Visited Valvoline on a Saturday afternoon, very last minute decision. All other oil change spots in…read morethe area didn't have any available appointments so I decided on checking out Valvoline since you can arrive for a 15-20 minute oil change with no appointment needed. There were two lanes; the lane I was in had about 4-5 cars ahead of me and it took around 1 hour and a half. There's a Dunkin in the same parking lot if you're looking to grab something quick while waiting. Once it's your turn, they will tell you to pull in and leave the car on while they check the mileage, tires, etc. The oil change literally took 20 minutes tops! FYI - This is a "stay in your car" type of oil change. You sit in your car with it turned off while they check certain things such as your air filter, tires, etc. Since it was my first time, the employee explained everything to me. I have a Honda HRV Sport and receives full synthetic oil, it was priced at $99. There was a $10 coupon online (always check for coupons) which brought my total down to $89. They also changed my air filter which in total, came out to $125. Once the oil change was complete, I was good to go. Would definitely visit again during an off day! I was spending over an hour waiting at other oil change spots when I could take 20 minutes depending on the line!

Suggested replacing them at a convenient time during the next few months, as brake pads were fine. Compared to the relentless upselling I've experienced at Jaguar dealer repair shops, Dan's honesty was a breath of fresh air. He could easily have indicated the necessity for new brake pads and instead honestly recommended a far less expensive sensor replacement. Dan is my go-to Jaguar repair guy going forward.

Very disappointed with my experience at Firestone in Springfield, NJ on 6/20/2025…read more I went in for an oil change and was told my DieHard Gold battery (installed by them in 4/18/2024) had an acid leak. I was told it was under warranty and I'd only pay $35 for installation. When I went to check out, I was suddenly charged $82.98 due to a "prorated" fee, something that was never mentioned before the work was done. When I questioned it, the person at the counter was rude and dismissive, saying "What do you want me to do, take the battery out?" That's not a real option, it felt like pressure. He gave a fake apology and blamed me for a "misunderstanding," but I was clearly misled. I later confirmed the battery has a 36-month free replacement warranty, and Firestone failed to honor it. On top of that, their attitude was completely unprofessional.
