I called HEIL Plumbing when they opened at 07:30 hrs. I got a return call from Allison within 1 hour. She was able to schedule Eric (the younger) to come out the same day between 09:00 hrs and 13:00 hrs. Eric arrived at approximately 09:20 hrs. Eric quickly diagnosed the issue. This time, while he was running diagnostic checks to identify the issue, fortunately, the toilet clog cleared itself. He ran the check a number of times , including running the sink cold water to try to overload the waste line with water, to make sure that the clogged toilet was no longer an issue. Once he was satisfied that all was good, he let me know that the charge for today would be the general diagniostic charge of $95.00. Again, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process, from making an appointment, to Eric's arrival time, his pleasant demeanor and his professional knowledge. I would highly recomment Eric (the younger) with HEIL Plumbing for anyone who has a residential plumbing issue that they need to have addressed by a pleasant, knowledgeable professional.

Wish the assessment was either free or can get a refund.

During his first visit, Mark was thorough, answered every question, and explained everything clearly. He fixed half the issue on the spot and returned the next day to finish the job. Because the old valve was badly installed and the surrounding "box" cracked when it was removed, Mark went above and beyond. He replaced the whole box and the new valves, a service that would normally cost an extra$200, but he didn't charge us a cent for it. He tested everything before leaving, and when I mentioned our weak‑pressure shower, he instantly diagnosed the cause, explained what caused it, and showed me the issue, and fixed it at no additional cost. I also asked about the slow draining sink, and Mark handed me a tool to remove the debris and showed me how to access the clog. Again, this was free of charge. Mark assured us that Lyons' labor and parts come with a one‑year warranty and that the components used are built to last. In today's world, it's hard to trust someone you don't know, but Mark made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. We're thrilled with the service and will gladly refer Mark and Lyons to anyone needing plumbing or drainage help! We will no longer be looking for another plumber again.

The guy came out, don't want to name the plumber, sent me an estimate literally 5 minutes after leaving the house. The estimate was for almost $5000 to replace the hot water heater and another $4500+ to repair/replace the leaky pipes for a total of almost $9500. Ridiculously laughable. I was able to get the job done for $1200 total by a licensed independent plumber. I didn't need the HW heater to be replaced. They just had to remove some HVAC ductwork to get to the leaky pipes, which they put everything back after replacing pipes. Do Not use Mallick I would consider them to be untrustworthy, and total rip off. Always get at least 3 estimates just make sure they are licensed. I still ended paying $99 for Mallick because they have a policy you pay $99 for estimate but gets added to the total if you get the work done. Again, ripoff. I also got an estimate from FH Furr that was significantly lower than Mallick but they were unwilling to remove ducts that they didn't install. Another ridiculous policy by another large plumbing company even though their plumber said they would have to involve the HVAC department. Maybe their plumbers don't know company policy. These guys didn't charge for an estimate. My recommendation is DO NOT use Mallick and even DO NOT use FH Furr.

I requested service for a leaking bathtub faucet on Sunday after the 4th of July after my water bill came and almost doubled from the last one. Silly me thinking the leak wasn't that bad. In 24 hours I had 4 responses from plumbers. But only one responded within 20 mins and that was Shawn Cowart. I gave them all a call back, and let's be honest here, counting our $$ in these trying times is a priority. Half of them I called back couldn't give me an estimate over the phone. It's a leaky faucet, not a water heater replacement. Shawn, who was a pleasure to speak to on the phone gave me a range. He turned up on time on the scheduled day and my total was what I expected considering the range and type of set up I gave him over the phone. He was courteous, knowledgeable and had all the spare parts needed to get the job done. 30 mins later, he was on to his next appointment and I could rest assured to not have an increased water bill going forward. I had Elite Service out to my condo to snake a drain that was backed up. I was very satisfied with the service for the following reasons: They were on time - even gave a heads up call when they were on their way. They were friendly and respectful - put on booties over their shoes before coming in. They asked about where to park and how to get back in the building if they need to go get tools - most will park wherever they please and prop doors to buildings open. My sink now drains like new AND it came with a 1-year warranty! It did cost $250 for about a 10-minute job. You might be thinking to yourself WTF!!! A doctor with a law degree that cures cancer doesn't charge that much...I agree. However, I did get quotes from multiple plumbers in the area (and outside of the area) and it turns out that is an average fee. Consider that they have two people making a trip to your residence and using some heavy duty tools. Bottom line, they did a great job and were very professional. The cost was worth it. read more

Was told over the phone we would have a service charge, however once the plumber arrived he more than doubled the fee we were told over the phone. The plumber then told us if he couldn't fix the problem he wouldn't charge anything. Upon looking at the water heater (less than 1 year old) he told us specifically that the problem wouldn't be solved by changing the thermocouple, and proceeded to say the problem was strictly due to poor installation and poor equipment. He even suggested replacing the water heater entirely. He didn't fix the heater, and he charged the more than doubled service fee anyway-even though he stated he wouldn't if he didn't fix anything. An entirely new plumber can our today, replaced the thermocouple after his detailed inspection, and the less than 1 year old water heater that elite plumbing suggested we replace now works perfectly. read more

On a weekend, I noticed water on my bathroom floor that seemed to be coming up from the floor on my top floor condo. I called Elite Service Plumber on a Saturday, concerned that waiting until Monday might create water damage to the unit below. I got a prompt response, was made aware of a difference in trip charge as it was a weekend, but felt I needed the peace of mind. Shawn came out at 6pm on a Saturday, diagnosed and gave me options to choose from explaining each one. He also gave me a way to ensure any leakage below would be remedied. I had an issue with my tub where the hot water was cooling off but the shower and sink were still very hot. He identified a mixing valve under the sink that supplied the tub that I was unaware of and showed me how to adjust it. With the bitterly cold weather, the cold water supply was cooling off the mix too much. Thanks to him, I was able to address the issue without an expensive repair. Would highly recommend. I had a part that they no longer make, and he was able to find a part for me quickly, and explain to me why they no longer use the parts I still have. Their plumber showed up and told me the line was cleared. They charged me $729.00 which was extremely high. In less than 5 days the laundry sink started backing up again. I called Peddicord plumbing and was told they couldn't come back for almost another week. I spoke with their manager Patricia and was told that even though I just paid $729.00 they were too busy to come out and fix a job that wasn't completed . I am a senior on a fixed income. I called WSSC to come check the county lines which they came right out. They said the lines were fine and that Peddicord plumbing did an incomplete job. I was also told that The plumbing company should submit an Off-Property Report Request for my Address. I feel like I was taken advantage of when the Peddicord Plumbing Manager Patricia told me they would have to send 2 plumbers and other equipment and charge me more money for the same work they didn't complete. I paid $729.00 for incomplete work. I was also told they don't guarantee cleared drains but never told me that or the cost before they started the job. They advertise that that have a workmanship guarantee. Seniors beware of this company. Really anyone should beware of a company that in less than 5 days they won't honor what you just paid for and paid a very high price for incomplete work.

I had called at the end of last week for an update and was told the bid was being worked on. When I called back this week I was shocked by them saying they were now refusing the job. I asked when they were going to let me know that they weren't going to move forward with the job. You know the professional thing to do...? I was specifically told by Roy, "Well you wasted our time, so I thought we would waste yours." If you don't want the work that's one thing. But to tell me you were working on something that you weren't, and to treat me like that when I was just trying to get to the bottom of what was going on is rather shocking. They never called with any questions and didn't have the decency to let me know that they weren't going to move forward with the job. When I called to follow up and to be told that they wanted to waste my time is disgraceful for any business. To expect store employees to know the exact scope of work doesn't make sense in the commercial space. Do not choose this company for any commercial work. There communication is severely lacking and their customer service is childish.

I called HEIL Plumbing when they opened at 07:30 hrs. I got a return call from Allison within 1 hour. She was able to schedule Eric (the younger) to come out the same day between 09:00 hrs and 13:00 hrs. Eric arrived at approximately 09:20 hrs. Eric quickly diagnosed the issue. This time, while he was running diagnostic checks to identify the issue, fortunately, the toilet clog cleared itself. He ran the check a number of times , including running the sink cold water to try to overload the waste line with water, to make sure that the clogged toilet was no longer an issue. Once he was satisfied that all was good, he let me know that the charge for today would be the general diagniostic charge of $95.00. Again, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process, from making an appointment, to Eric's arrival time, his pleasant demeanor and his professional knowledge.
