The Monday before the storm going up Avon Mountain, I felt the car struggling going up and then it started to shake. I reached the office where I work at and my husband suggested to take it somewhere near the office. I started looking and saw that Village was a few minutes away. I called and was told to bring the car over. After explaining the situation he indicated he might know the issue. I left the car there and went to work. A few hours later he indicated that I needed to replace the spark plugs and ignition cord. My car was ready before my day ended at work, when I drove up Avon Mountain, what a smooth ride going up. I've had no issues ever since, I would definitely recommend Village.

Didn't charge me anything for the assessment. Only complaint I would have is that I never gave consent for them to drive my vehicle on the road. Despite my understanding that Scott had confirmed the auxiliary battery could be tested after the primary battery work, Zach refused and told me to leave. This was especially frightening because I have mobility limitations and am a person with a disability. After leaving, I discovered that venting tubes and other battery-related components had been removed or disconnected. My Jeep was smoking heavily, and employees at Advance Auto Parts were shocked by its condition and concerned it was close to catching fire. I am deeply concerned that the work performed created a serious safety hazard, potentially putting me and others at risk. I have reported this matter to Firestone corporate and am requesting a thorough investigation into what was done to my vehicle and the conduct of the employees involved.

But the front rotors warped AGAIN by Aug/Sep. Now I was being told that the brake calipers had to be changed for an additional $1,000. Why didn't they find this as an issue before? Why was my SUV working fine for the first 6 years/50,000+ miles, now having brake/rotor issues every 3-6 months? I didn't get the impression they knew what they were doing. I went back to the dealership and got it fixed right. I tried to save some $$$ but it ended up costing me a whole lot more (and the dealer found no issues with the calipers, just the brake pads).

After posting I received a call from the Regional Manager who researched my experience and sincerely apologized and vowed to "make it right." The manager assured me the issues would be addressed and for my troubles they would send me a check for $50.00 which restored my faith in their company, that was 2 months ago and never received anything. Dysfunctional from top to bottom with this company, do yourself a favor and stay clear. Better to spend a bit more for quality service/experience.
