. I had dryer vents that needed to be replaced and was told my water heater was in the way and had to be drained and moved to connect the dryer vents. Mark from Lyons came and looked at the job and said I didn't need to move the water heater or drain it. He was kind told me what he had to do, although he didn't have certain parts on his truck. He did come back later to do the repair which was done professionally, Mark was a delight very conversational and answered my questions as well. More important I saved money for not having to do what the other Company had suggested. I will most definitely use Lyons Plumbing again and most certainly recommend them to my family and friends. I used Lyons plumbing for the first time today. I'm very happy I made that choice. I called yesterday on a Sunday and they answered and had me scheduled for today within minutes. They showed up on time as they said, and they sent a fabulous plumber to take care of my troubles. Mark is the plumbers name that came out to take care of me. Our toilet was leaking from the base of the seat and needed to be reseated. After making calls, Dan was straightforward and talked about his fees and which I found fair and no hassles like the other plumbing companies that had different fees for different time of the day. Dan was able to schedule me on the same day I called in and Mark showed up at the scheduled time. Mark is a nice guy and very professional. Lyon's Plumbing called me within minutes of my online request for help with my water treatment system. The company who installed my water treatment system went out of business. Three other companies stated "NO we cannot help you" when I contacted them. Dan Lyons researched the water system I had and agreed to help me. Mark from Lyons Plumbing came out to address a leak from our washer into the unit below us. When he got here he snaked the drain but after testing it quickly figured out that it was most likely the height and length of the stand pipe. He ran out to the truck, had all the necessary materials, and had our washer tested and back up and running in about a half hour.
