I've come to M & J multiple times for repairs and each time the service is incredible! The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable, they answered all of my questions and did everything to make the process as seamless as possible. They worked closely with my insurance company to obtain all the necessary information, and I barely had to lift a finger. They were very transparent about the time it would take to obtain parts for my car repair and ordered everything before drop off so that I did not have to leave my car longer than necessary. I was involved in a car accident on Christmas Eve and needed a body shop to repair my car. Progressive, my car insurance, gave me a list of referrals of available body shops. The list included many shops, including Caliber Collision, where I previously took my wife's car for repair work when she was rear ended. But I didn't like the work they did and they weren't responsive and communicative. Luckily, I saw M & J Auto Body and decided to go with them based on their excellent Yelp reviews. I took the car to M& J and Vic who is extremely nice, professional, attentive, and communicative, was in charge of my car. He said it would probably take 3-4 weeks to get everything done. He walked me through what needed to be done on the car and the whole process. Well, it didn't take 3-4 weeks --it was done in less than 3 weeks for major repair work (just look at my pictures). The end result floored me. The paint came out great, the wide mirror was fixed, and they even arranged to re-tint my front passenger window since the original window was shattered during the accident. My car looks as good as when I first bought it. In addition to getting repairs for the damage caused during the accident, I asked Vic if he could give me a quote and fix a couple of dents on my car (one in the left rear quarter panel and the other on my front bumper), repaint the paint that was flaking and chipping next to my rear window (factory paint), and if he could restore my front headlights (plastic headlights were now oxidized and no longer clear.) He did all that with a very reasonable price. With all that work done, my car looks brand spanking new again, which is hard to believe since my car is 7 years old. I highly recommend M & J. Over the past 20 years, I've taken many cars to at least 6+ body shops. I never went back to them because either the car wasn't painted right, they took too long, they would damage the inside of my car, etc. Now, however, I finally found a family owned shop that I will take all my cars too --and will recommend to all my family and friends. read more

I recently got work done at M&J (through Progressive) and it was seamless. They gave me a quote super quick and preordered my parts before I dropped my car off. They said I would be without my car for 3-4 days but I ended up getting it back about ~30 hours later. Granted, my repair was pretty minimal and only needed my front bumper replaced but nevertheless it was an amazing turnaround. Jack, Vick, and the front office were professional the whole time. Got lightly rear ended on my back left tail light and fender panel... seemed like a simple enough fix for a reputable body shop.... Car panels, fenders, and ends seem a little "off" now. I can't put my finger on it exactly. Seems gappy now and spaced. An owner of 22+ years knows when something's off. First time; they painted my panel orangy red not matching the rest of my car. Somehow, I was blamed... something about the code of color...I believe they nay have used the color from the Mazda 3 instead of the Protegé 5... eventually said they would fix it. I walked away and left the car there, giving them another 2 weeks to fix it and now it "feels" like the car body and bumpers were dismantled and put back together in haste. I have absolutely no proof. When you see and drive the same car for over 2 decades you notice when something's off. Looks disjointed now. 2 other points of customer service. The car had wet paint on it which got all over my jeans. The owner said to send him a receipt for reimbursement of a new pair; $32. I had to remind him several times. The burden once again was mine. Just don't offer next time. When I brought up through text with pics the anomaly of panels being unaligned, I was ghosted. When I found the time out of my schedule to bring it in, in person, he apologized and said, he was out of town. How does he know he was out of town? Anyway; says there's no way his people could've made the errors in putting my car back together incongruently. Was finally offered to bring the car back another time to adjust rear bumper so it's flush again. Nah... No longer interested in working for/with this company. Good day, everybody! read more

This business was great to work with. I was very impressed with my car after the work was done. I had 4 pine cones fall on my Toyota and needed body work on the roof, door frame and hood. I would never trust you to touch my car ever again, I would have never reached out again to deal with you or your father who in the end, threw the receipt paper at me. Also, you're a body shop, you're not a mechanic, you have zero jurisdiction and/or proof to tell me my battery was at the end of its life. Big lie. That's just an excuse. I only serviced my car at a Prius specialist and my battery/ engine everything was in perfect condition. You took a month to remove some scratches and repaint the hood of my car. That says enough about your business. Who knows what else you did to my car while it was there so long and to return it to me in a non working condition. Even the lawyer I was working with suggested I just sue you to recover damages because of how difficult you were to work with, yes in the end you complied, but it was a horrible ordeal to go through. An uninsured driver smashed my right and front side. After some hassle with police reports and insurance decisions I was not looking forward to my car being in a shop for weeks or months. There was a lot of work to be done! My headlight was hanging out, the bumper almost kissed the ground and the front door didn't open. There was black paint all down the side and scraped rims. It was a mess. But these guys! All I did was drop off my car and less than 2 weeks later it was time to pick it up! It honestly looks completely brand new. It's absolutely perfect. They even pointed out a flaw in the manufacturer's paint that I can get repaired for free at my local dealership. They took the time to explain everything. He gave me several options (at different prices) to fix the minor damage to my car, then charged me less than I expected for the option I chose. I have a BMW 335i and it was broken into the night before and they smashed the driver side window. I was scrambling to get my car fixed because it could not be parked with a broken window. The dealerships we giving me the run around about it being a Saturday adn service being closed. I called M & J and they ordered the part over the phone before I even brought the car in.
