I went to Maaco because my car (2022 Toyota Corolla) had some scratches on it. The car also had some damage to the back passenger side panel (under the taillight). I had tons of questions, multiple scenarios I wanted quotes for, and then more questions on top of that. Marc (said he was the manager), was so extremely professional and patient with every single question I had (and believe me there were a lot). I got four other quotes before I decided to go with the quote Marc gave me. Along with the promotion that was going on at the time Maaco had given me the best price that had all the options I wanted. The timeframe they gave me for the work needed was extremely reasonable and they beat it by a day or two. When I went to pick up the car, there were several other clients there who were admiring the paint color. Macco was able to color match the vehicle beautifully. The body work was also done very nicely and I was very happy with it. Based on my experience, I would 100% recommend this shop. The entrance and the lobby is very handicapped, friendly. They have handicapped parking right in front. The shop is located in a business center, so there is a lot of business traffic (trucks pulling in and out around the area), but not so much that you are stuck there. read more

Trust the process, that is what I have to tell you about the experience I had with Maaco. They were open to me bringing the car with all the body panels removed so they could paint as much of the body as possible. Then they painted each individual panel and they came out great, I was able to put the car back at my leisure at home. When I first picked up the car, I was not impressed, the paint looked like excess orange peel. I looked online and saw that this is not the paint but the clear coat as it cures. Two months into the paint job, the clear coat has been doing its thing, curing and getting smooth and stretching. I'm quite impressed at the quality of work Maaco completed on my vehicle. It is not perfect, but that is expected from Maaco, it is clearly listed on the estimate and their website. If you want perfection, go somewhere else and pay 5K more. However, the quality of work I got on my 4Runner far exceeded my expectations and I do not have any regrets with getting my vehicle painted at Maaco. read more

Last review for today (this is the most I've ever written in one day). Got my baby painted here and I'm extremely happy w the work they did. The harsh Temecula sun will mess up your paint really badly esp if your car is dark colored. My baby had skin rashes for the longest time, but Maaco did a fantastic job making her look beautiful again... no more skin rashes!! The staff are very good at giving quotes and I got a discount too, I just forgot what for lol but the dude said he'd give me one. "I took my car to MAACO for a full repaint, and it was a complete disaster. I paid $6,000 for the paint job, but it took an extremely long time, and when I got it back, the quality was terrible. There were visible holes, chipped paint, and even scratches on the newly painted surfaces--including the black trim above the roof. Worse, they damaged the electrical components for the trunk and headlights. I reached out to them, but they refused to fix it and wanted to charge me even more. As a veteran of a foreign war, I am sharing my personal experience with this business. The owner represents the company as veteran-owned, which made this experience especially disappointing for us. The primary areas of impact damage on our vehicle were not fully repaired. When we brought this to the owner's attention, we were told additional insurance funds would be needed to complete the work. After the insurance company declined to issue further payment, the remaining work was attempted in a very short period of time. At the time the vehicle was returned to us, the repairs still appeared incomplete, including a tail light that was not properly seated. We also did not receive clear or complete documentation detailing the repairs performed. Had my truck repainted 9 months ago. Color change from navy blue to white. The quality of work compared to the price I paid was absolutely worth it. Yes there are some minor corrections I would take it back to fix if I had the time " Marc the owner let me know they would repair anything I noticed at no charge if I decided to bring it back". Well, now I do not recommend this place. They did not take responsibility for the job they did. They didn't offer me no discount and I would not recommend this place to no one. They did a horrible job. Make sure you do your research. They try to hurry up and speed the process on trying to give you the car and they end up making mistakes. This is the process of you getting your car within one to two weeks. They're very careless and they do not take responsibility for their reactions. When I asked for them to fix the bumper on where they were the gaps, they told me that that was all they can do this type of Mickey Mouse job. Do not go there if you want a Mickey Mouse job. Stopped in and got an estimate seemed like a great deal was Trying to surprise my son for his 16 th B day by painting the truck we just finished building . Dropped the truck off and was told 12-14 business days , after two weeks I stopped in and the truck was painted but they said they had to repaint a fender as it had fish eyes , no problem I waited another week no response so I called and they said the fender didn't match after repaint so they would have to repaint the whole truck . After 1 month I got a call 4:30 pm truck would be ready to pick up May16th after 2:30 pm . May 16th 12pm I called and told manager I could not pick truck up before closing but was Off the 17th and could be there 8 am he responded with I'll have to charge you $100 for overnight storage I said after having my truck two weeks over the expected time of completion he said yes that's our policy you signed the paper .... I said ok I'll be there before closing left work ( lost more then $100 in wages) got a Uber from Menifee to Temecula location and walked around the truck to find the Valance above the bumper below the grill had never been painted , they responded with I can remove it myself and bring it in they'll paint in one day and I can pick it up ( probably wouldn't have been upset other then they tried to charge me $100 for overnight storage for a vehicle that was not completed ) they wanted full payment which I paid knowing I have to remove a body piece and bring back for paint . The paint is orange peel looks good from 10 feet I didn't expect show quality but it looked better the first time I seen it before they had to repaint . They sanded the rocker panels some areas to bare metal and did not spray them with paint I'll include pictures ... for the price I didn't expect a show paint job but expected all panels painted and all areas they sanded I also didn't expect to be threatened with over night storage ($100) charge after they were two weeks past completion and didn't paint all panels . For a 16 year old boy driving to high school it looks good but very rushed and not complete . Also they agreed to remove emblems circled with yellow marker wrote trash removed two left the Third on the tailgate probably took longer to tape off then remove !!! I'm not upset it's what I expected but there communication could be better with update as I had to keep calling and stop by I would have preferred they contacted me with updates rather then me stopping in and calling once a week. read more

absolutely do not use this business! They told us our car would take two weeks and they've had it for weeks! We went and saw it after 3 1/2 weeks when they said it was done and found paint, dripping, areas that were not done correctly and dimples in the body that were not there before. Their communication is terrible and you can't get anyone to call you back. We have even demanded to speak to the manager to no avail. The paint looks good considering the cost. My 1 Star is for the service. Front desk and guy who gave me the estimate was really rude and acted like I was wasting his time. Then after I dropped the truck off and picked it up - I was getting texts from a technician who worked there ?? He got my number from my paperwork I assume. Super shady. And when I told a manager about it who told me he'd call me back after handling it - I never heard back. Wouldn't ever go back or recommend anyone. Terribly unprofessional. No one mentioned it before we took the truck in or after, that every single emblem from the vehicle would be missing too. I called back after I was home and noticed and the guy was super rude about it and said they said they usually break. Would have been nice if I had a heads up on it or they mention it as a possibly before hand. Also, I told the guy the parking break was broken and not to use it and to please let them know. Picked it up, it had the parking brake set and drove home on it (the notification doesn't work showing its on and it gets locked) and I'm sure they drove with it on too. read more

I used this company because I live nearby and wanted a fresh paint on my nissan 370z because the paint in some areas was fading. After being presented with paint choices I chose the more expensive one because it offered better prepping, sanding, etc... And was told that they pay attention to details. I put my trust in them, they said it will take a week to finish because they will apply two coats and also the time it take to prepare the surface. A day and a half I got a call that it's ready, they brought the car out dusty because of the weather they said they'd rather not clean it especially when there's a fresh paint. ( red flag). They asked me not to clean it for a month to make sure the paint has cured. Now that I am beginning to pay attention to washing and Detail it I started noticing the really crappy job this place has done to my beautiful car. Over sprayed everywhere, no sanding whatsoever, car was done in a day and a half instead of a week, they removed the 370z emblem and painted over the leftover adhesive without even sanding it, and they never put the emblem back and had to order new one. The custom detailer Maack provided has been very helpful in fixing the finish, almost flawless now. However, Maaco had the custom color info because they're the ones that painted it at the exact same shop. I wanted the same custom color and got the original OEM color instead. Still dissatisfied with the color but at least the finish is better after using Maaco's recommendation. read more

Wanted to give my 09 Carolla some love after many years of neglect. During the oandemic it was pretty hard to even find a comparison for paint in the Temec Murrieta area. Ended up going with MAACO without getting to compare much. I got a basic overall paint job done and my clearcoat was gone so I had rust all over the top. Overall I am satisfied with the job. It did take a long time to get an appointment and when picking up my car I was forgotten and had to ask for my keys but to me no big deal, they also didnt really clean where they taped off so I had adhesive left over which was a little annoying. There were also couple bubbles on the roof but didnt matter much to me since it was such a small spot. I would just do a thorough check when picking up but price was defenitley fair. read more

This place is the worst in every way. I paid for their top paint job . the most expensive one they had to offer . I regret ever going to them . a little more and I could have gotten a way better job done . only reason I chose them is because they had time to paint my truck . only issue is I had fading , no dents or issues just wanted paint to look fresh . after a week and a half I got my truck back and it was pretty bad. they cut into the plastic on my tailgate, over spray like crazy , everywhere , pitting, missed spots , my plastics painted , my window had clear paint on it and the inside of my truck had sanding residue everywhere. I email the manager with pictures. took a few times and I received one response . I responded back for time and ghosted . so I just showed up , poor customer services . the manager acted like I was wasting his time . The new supervisor went through it all and was shocked at the poor work and asked me to bring it back the next week , so brought it back so they cough fix areas they messed up and repaint . I kept calling and calling and after a month they finally touched my truck by this time the manager was fired . apparentLu kept pushing my Titan off and called it a piece of crap wtf !!! not only did I get it back still with issues my tank was 3 miles to empty !! wtf again , I dropped it off with a little past half full . The quality of work and customer service is unprofessional. We had our vehicle painted there and we had to take it back a second time because there was some smudges ( area non paint) It look like they rushed and didn't care anything about detail. We took it back to correct smudges and they keep it for more days than the first time. However, the inconvenience on trying to plan a drop off and pick up was a challenge. They should have given us a rental the second time because they are the ones who messed up. Ok I let that go! But after receiving our vehicle back we noticed or weather strippings on the roof were gone. So next business day we called and asked about them! Marc (manager) said there were none on the our vehicle when we dropped it off and basically calling us a liar. We emailed pictures to prove it, and nothing was done with no response. We ordered replacement on our own. I would think twice on having them paint your vehicle. Bad customer service and bad quality workmanship. read more

Sent my 07 Yukon XL to get the roof repainted. The paint job is good enough, but the damage they did to my vehicle around the work is absolutely unacceptable. They left the door open and/or the key in the accessory position which drained my battery. I went to start the Yukon, and to my surprise...dead battery. I had to walk back in to request someone to help jump start the battery. Upon further inspection of the vehicle, I found one of my window fairings (plastic cover pieces) broken off, and the other 3 peeling off at the edges. Once in my car, it smelled like cigarette smoke (no one in my family smokes). I can't believe this is how they return a "completed" vehicle back to the customer.
