Save yourself the time, the gas, and the headache. Auto Center Auto Body on Las Haciendas has mastered the rare art of wasting your time while delivering nothing but excuses, attitude, and subpar work. My story with them started in September 2024 when I got my bumper redone. Less than a year later, the paint job they so "professionally" did started bubbling, peeling, and chipping off like a dollar store sticker--eventually exposing a football-sized bare patch. Naturally, I went back to redeem the warranty I was told I had. They acknowledged the issue and claimed it would be covered--but said they'd need my car for weeks. I explained I work and go to school, and asked for a rental. That was shot down immediately. Instead, they offered to order, paint, and install a new bumper--said they'd call me when it was ready. Reasonable? Sure. But what followed was a month of pure, lazy, careless nonsense. I showed up after they said the bumper would be ready--twice. Both times? "We're too busy." The job takes 15 minutes. Four bolts. Four screws. Less time than a bathroom break. Still--"too busy." Today, fed up, I called and said I'd just take the bumper myself. They agreed. I showed up, microfiber towels in hand, prepared to handle the part carefully. That's when Danny (who I assume is a manager, though he carries himself like someone running a chop shop in a Fast & Furious knockoff) greeted me. Before I could even see the bumper, I was asked to sign a paper voiding the warranty for a self-install. Reasonable--but only if I was allowed to inspect the bumper first. After all the waiting, the least they could do is show me what they supposedly finished. They brought it out from the back, and of course, it was being treated like yard waste. I asked Danny what the holdup was, and instead of a straight answer, he questioned why I had waited so long to come in--as if their shoddy work and multiple brush-offs were somehow my fault. When I told him I wasn't comfortable with how the bumper was being handled, he dropped it on the floor next to my car. I explained that I now didn't want it, since the paint could've been compromised. He snapped back that "he sets them down like that all the time"--which really just explains why my first paint job fell apart in the first place. He stormed off, walked around on his phone like a teenager avoiding chores, then came back, placed the bumper on the ground again, and when I said I didn't want it anymore, accused me of damaging it myself. I looked for cameras--none. He laughed. I came to pick up a bumper and left empty-handed after a month of excuses, multiple wasted trips, blatant disrespect, and what can only be described as professional laziness. Bottom line: if you like gaslighting, delays, and dealing with people who treat you like a problem rather than a customer, this is the place for you. For everyone else? Take your business to literally any other shop that knows what professionalism, warranty, and accountability actually mean. read more

Update: recently my driver side headlight went out and when replacing this bulb, it was discovered that the bulb is different than passenger bulb and high beam bulbs. The passenger and high beams were replaced previously with led bulbs that were the same size fitment as the OE bulbs so that the dust caps did not have to be modified. Yes, the different driver side bulb is a led, but the shop cut the OE dust cap to make the bulb fit. I was never informed of this and now I have to buy new dust caps as well. I was never informed of this and when I called to inquire of course nobody has any knowledge of this and state that they would never do anything of the sort. Pictures of the cut dust cap and different bulbs attached. The original bulbs installed are the lighter color and smaller bulbs to replicate the OE bulb size. Communication is almost non existent and when my vehicle was finally returned they had replaced the needed parts with ones that did not match the vehicle and the repaired and painted bumper started to chip. When I called in to inquire as to why the replaced parts did not match the vehicle they tried giving some BS response that they tried calling or the parts are not avail even because the vehicles age. My truck was only a few years old at this time and when I called a few dealerships and other body shops they were able to find OEM replacements that did match. When I went back in for the chipping paint they said they would have to charge me to repaint the entire bumper, and when I asked why when they informed me of a lifetime warranty on all parts and labor they said because I must have hit something because that's what they think it looked like. My father in law had the same issues recently when he used this same faculty for repairs after an accident. I would not recommend this establishment for any repairs. I have still not received a response for the mismatched part on my vehicle. read more

My repairs qualified for Geico's Xpress Guarantee Program, so I'm not sure how much faster that gets your repairs done, but let me tell you, it was QUICK. When I checked in, I was expecting whatever rude receptionist mentioned in other reviews. Instead, I was greeted by a very friendly woman named Erin. She radioed Mike, my mechanic, right away and I got started with my car rental from Enterprise. (Not sure if just a Geico thing, but still nice to have to be able to handle that on the spot immediately). While I was getting my rental, Mike was out front looking up and marking/recording the damage on my personal car. He was just about done when I got my rental. I confirmed a few things with him, got my quote and was on my way off the lot. Check-in to checkout was less than 10 minutes. Not bad! I got multiple calls and texts with updates on the quote and completion date. They even ended up getting it done faster than they quoted. Perfect! Pickup was just as easy and pleasant as drop off. I checked in with Erin and Mike, who i forgot to mention was extremely knowledgeable and professional, pulled my car around right away. I was told the part needed to fix my car was available and did not need to be ordered, and there was staff available to work on my car. I dropped my car off on a Monday and was told a realistic pickup was that Friday. I had not received any updated by Wednesday so called 3 separate times and got the run around. I was given a call on Thursday morning by Joe and was informed my car was being torn down and further damage had been found, requiring a new estimate be sent to insurance. I spoke to insurance and they had not received the new estimate. Insurance also informed me since the original estimate was supposed to be 3 days, my rental car coverage may not be reimbursed through the weekend when I was told by Joe at the earliest my car would be available the following Friday. I took the risk and kept the rental over the weekend, scheduling to return it on Wednesday. By Wednesday, 9 days without my vehicle and 16 days from when I originally was told the shop had the parts and the manpower to fix my car timely, I had not heard from the repair shop with an update. I called again and this time was told it would now be another week for repair, if it was fixed by that time at all. I asked if my car had been worked on at this point or if I could come pick it up. I was told the car had not started to be worked on. So after 16 days of receiving the original estimate and confirming repair could occur promptly, and 9 days of having possession of my car with no progress on my vehicle damage, I now have $500 in expenses towards a rental car that I may not be reimbursed for and retrieved my car to take to a different repair shop.I was lied to on 2 separate occasions, solely to keep my business with this company. I would not recommend this company as they are dishonest and lack integrity. read more

My wife was involved in an accident that involved the drivers side fender, front bumper, and the headlight in our 2004 Ford truck. We took it here because this is who Wawanesa said they used, and would only guarantee the work if it was done here. As you can see from the pictures, nothing is lined up. The headlights lenses are loose, and the bumper appears to be angled downward in the rear. Spoke with the manager Danny and was told they knew about it, but there was nothing that could be done. They only replaced part of the headlight lenses, so now part of it looks brand new, and the other part is cloudy. The plastic on the bottom of the bumper is clearly a tanish-brown color, as can be seen in the picture. All of the other plastics on the truck are dark grey or black. When my wife pointed this out, she was told that she was wrong and that the color of the plastic is correct. Danny also stated that no attempt was made at paint matching the new fender because the hood is faded and it would be too expensive. I told him that insurance would pay for it but was told that they didnt even ask Wawanesa for approval to blend the paint. My other vehicle is 9 years old, and has a Pearl White paint. Wawanesa paid for color blending on that car when it was damaged just last year. I thought that blending was common practice in the industry. I know it is not easy, but thats what body shops do, so I thought. Its bad enough being involved in an accident, especially when it is not your fault, but to receive such half assed work makes it even worse. I understand the truck is 18 years old and will not be perfect, but at least make the effort to make it line up and look decent. The fact that this is the best that can be done according to the manager is pretty sad. I will be working with Wawanesa to get this all fixed properly. Well after being told by my insurance company that this was a on their vendor list I decided I would try them out. I called the shop and they were quick to say, we'll check us out on Yelp. Well here you go Yelp... I drop off my car and after 1 1/2 weeks of not hearing from them, I called them. They apologized and and told me that they were still working with my insurance company on an estimate. 1 1/2 weeks later, I receive a call and I'm given some explanation on what was going on with my car. One explaining that in order to save my insurance money they were using aftermarket parts. Something I was not please with, especially since my car is a 2015. I was given a date of May 13th for a completion date. Well that didn't happen. When I was finally told to pick up my car on May 20th, I show up and one of the parts that needed to be replaced was not. Once again in the holding pattern. I was told that I would be able to pick up the car on the May 24th since the part had to be ordered. I finally picked up the car on May 25th, and I must say yes that the car look good but with all the hassle and lack of communication I am not pleased with their customer service. Yes they apologized, especially when I questioned the added amount I had to pay for "betterment" for the tires replaced. I guess they forgot to tell me about that when they gave me the estimate. It would have been nice if that would have been explained when I was given the estimate. Luckily I the looked over my car and noticed the unrepaired part when I was originally told my car was ready. Be careful and exam your vehicles before driving home. For a car being serviceed since April 27 when it was dropped off, I didn't receive any status updates on my car while my car was being serviced. Oh and get this, two of my wheels were replaced, well one wheel was leaking air since they did not properly tighten the air valve stem. The tire was at 20 lbs. Ask questions, especially for added fees which insurance companies don't pay. And definitely don't sign anything until you see your car and make sure all quoted services were performed. As on October 20, 2016 my aftermarket side marker lights keep popping off the side bumper. I have to keep my eye on them to make sure they are not lost while I'm driving. read more

Since our car is a 2015 we decided to take it in to the shop. Explained we were paying out of pocket and a repeat customer.....that doesn't sound too good does it...repeat customers at a body shop. They gave me a great price and as b4 washed it up real nice and was ready when we arrived. These guys are pros and I highly recommend them. I suppose I lucked out in that I didn't have to pay more than my $300 deductible (thanks Wawanesa!), but even so, I had a great experience. My accident happened at the end of May 2008. A few days later I took my car in for a look over, they gave me a quote and submitted it to my insurance company. Wawanesa sent me a check within a week (again, kudos). I then proceeded to lose the check. For months. Since then, I'd duct taped the lose pieces on the front of the car so they wouldn't flap around because I'm oh so ghetto like that. It was brown, on a black car, to boot. Yup, I'm that good. Anyhow, a few weeks ago I find the check, woo hoo!! After a phone call to my insurance company and then the Auto Center to verify I could still take it in, I was off. The original time quote was two to three weeks. I picked it up a day after two weeks and that with additional time for a part originally not needed. The whole office was friendly, the mechanic Raul very nice and helpful over the phone when I had questions, and they didn't even laugh in my face when I had to pick up my cell phone I'd left in the car over the weekend. Oh, and they touched up the lines on my driver side door that weren't even caused by the accident. Sweeet! My car is looking all brand new and perky again...definitely a good thing. read more

After an accident I needed to have some body work done to my 2010 Ford Fusion. If you can, talk to Raul. He was VERY helpful, respectful, and was great at explaining the damage in a way I would understand. He also handled all communication with my insurance, and I did not have any issues at all with payment because they took my insurance check and when the repair amount exceeded the check they handled it for me with no problem. They also work with insurance to handle rental car services on site (if this is covered under your policy), though I cannot comment on this because I did not utilize this service. My husband then took his car in to have some minor work in (he drives a Mitsubishi Eclipse) and when Raul thought another shop might be able to fix some interior stuff cheaper, he was honest and referred us to them. If you need auto body work done (especially if you are working with an insurance company) go to this shop, and ask for Raul. read more
