They have all the basics, sure, but really shine with some local and specialty goods. Roth's is my source for Roelli's Red Rock Cheese (an ultra-creamy bleu cheddar that is divine paired with fruit and nut crisps), local SCL's Muruku noodles, and locally grown cut flowers. They are the most prolific purveyor of nicer cheese that I have found in Mcminnville, and though space dedicated to wine is in no shortage at most grocers in the area, Roth's is pleasantly displayed and fun to shop. They have some houseplants and gifts, a decent bakery and deli, a rather large produce and bulk selection, and even offer sushi. Customer service is top priority and it shows - waits in line are never long, and every employee is agreeable and friendly. They have glass and aluminum recycling out front. Selection is limited for some items, notably pharmacy and bath and body, but that is probably not what you're shopping for here anyway. Prices can be a smidge high, but they also have good sales, and overall, it is a good choice for groceries, especially if you are seeking local products or avoiding support of larger chains.

I am writing to formally report an extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience I had at the…read moreTaco Bell location in McMinnville while working as a DoorDash driver. On the evening of my visit, the lobby was closed, so I entered the drive-thru to pick up three DoorDash orders. When I reached the speaker, I clearly stated that I was there to pick up three separate orders. The employee informed me that they could only release two orders per vehicle and instructed me to go through the drive-thru again to retrieve the third order. Although this policy was inconvenient--especially given that the drive-thru line was very busy--I complied without argument. After receiving the first two orders, I re-entered the long drive-thru line as directed. Because the employee at the window specifically told me to "come back to the window" for the third order, I did not stop again at the speaker and instead proceeded directly to the window. When I arrived at the window, I was then told that since I had not stopped at the speaker, I would need to go back around yet again and stop at the speaker before they could hand me the third order. This was contradictory to the instructions I had previously been given. What made this situation especially unacceptable was the behavior of the staff. Throughout the interaction, employees were laughing and mocking me while I was simply trying to do my job. As a DoorDash driver, I rely on restaurants to communicate clearly and treat drivers with professionalism and respect. Instead, I was treated dismissively and made to feel embarrassed for following the instructions that were given to me. This situation caused unnecessary delays, impacted my delivery times, and ultimately affected my ability to provide good service to customers. Policies--if they exist regarding order limits per vehicle--should be clearly communicated and applied consistently. Additionally, employees should never mock or laugh at someone who is simply following directions and attempting to do their job. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed and that staff receive proper training regarding professional conduct and consistent communication with delivery drivers. DoorDash drivers represent paying customers, and we deserve to be treated with respect.

I then sat down and waited exactly 19 minutes and they called her name, I went up to get the order and a lady not the guy who I spoke to at first that takes orders confirmed my girlfriends name and she said ok I need to see your order on your app. I said my girlfriend's name is home with the kids and she did the order she said she needs to see it first to give me our order. She turned around and walked away without saying anything else. I said out loud since no one was there speaking to me any longer that we will cancel the order and I left and we went somewhere else. What an incredible waste of time and terrible experience. I couldn't be paid to eat there again. If I could give zero stars I would.
