One star because I cannot leave zero stars. MM is lacking in professionalism and basic customer service. The front desk receptionist attempts a fake friendliness but the overall vibe for this place is intolerance. I watched this same receptionist treat the person I was with so much more respect than I was shown, until she realized we were together. Oops!! The employee giving the estimate acted as though he couldn't have been more annoyed. Seems like such an odd way to greet a potential paying customer. He was rude, unfriendly and lacking in basic manners, not to mention customer service. I am extremely underwhelmed with waste of time that was visiting this company. I would never trust them with anything to do with my vehicle. Not to mention the overpriced quote that was basically thrown at me with no explanation. Visiting this location and having to interact with these people has truly been the worst part of my day. It's clear they have no idea how many reputable body shops exist within a two mile radius of their shop? I do not live in Indy anymore but am privy to the unacceptable small mentality that is many times found in towns like this. For some reason I thought things would be different in 2024. Yet here we are. I suggest going to Indy Color for your collision needs. They are immediately kind, friendly, professional, and welcoming to all customers. Their pricing is much more logical. I say venture just a few miles down the street and you will find superior service. No customer should have to beg for reasonable customer service when they plan to spend thousands of dollars. Some people run from conflict. They cannot, without any doubt, muster up any kind of courage to face a problem that they perceive as a negative situation. Some people thrive in conflict and learn to find agreeable situations in negotiation and solution. In the customer service industry, as any industry that deals with people, you can train your employees who are afraid of conflict to understand what conflict actually is. A problem is only a negative situation if you make it one. What a problem really can be is a golden opportunity to WOW your customer with a timely solution to their need. I had just wrecked my car last month and M&M was the most convenient and recommended body shop in the area (see previous), but I was given satisfactory service and nothing memorable until yesterday. When my newly repaired car had an issue with the door handle (on the side of the repair) M&M's service recovery sprang into action. I pulled up to the place without an appointment. Before I could even fully explain what was going on, the manager right away came out, apologetically asked if I could spare a few minutes, and had a tech at my car within a minute. After assessing the situation and applying a relatively easy fix, he reassured me that if the same problem ever happened again, he would order a new part and fix it right away. That's good service folks. He didn't question me or my motives, or even researched if the door was something that they even addressed during the repair. He fixed the problem, no questions asked and reassured me that he would continue to take care of my needs. I find a previous review surprising as I left a voicemail for the Receptionist to call me back to make an appt. to get my vehicle in. She returned my call within a few minutes, scheduled the appt. for my first availability and was extremely pleasant. She even offered helpful information about my more than likely insurance claim. So far, my experience with M & M Body Shop has been excellent. I've lived in Brownsburg for 10 years and have always heard great things. M & M Body Shop was referred to me by Brownsburg Muffler who my family has been using for years. Referrals from other local, related businesses mean a great deal. Drew Connor was absolutely fabulous. He helped me make sense of all the options for my car, offered to get me a cheaper alternative, and made sure my car was safe to drive. I took my SUV here for a walk-in estimate. I received an estimate and scheduled a 3 day repair in the span of 15 minutes. The atmosphere of the shop is VERY laid back. I dropped off my vehicle at 8am on Monday morning. No one was in the office so after 5 minutes I left my keys on the counter with my name and number. Three days pass and I hear nothing from this shop. I call at 3pm on the third day and the woman that answers the phone can't provide me with any information on whether my vehicle will be done by the time they close at 5pm. I'm told by the useless receptionist that she simply can't tell me when the vehicle will be done. I call back at 4:15 and am still told that she has no idea if it will be done by 5pm because "all the guys are in the shop". I showed up at 4:50 and was told my vehicle was done. The car looks great but this company has terrible customer service, no communication skills, and their receptionist is beyond useless and offered ZERO help in trying to aid a customer. ADDENDUM: I did receive a phone call from the shop to follow up with me after seeing my review on yelp. The gentleman did apologize several times and even offered some car cleaning/detailing work. I was surprised to get the follow up phone call and was willing to increase my rating on here because of that. This gentleman had great customer service and obviously wanted to see the customer happy. I still stand firm that the female I dealt with was very useless in her role. read more

Having your car wrecked by a hit and run is definitely stressful, but M&M was so easy to deal with. They e-mailed me an estimate within 24 hours, called me as soon as my insurance company had approved, and even warned me ahead of time the possible problems that might come up once they began work, so there were no surprises. Their estimates are easy to understand (having a section that explains what all the abbreviations mean is much appreciated!) and I can't emphasize enough how great my car looked when finished - literally like it had never been in an accident. I don't wish anybody else to be in an accident, but if they are, I'll know exactly who to recommend! read more

Needed my driver's door hinges replaced, welded, not bolted and the third door opener mechanism replaced as well. Was given a quote by, Wes. Took my truck in before work on Wednesday, got a call from Wes at 10 am Thursday that it was done and had been since Wednesday night. Picked it up and everything was fixed, door lined up great and was charged $40.00 less than quoted. M&M has been voted Best in Hendricks county for a reason. I've taken my vehicles for repair to M & M for years when the unfortunate circumstances occur to our vehicles. M & M is very conscientious about their work. I recently had to use them again for a claim involving a prominent insurance company. The insuree hit our Infiniti and damaged it up significantly. The insurance company insisted on using all cheap Chinese components on a Japanese vehicle. M & M fought with the insurance company on my behalf and got most of the issues resolved getting Japanese parts. The issues that they couldn't get resolved they took care of on their own without any additional costs to me. The vehicle now looks better than it did before the accident due to I'm assuming the natural paint fading of the sun. In fact, the car looked so good that we just traded it in for a Lexus and received far more on a trade allowance than we were offered just months before the accident. read more
