I contacted AAA through the app a little before 2:30. The initial estimated arrival time I received was 3:06. At 2:58, the driver called and told me he would be there at 3:40. At 3:55 and again at 4:00, I tried calling him back on the number he used, but there was no answer, and his voicemail was not set up. I then called AAA to find out what was going on and was told the driver would arrive in 15 minutes. I waited another 25 minutes, but no one ever showed. Since I had a wedding to attend the next day, I pushed the car into a parking space and arranged a ride home. The following day, I had to hire another tow company to move the car. If a driver says they will arrive within a certain time frame and are running late, it's their responsibility to update the customer. Failing to communicate is not only unprofessional--it's simply common courtesy. read more

I used Roadside Assistance through my insurance to get my car towed. The first towing company was going to overcharge and come from Orland Park, so I opted to leave the car overnight. The day after, the first towing company that was scheduled to come out did not show up, so M&N was reached. Not only were they available before the expected time, but they were able to complete the job to full satisfaction! Sam was very communicative, calling me to let me know he was 20 minutes away. Then, he called when he got to the shopping center to locate my car. As far as I can tell, Sam did a great job carefully getting my car on the flatbed. He verified the location to bring my car. I met him at my mechanic, he was careful about where he delivered my car while I got the envelope for dropping my keys in the overnight bin. He confirmed at the end that insurance covered everything and I owed nothing. He also asked if he provided the service to my satisfaction, which I honestly told him I did. The mechanics will not be able to see my car until tomorrow, so unless they find something, I think Sam did a wonderful job and I am extremely happy he was able to help me (on my Birthday to boot!). It took over 4 hours for a driver to get to my boyfriend. When he arrived, the sun was setting and the temperature was dropping into the 30s. The car did reach its destination... but my boyfriend was told he couldn't be given a ride anywhere due to "covid policy". Why was this not mentioned when he called, or some time during the 4 hours he was stuck? He was left on the side of the I94 tollway in the dark and cold, with no car or ride. For the past 45 minutes truly haven't even answered their phone-so State Farm found me a new provider. They even told me the last time I could get in touch with them over 2 hours ago that the driver had an issue at the last pick up, but was dropping the car and on the way to me. I have a new company on their way now-thanks for wasting my entire day where the mechanic wasn't able to look at the issue and fix it. My husbands car wouldn't start and our roadside assistant had this company come out. He got there and tried to jump the car 5 times after we told him we already tried. He then proceeded to tell us that he cannot get the car with the flatbed that he needed to go back to the shop and get a wheel lift. So he said he will be back in 45 minutes. We waited 1 hour and 20 min he never came back and on the roadside app he said job completed. What a horrible person to do that. Similar issues reported. I had an accident and State Farm set up the tow request. M and N Towing Inc picked up the call at 2 pm and messaged they would have my tow complete within 3 hours. I called back at 4 pm to see what was happening as I received a message pick up would be at 3:18pm and the delivery was overdue (I live 30 minutes away). My answer was the tow operator was redirected and they would route a new tow operator. I received another message at 4:25 pm that the tow operator was 5 minutes away. You know the game ... no other updates so I called at 5:50pm to find out they hadn't yet picked up my vehicle and needed to route a third tow operator from Libertyville. I made a roadside assistance call through Honda yesterday for a blowout at 5:09PM, and proceeded to wait almost 3 hours for these jerks to show up. My husband and I had a very good experience with this company. They were dispatched by AAA, so it gets dispatched to whoever can get to you first, and most times the drivers are rude and pushy. Our driver, I unfortunately don't remember his name, was very friendly, helpful, and considerate. He was extremely careful with my car! It's low, and with a flat it's stupid low (obviously). I was strong armed by this company to pay them when my insurance shouldve paid them. My insurance company selected this trash company for me. Originally I was told that M&N would be there in 120-150 minutes (which is ridiculous) but they showed up over 45 min late still. My insurance company texted me to ask if they had shown up yet and I replied they didnt. My insurance canceled them but wait it gets worse. My insurance company tried to call them 3x and they didnt answer. Come to find out they had already picked up my car. I got an ETA of 120 minutes. )I am located in a completely different state than this company.. How they chose this "nearby" provider, I will never understand). Received multiple ETA changes and finally the driver showed up at 5:01 pm. (his stop prior was "delayed"). at 5:14 pm the tow truck driver requested the spare key after losing the main key. Retrieved the spare key for him (now I'm down to one set). 7:45 tow truck is driving away WITHOUT my vehicle. for one, he could barely get his body to the ground to hook up my vehicle. he went from side to side trying to figure out how to do the one job he was assigned. idk why he looked so confused on where to hook the vehicle, it was freaking me out. finally he gets the vehicle hooked and cannot get it onto the truck. goes back and forth moving the wheel. still can't get his sh** together. Then gets my vehicle halfway on the bed and says "you hear that? I can't tow this vehicle, my cable might snap". takes my vehicle off and says he cannot complete the job. mind you, they have the year make a model prior to accepting the job so I'm not sure how you can't complete a task you accepted. Got back on the phone with progressive and demanded a specific towing company in town. 30 minute ETA for my personal requested company who arrived early, vehicle loaded within 5 min, drove 10 miles to destination and loaded off in another 5 minutes. I could have put the car in neutral and pushed that mf faster than the service I got today. Absolutely aweful. And now I have a car key mysteriously missing that also has my HOUSE KEY on on same key ring.. So now I have to get me locks changed on my home.. REQUEST YOUR OWN TOW COMPANY PEOPLE. Was referred to this provider through my Honda roadside assistance insurance. Tony showed up and was very professional, polite and helpful. Ended up jumping my car and saving a tow which I really appreciated. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because I was quoted a two hour wait time (understandable in this cold snap!) but they didn't show up until 20 minutes after quoted time and only after I called to inquire about ETA. I called the Lexus roadside assistance the first time at 4:46 pm. Saturday, February 17, 2018. Tony was the driver of the truck from M&N Towing Inc Arrived at about 5:30. He first pulled up next to me & got out & looked at the car & took photos. Then he got back in his truck, turned around and drove up to the corner about 60 feet from the car. When he stopped there and started playing out the cable, I asked him why he didn't just stay where he originally was and pull the car at the sideways angle. He then lost his temper and began yelling at me that I was disrespecting him and not to tell him how to do his job. Then he threatened to leave. I calmed him down and then he excused his "hot temper" by blaming it on his heritage of half Palestinian and half Italian. Sure........ Then he pulled out his phone and said "Here, sign this work authorization" Turns out it was a release. Then he put the cable at the shallowest angle instead of the steepest angle and when he began winching the car, it slid down the embankment and into the trees. I yelled for him to stop, but he kept on winching it backwards. I tried to grab the trees to pull them out of the way, but I couldn't. Then he got out, looked at the damage & photographed it, then said"I can't get this out of here, you'll need a wheel lift and dolly truck" & then he took off. So I called roadside again, this time through my insurance company instead of Lexus/AAA The insurance dispatched roadside assistance came with a wheel lift & dolly truck, which also has a winch on it. They looked and used a winch and walked the car sideways up the embankment as I originally had suggested to Tony, with no further damage. M&N are the rudest, most unpleasant, vulgar, and most incompetent is their guy Tony is any representation. read more

I got my car towed today through my insurance company and they said it would be close to a 2 hour wait so I told them it would be fine. After while of waiting they showed up faster than what my insurance company told me it would be which was perfect because I had enough time to get it to my mechanic who was willing to work on my car today even though he closes on Sundays. The guy who towed my car was polite and quick too with getting me to my mechanic shop before he went home for the day. These guys know how to work because while I watched him put my car on his truck he took his time and made sure everything was safe and he double-checked everything before he started driving.
