I bought a MacBook Air back in November and my experience was excellent and far exceeded my expectations.! There was some subsequent confusion (my fault) on the login password which they caught moments after I had left the store and which they cleared up both patiently and efficiently. Today, I brought the same computer in because of an issue with the trackpad. No doubt a result of something I did. They welcomed me at the door, ook a look at it and fixed it on the spot. This is not the kind of service I'm accustomed to when having to deal with anything computer related. I took my MacBook Pro in over the weekend and Ray got my model running like brand new. He was able to tell what the issue was after my explanation over the phone but he still did a free diagnostics to insure there was no problem beyond his assessment or if the issue wasn't what he originally thought. I have work and school to juggle throughout my week and especially more now than ever my computer is the most important tool to stay on top of everything. My 3-year-old iMac was behaving very badly (very slow, software crashing and/or requiring Force Quit, machine shutting down randomly), and I thought I'd have to buy a replacement. But before doing so I contacted Ray and described my iMac's problems. He said it sounded like I needed a new hard drive, but to bring it in for a free diagnosis. I brought my computer to the shop on a Thursday afternoon. On Friday afternoon Ray called me and said I did indeed need a new hard drive, and told me how much it would cost. On Monday afternoon the computer was ready to pick up. When he demonstrated it for me at the shop, I could see it was working properly, and all my data was in place right where it should be. Even my desktop looked exactly the same. My computer has been working great, like new, ever since I got it home. The new hard drive (labor, parts, data transfer) cost me only 40% of what a new iMac would have cost, and getting it repaired involved much less hassle than getting a new computer during a pandemic. The repair is okay. The customer service is horrible. I called them and asked if they can do same day repair and they said yes most of their customers do same day repair. When I arrived, first of all, their parking sucks. I went in and handed over the laptops and the person told me to wait for them to call. And it will take couple days for them to fix it. First week, nothing. Second week I called them and they said it will be ready soon. What the hell? read more

Tried to "play hardball" on a trade-in. I brought in my 2012 Macbook Pro and told the owner, Ray, I was looking to trade it in and buy a newer laptop from him, and the first thing he said was, "How much do you want for it?" (First warning bell.) I countered with, "What do you usually offer?" His response: "Well, we don't want this." (Second warning bell.) I said, Okay, and started to put the computer back in my bag and he said, "What are you doing?" I replied, "You just told me you don't want it." His reply: "Well, it'll depend on what you want to buy." (Third and final warning bell.) Translation: I want to pay next to nothing for your computer while trying to convince you I'm giving you a deal. Pass. I'll take the $2000-plus I was going to spend and give it to someone who doesn't take his playbook from used car dealers. read more

These guys were so reassuring and helpful. I rely on my laptop for survival and would have done anything to have it working. They calmly told me I had a great machine and replaced the battery in one day at a reasonable rate. This is a place I'll keep coming back to for service and future purchases too. UPDATE: My second time here. My laptop crashed while installing Sierra and they retrieved my data, installed the OS, found crucial files and loaned me a machine to work on for a few days, all for what was a very reasonable rate. Losing my means of making money at the worst time of year doesn't bring out the best in me, but they were so understanding. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Third visit. My screen stopped working and rather than charging me to repair they told me that it was caused by an apple recall and sent me off to have it handled free of charge elsewhere while moving my HDD into a rental machine. I unfortunately broke the display on my 2020 13-inch Macbook Pro and was extremely concerned that I would not be able to fix it. Given the fact that this computer recently released, many places around my home did not have the appropriate parts to fix my display. Absolutely amazing experience. I have a brand new 2020 MacBook Pro and I had damaged underneath the screen. I searched everywhere but no one could help since it was a brand new model and Apple wanted to keep my computer for severally weeks. I called MacPro-LA around 10 am and Ray told me it would be no problem, to come by and drop it off and it will be ready by the end of the day.
