Got my three dozens today. They are soooooo delicious, definitely the best macarons that I have had in a long time. Will for sure come back and get more! Thank you Agatha :)

I don't know why I haven't reviewed before, but I've been a customer of Macarons by Agatha for 4 years now, since 2020. I ordered incredibly cute woodland animal macarons from her for my bff's baby shower. They were a hit! Then, I bought ones to ask the bff to be my maid of honor for my wedding. Then, when I was planning my own baby shower, Agatha was the first person I thought of for party favors. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my party due to the Delta variant. I still wanted to give some out to my dearest friends and family so she was very flexible and we pared down the order. Now, this past weekend, Agatha made the macarons for my sweet baby's 2nd birthday! She absolutely knocked it out of the park with car shaped macarons for a car-themed party. It was a hit!! She always delivers on my requests and is very flexible and communicates well. Attention to detail and creative and yummy flavors. Highly highly highly recommend.

Holiday special! Red velvet, choco caramel toffee, peppermint, gingerbread, salted caramel, apple pie

If there's one food I've been missing out on during this pandemic, it's French macarons. Not macaroons, which are typical coconut cookies, but dainty, fragile, soft n crispy shells sandwiched together with silky or thick creams in the middle. French, Italian, take your pick! Never actually had the Italian method though. My favorite Palo Alto/SF based macaron shop, Chantal Guillon, closed down permanently a few months ago. So many fond memories in downtown PA ... now where do I go for these Parisian treats?? I'd been eyeing ValDa Bakery on IG for her intensely colorful shells but she's from Minnesota and doesn't ship. She recommend Agatha who is local in the South Bay! Missed out on the sold out Thanksgiving boxes so I made sure to watch for the Christmas box. I emailed/DM'd and checked for the preorder form on IG. Agatha bakes only part time so there were two pick up days: 12/19 & 23. I went for a full dozen ($32) two days before Christmas! Holiday Flavors: Santa- Red Velvet Swirl- Peppermint Present- Apple Pie Green Lights- Salted Caramel Snowflake- Gingerbread Brown- Chocolate Caramel Toffee Beautifully hand decorated using airbrush and she creates her own stencils via Cricut. Each macaron had a crisp edged shell with a chewy soft center. My favorite was peppermint-- thick minty chocolate cream! The cream cheese filling in the red velvet had a delightful salty factor I wasn't expecting. My sis who normally only likes Ladurée enjoyed the chocolate caramel toffee, nice thick bite to it. Gingerbread is perfect for the holidays and this one wasn't overly done with spices, just right. I can't get over all the lights detailing-- so cute! Salted caramel was yummy. Apple pie essence infused into cream rounded out the box. Didn't realize only the top layer of macarons had designs, but the plain ones are gorgeous as well! Agatha offers many macaron flavors for any occasion. Check out her website. She can work with you on flavors per preordered dozen, normally up to two. Sky's the limit when it comes to design customization! Thank you, Agatha, for these wonderful treats. Happy Holidays and I look forward to ordering from you again.

    Groovy themed macarons

The good: I got customized macarons for my daughter's One Groovy Baby-themed first birthday party. Agatha did an amazing job. The macarons were so uniform and perfect. The texture of the cookie was chewy and just right. It tasted fresh. The cream was also nice and light. I got 5 dozen macarons for $180 in the following flavors: watermelon, pineapple, passion fruit, guava, and key lime. I liked all of the fruit flavor options that fit with the summer theme. She needed little direction about design and did all of the suggested design styles I asked for (One, Volkswagen van, peace signs, happy face). Agatha's macarons were much more affordable and prettier than the other option I was considering (that I had purchased for my wedding). Agatha was responsive and easy to work with. I definitely plan to order from her again. I've made macarons before so I know just how much time and work it takes to execute these! I loved that the "One" font was in theme with the 70s-style The bad: I didn't get to try all of the flavors because my guests ate them all before I could! It would've been cool if some of them were differently shaped rather than a round shape with a stamp but overall I was super happy! The interesting: She also offers delivery! It would've been $40 from Santa Clara to south San Jose had I chosen to get mine delivered. You need one dozen minimum for each flavor.

The BEST macarons you'll ever eat! Not even exaggerating. I'm so happy I ordered macarons from Agatha. Not only were they beautiful, but they were also delicious and perfect. My sister is a macaron connoisseur and she says they are the best she's ever had. They were soft when you bite into them, and they stayed that way the following day. No crumbly crust. The flavors were yummy. I got so many compliments about them.

Not only were they beautiful, but so so so delicious! I cannot say enough good things, Agatha was so easy to work with and created little masterpieces. Thank you than

Been sampled a few places since February, and because we had a Totoro theme for my son's 1st birthday, and after those trials that the character theme wasn't too satisfied from others, we decided to give Agatha a try although we never ordered macarons from her yet her character macaron looks awesome. We know we have made the right decision when we received the macarons this morning, and OMG, texture of those macarons were so perfect, that everyone loves (from parents, in law, siblings, husband and I)!! We ordered 5 character theme with 1 flavor each (to our surprised it sounded like Agatha never heard of Totoro as an Asian, yet she still did an awesome job with just the pictures references I got for her). Gray Totoro - Coffee Nutella Blue Totoro - Lavender Honey White Totoro - Lemon Soot Spirit (Black ball) - Earl Grey Cat Bus - Red Velvet They all tasted awesome and my personal favorite is the coffee nutella as it were strong with the taste of nutella, though would prefer there's stronger taste of the Lavender and Earl Grey, yet overall everyone loves it because its mild chewy texture is soooooooo perfect, and it wasn't overly packed with sugar like most of the stores/sweet shops. Even just for the pictures these bombshells worth EVERY PENNY!!

Agatha's macarons are superb! They are beautiful, delicious, and close by to Milpitas and surrounding areas! Best of all, they were also available for individual purchase and at some local cafes** around Santa Clara County! Perfect if you want to try a flavor (or three, like I did last year). Just know you may very well get addicted, like I have! I would also highly recommend following her on Instagram so that you know when she will sell extras (awesome way to get a variety pack BUT THEY SELL OUT VERY QUICKLY) and also special occasion boxes. I will definitely put in orders for special occasions in the future! **Note: Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, please refer to baker for locations that may be selling her macarons at this time. ---------------- Below is the flavors I have tried and comments I have about them: Taro (My favorite) Earl Grey (My favorite) Pistachio (Yummy! Family favorite) Salted Caramel (Delicious! Husband's favorite) Vanilla Bean (who knew vanilla would be so good!) Red Velvet Raspberry Rose Mango Thai Tea (thought it needed a little more strength in flavor, but still good) Coffee Nutella. I am not a fan of Nutella, but if you are you should try it because my husband loved it Strawberry Cheesecake I am not a fan of cheesecake again, the husband really liked it. As you can see, if all the flavors we tried, you can't go wrong with any of the flavor choices! It came down to personal preference, but the quality of the macarons made by Agatha are enjoyable by the whole family.

Agatha did an AMAZING job on this cake and macaron tower. Couldn't have been any happier with her creation. Great communication and seamless ordering process. I'll definitely come back when I need another one of these done for a future event.

I have been ordering from Agatha since December 2018. I found her through Instagram. (I wish I found her sooner!) I'm not sure how long she's been baking but you can tell she's had practice! Let me tell y'all, her designs are always up to my standards when I order custom macs! I send her a picture or describe what Im looking for and she executes it just how I pictured it. Her seasonal/holiday boxes are to die for! Perfect for a gift! Her attention detail Flavors are extremely delicious and not so sweet. I've had my fair share of Macarons from different bakers (homemade and store bought) so I'm pretty familiar of how it should look and taste(I wish I could be a macaron critic as a profession lol). Her shells are never hallow and I'd say there's a perfect amount of filling to cookie ratio. She has a wide variety of flavors. She's pretty Instagram famous so you can tell that she has tons of satisfied costumers! Also, she made my sisters 17th birthday cake! I also believe she sells her Macarons from a cafe in San Jose. Besides her business, she is such a sweetheart!! 10/10 recommend Macarons by Agatha!

Ordered custom cloud shaped macarons for a bachelorette. It was exactly what I wanted! Got the pistachio flavor and it was not too sweet. My favorite place to get a treat to gift!

When we've brought it to social gatherings in the past, it's also always a hit. Their other desserts, like their lemon bars, french napoleon, and turtle cheesecake, are also major hits. So when it was time for my wedding, I knew I had to get my cake from them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer cake tasting boxes that include their most popular flavors. However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I am truly still SHOCKED at how beautiful the cake was and how it matched the inspo photo perfectly. It was a showstopper and extremely delicious. See the photo for details! It was covered in chocolate and filled with custard, and it was just the right sweetness and not too sweet. The size was pleasing, and the custard filling was good. The cake was not enjoyable; to be fair, this might or might not be due to personal taste. It was a 3-layer vanilla cake filled with lemon mousse, covered in buttercream and white chocolate bark pieces, and topped with 10 blueberries. This flavor can be found on their website catalog. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.

I will say that walking in the space is elegant is the word I would like to use but also inviting with the little extras that they do at the table with the fresh flowers the soft chairs the colorful decor that surrounds it. Also the two individuals behind the counter that were taking orders and packaging things were just a delight. Both of them greeted us with a smile and they asked us if it was our first time to the shop and we told them yes and so they walked us through some of the more popular items and how are things were broken down and that was very much appreciated cuz there are many many options in front of you in unless you know exactly what you want you can be looking at everything for a couple of minutes before you decide on even one thing. We ended up getting a regular latte and a rose latte for our drinks. And then as a little delicious taste of something we got the chocolate croissant and the almond croissant. I am going to comment on my rose latte first that thing was beautifully made because though it was sweet but in a way that wasn't overpowering because you could still taste a little bit of the caffeine the creaminess of the milk that was used and the espresso it was like a hint in the background so a little call out there if you're someone that really wants to taste their coffee this wasn't the jam for you and that's okay my husband got the regular latte with steamed milk and I tasted his and that was like coffee in your face so you can always go for a solid twist like that. And to clarify his latte was also very good because it just tasted so fresh and of high quality. Now for the pastries. They were stupendous because they had the right amount of flakiness but softness. They also were buttery but not overly so were like major hands feel greasy it was so savory both of them which is interesting because the fillings one was chocolate one was almond I would have thought that both of them would have had an overpowering sweetness to them. We will say that we both liked the almond croissant more not that the chocolate one wasn't just as good. The almond had a little bit of a 1up because I don't know how to explain it it's almost like it had a almond crumble at the top so you bit into the pastry which was fluffy but you had the crunch on the top then you had a little bit of the almond filling and then you had the butter and like the soft but almost chewiness of the inside of the layers just stupendous all of that together was great. If we end up ever being in that area again will definitely want to go back to try the rest of the stuff they had because I want to know how everything else takes especially those beautiful cakes that were just art themselves
