QUICK FOLLOW-UP: A salesman reach out to me to try to sell me a new Lincoln. I explained that it was incredibly unlikely that I would do business with his dealership, due to the absolute lack of customer service after the sale. About an hour later, I got a call from the sevice department to schedule my oil change, with them agreeing to come get the vehicle, perform the service, and return it, as they had done in the past. We made the appointment. The day of the appointment comes and goes woth nary a word from the dealership. So basically, the temporarily stopped ignoring me long enough to make an appointment, so they could continue to ignore me. What a Joke! This area is literally 0/2 for a quality dealership representing Ford Motor Company Obviously Enshittification has taken strong hold here at Mac Haik. The decision to make a useless AI interface the first point of contact for customer service was astoundingly stupid. I spent thirty minutes in a labyrinth of AI idiocy trying to schedule an oil change for my Lincon, left two messages and have still haven't heard from a human or scheduled an oil change. Yet my inbox is bombarded with offers to sell me a new $100k car. This place was once easy to deal with and offered me excellent customer service. Sorry, this is long winded. I've been a loyal customer to Mac Haik Georgetown Texas since 2021. As a matter of fact I only take my Power stroke diesel F250 to Mac Haik since I purchased it. Today, I made an appointment at the quick lane for a recall, the young lady was very nice, no issue. I also explain my rear camera was malfunctioning & was a safety issue. She said they w do a diagnostic and charge $250.00. So they know it's the rear camera, and w charge $250 and what ever the cost to repair. I called the general manger, Milo Reyna & pretty much got the same and the "everybody charges for diagnostics" answer, no real options offered, like a script, got the impression he could care less. So being a loyal customer counted for nothing. I contacted Ford in Michigan, they told me to hang on to a receipt in case of a recall. Since they don't know me or have records of my past services for my vehicle you can't judge me by making a comment that I don't take care of my vehicle!!! I regret purchasing my 2018 Chevy Colorado from Mac Haik. Just three months after buying the vehicle, I had a multi-point inspection done at Capitol Chevrolet, which uncovered seven issues--including a major engine oil leak with a repair estimate exceeding $5,000. At the time of purchase, I also bought a $4,000 extended warranty through Mac Haik and was told it would cover "anything that touched oil." However, after the oil leak was diagnosed, the warranty company inspected the vehicle and denied the claim, stating the issue existed prior to my ownership. This raises serious concerns--either the vehicle was not properly inspected before being sold, or significant issues were overlooked. I returned to Mac Haik hoping they would stand behind the vehicle and help resolve the problem, but they declined to take any responsibility. read more

Would not come back here. We had a very uncomfortable conversation with Lucia about buying an F150 Tremor. She didn't seem knowledgeable about the vehicle, but also got very rude when we weren't sold immediately on the 1 option she had available on the lot. We wanted to test drive a Tremor, which she was helpful in facilitating, but when we mentioned after the test drive we preferred one with a sun roof, she got very upset and lectured us that we already found our "dream truck" (that we had test driven), and now we were asking her to "start over our search." She then went on to say we didn't need a sun roof and to "just roll down the windows"? You would think for a $70k-$80k vehicle, you could be picky about what features you want to pay for? Very unprofessional and not a pleasant experience overall. We'll be happy to purchase this truck elsewhere WITH our stupid sun roof. read more

I just wanted to share a brief review for John Abbatacola from Mac Haik Ford Georgetown. I had an engine blow on my Suburban on a Fri and called John wanting to come in on Saturday. I told him I really wanted a new Bronco in Robins Egg Blue not knowing it was the hardest SUV to get in the country! They didn't have any on the lot and didn't expect any in until next year so I started thinking about other colors....Instead of steering me to something else they had on the lot, John went to work searching for the car I really wanted. He said, "let's not give up yet, let's go for the touchdown first" he ended up finding a car at a different dealer, but it involved transferring the car, making a difficult trade with the other dealer and this was a very sought after vehicle. He put me in a brand new Bronco loaner over the weekend and told me he would let me know on Monday if they were able to secure the transfer. Bada-Boom-Bada-Bing-Abbatacola got it done! John was so easy to work with, he got on the paperwork done quickly, helped set up the electronics and explained all the features of the car so we understood everything before driving away. This was my second oil change overall, but my first visit to Mac Haik Ford, on a new Ford F-150 with about 15,000 miles. The first oil change elsewhere went smoothly. After this visit, I found oil on my driveway the next day, creating a mess and requiring me to return and wait again for it to be corrected. I can't say whether any damage occurred, but an oil leak after a basic oil change introduces unnecessary risk and uncertainty on a new engine. An oil change is a fundamental service and a reasonable litmus test for a service department. Based on this first experience, I would not recommend bringing a vehicle here for service. read more

This place is such a mixed bag of customer service. If you like playing roulette & enjoy being talked to in a condescending manner then you might be ok. I came in for an oil change 2 weeks ago and witnessed Chad talking to an older man like he was an idiot. The man had waited 2 hours only to learn that he needed to leave his car for a few days & per Chad , he "should have known it was a big job". Chad proceeded to talk to him in a rude manner & offered no real solution. Then when the guy walked away he rolled his eyes and made faces to his coworkers. When I checked out I suggested he shouldn't do that in front of a lobby full of guests that can see it. Today I'm back here for a scheduled appointment for new tires. I was told over the phone it would take 1.5-2 hours. I get here and tell Chad I have an appointment for tires today. He rolled his eyes again and said "for new tires, a rotation, or what?". I assume it was because I didn't specify but either way it was rude. I replied I have an appointment for new tires. He replied "I hope you aren't in hurry. There's no way it's happening today. ". I explained I had spoken with Cody & had an appointment. Chad replied he had to go see if that's what Cody said and walked away. Again, rude. Why would he have to verify with his coworker if I'm telling the truth or not. There's a way to do that without being rude to the PAYING customer. Meanwhile he never even asked my name to look in the system to confirm my appointment. Cody came out and confirmed I did have an appointment and they'd take care of my car. Cody btw is super friendly & professional . He is the only reason I didn't just walk out. Chad came out to the lobby and said "I apologize if you thought I was being rude" . Which wasn't really an apology at all. Clearly I thought that. I stated it to him. This guy might be knowledgeable at some things and add value to Mac Haik but I'm not sure how. His arrogance & complete demeanor is awful. Customer service not his strong suit. You will continue to lose customers with people like Chad representing you. And/Or chase off good employees like Cody because they have to work with people like this. read more

We really liked the vehicle, and the sales team had treated us well so we decided to return to Mac Haik and trade our 6 year old vehicle for a new one. I walked in and met Steven Meinken in the Sales Department and he knocked it out of the park.We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with him. From the moment I arrived, he was attentive, respectful, and thorough in addressing my interests without any of the high-pressure sales tactics exhibited by some salesmen. He was honest and straightforward, knew the on hand inventory, and was very knowledgeable about the Navigator (which was my primary interest). He took the time to explain all the features, options, and packages. He then patiently allowed me to test drive an Aviator for comparison purposes. While It is a great vehicle, I wanted the extra size, space and power of the new Navigator L. Steve went above and beyond to find and secure the vehicle we wanted. The rest of the purchase process was transparent. The pricing was clear with no hidden fees. Steve and the Mac Haik management team made me feel valued as a customer. I highly recommend asking for Steve Meinken if you want a no-pressure, seamless and professional car-buying experience. ZERO PERCENT RECOMMEND. i got my navigator (BRAND NEW FOR 113 THOUSAND) not even a year ago (february 2025) and have been getting the absolute run around. my car was supposed to come with all weather mats (literally was on the sticker) and my plates mounted ine front and i've yet to receive the mats 10 months later neither have me plates been mounted after asking no less than a dozen times. i brought my car in for an oil change a few months ago and to repair a few things (like my AC randomly goes in and out and my breaks are squeaking..again MONTHS after buying a six figure car). ive gotten the absolute run around and have had the worst experience and after my car was there for 6+ hours later saying it would only been two-three, nothing was done to it except an oil change. i have every thing in writing including empty promises and detailed photos. honestly, literally go ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

I recently had my Ford-F150 serviced here, and I have to say I am impressed with the articulation, due diligence, and cordial mannerism of my service advisor Tim. He was able to get my truck back to me in a timely manner even with all the hoops the warranty company had us do to get any dollar amount from them. This is a review based on interacting with my service advisor Shawn Grant. I had a factory issue with my F150 where the headrest speakers would produce a continuous high frequency, low volume buzz. It's gotta be one of the worst type of issues to take your vehicle in for, as the service environment is always busy and loud, so the first reaction of any service department would just be "I can't hear any buzz, no issue, go home". I'm so glad Shawn was my service advisor because he really went above and beyond. Even though Shawn couldn't hear the noise himself, he sought out the input of a technician that could and made sure my truck was repaired properly. With the long queue of cars waiting for service it would have been easy for Shawn to dismiss my concerns and send me home, but he put in the extra effort and helped me fix an issue that had been annoying me for months before I took it in. March of 2025, I made what I thought was a careful, responsible decision. I purchased a truck from Mac Haik Ford with 143,000 miles, working with Steven Meinke. I knew the mileage was high, which is exactly why I spent extra money on their extended warranty. I was told over and over that this warranty would give me peace of mind, that it would protect me if anything went wrong. That promise was the ONLY reason I felt comfortable signing the paperwork. And yet the second the ink dried, Steven was non-existent. Completely vanished. No follow-up, no support, no accountability. The moment he got his commission, I stopped existing to him. That should have been my first warning sign. Not long after, the check engine light came on, throwing multiple codes. I turned back to the dealership--the same people who swore they would take care of me--and was met with indifference, arrogance, and outright disrespect. Olga in finance actually had the audacity to say to me: "It's not my fault you bought a truck with that many miles." That statement wasn't just dismissive--it was cruel. It showed me exactly how little Mac Haik Ford cares about the customers who keep them in business. And when I pushed for help, Olga ended the conversation by saying: "At this point I'm done with our conversation. That's no way to speak to anyone. You are more than welcome to cancel the warranty when you come in tomorrow. All the best!" The smugness in that response was infuriating. That is NOT how a professional speaks to a paying customer--it's how someone speaks when they've already decided you don't matter. Then there's Tim in the service department. He promised me a return phone call. Guess what? He never called. Not once. No updates, no courtesy, no effort. Just another broken promise. If a dealership can't even manage the basic decency of returning a phone call, what does that tell you about the way they do business? And the warranty? Absolutely worthless. Every attempt I made to use it was met with excuses and roadblocks. They sold me a piece of paper, called it "peace of mind," and then laughed in my face when I actually needed it. It was nothing but a scam--false security sold at a premium. When I tried to escalate? Surprise--the GM was conveniently "on vacation." What an easy way to avoid responsibility while customers are left stranded, furious, and disrespected. Here's the part that makes this even worse: I know this business. One of my first jobs was selling cars. I know the tactics. I know the promises. I know when a dealership makes a mistake versus when they deliberately run a scam. And make no mistake--what Mac Haik Ford did to me wasn't an accident. It was calculated neglect, pure and simple. This entire experience has been humiliating, infuriating, and eye-opening. I walked in as a serious buyer, willing to spend thousands of dollars, and I walked out with nothing but frustration, disrespect, and a worthless warranty they had the nerve to sell me. Mac Haik Ford should be ashamed. They broke their promises, they disrespected me, and they treated me like garbage the second they had my money. If you are considering buying here--DON'T. Don't let Steven in sales vanish on you. Don't let Olga in finance belittle you. Don't let Tim in service ignore you. Don't put yourself through what I went through. Because once you sign, you don't matter. Period. This was, without question, the WORST dealership experience of my life. And I will not stay quiet about it. Had the absolute worst experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Husband and I purchased a truck from Mac Haik, however there was an issue with the wheel the night we test drove and bought it, and after loan closing our truck remained at the dealership to be fixed. Not only did the pre-owned sales manager share a screen shot with my husband of a conversation he had with a vender referencing my husband where he discusses "shutting this guy up" after an incident that took way longer to fix than initially promised by Mac Haik. The general manager, was complacent not only about the disrespectful customer service but also in making an agreement of assurance to the work done from the issue that took a week to be fixed. It took awhile but we got it. Additionally I feel this company may be sexist. I called and sent a text to the pre-owned sales manager, called the general manager and left messages with my contact information, I never got a call back. I emailed the finance manager when it was getting very close to the 20 day pay off date and our auto payment was due , to which I never got a response. I've been using Mac Haik to service my Ford for the last 3 years. I usually call in and schedule an appointment. Today, I used the Quick Lane. They open up on Saturday at 7 a.m. on a first come, first service. I arrived at 630 a.m., and 2 people were already there. I had a nice chat as another 7 or 8 people showed up. The doors opened promptly at 7. Mac Haik had 4 clerks available to accept your vehicles. They told me it would take about an hour to an hour and a half. The actual time was 1 hour 40 minutes. You have a choice to wait or come back. I, as well as most others, decided to wait. The waiting area had comfortable chairs and 2 TVs for your wait. There is a free coffee bar and bathrooms for your use. The clerk was friendly and knowledgeable of the issues with your car. The clerks were both male and female. Therefore, I know some of my female friends are intimidated by servicing their cars. Although there were mostly men there, there were women too, so please don't feel intimidated to take care of your car. I would recommend the Mac Haik service department to my children and friends. So if you have a Ford, don't hesitate to use Mac Haik to service your car! read more

I tried to save time and money and went to another dealer that was not Mac Haik in Austin...BIG MISTAKE. I realized that if I wanted my issues (it became ISSUES) resolved, I needed to go to Mac Haik! They were able to resolve my recall concern and did not charge me a penny (unlike the other unethical business tried to), did a full synthetic oil change, and replaced my battery which is under their warranty. Service is too bad Took my 2020 ford explorer with 28k miles on it with charging system soon message on the display. Called the dealer the person on the phone said there is wait for 3 weeks for electrical issues told me to try some other nearby dealers i insisted and got connected to a service advisor Mr Philips he was really good guy and gave me the same day appointment gave me a ride back home. Got a call that the battery needs charge and there is a small charge I agreed to it. It was almost $500 for charging the battery of less than 30k miles it took 2 hours and there was some factory recall On the day of pickup I made the payment and started the car boom the charging system light is still on really did you even do any thing. Mechanic was called and waited for 2 hours the issue was the fuse is bad needs replacement. Was that not the issue? Did you have to charge $500 for charging the battery? I wanted to see the fuse and to my surprise it was never changed at first place. Pic attached While waiting in the lobby I got a call from ford mobile mechanic that I was scheduled for some recall and they are visiting my area as they have another appointment and will be at my home between 11.30 and 12 the next day. I requested some other day he said he was visiting my area so prefer the day. Took off from work waited 11.45 no one 12.00 nobody 12.30 nobody 1.30 nobody vow now i am frustrated called the mobile department. He told me the appointment was cancelled and I was supposed to get a call from the dealership the morning of the day. 20 minute later almost 2.00 pm gets a call that the appointment was cancelled. Man you charge $205 per hours at your shop we lost our working day. Who is going to pay for the loss? I am offered a free car wash the next time I visit. lol read more

Patrick went inside to get a key to open up a truck. A few minutes later another salesman comes out asking what I'm looking for in a truck. I ask about Patrick and that he was going in to get a key. The guy informed me that Patrick is with another customer and if I'd like to come back Monday they could show me some f250's They just missed an opportunity to gain a new potential customer read more
