I brought my Macbook Pro in to get it cleaned today, and Madhur quoted me at such an awesome price. He also promised same day pickup; something no one around offered. After leaving the store, he immediately reached out and told me that there was a larger issue with my battery. It was damaged and dangerously expanding from the bottom of my computer. Obviously something I didn't want to hear, especially knowing how much I rely on that computer for work. Really great shop. Very honest. I had a 2016 Macbook that just died and wouldn't charge or turn on or show any signs of life. Apple wanted to charge me over $600 just to look at it, and another shop (not Apple, but Apple certified) wanted almost as much. I took it to MacHorizon and told them I'd only paid $750 for it, and they diagnosed it for only $39. It unfortunately still would have cost over $500 to fix (logic board fried), but them telling me honestly what was wrong, and me having a choice not to fix it was the most reasonable resolution. I'd definitely take any Mac product to these guys instead of Apple or any other nearby shop. read more

I think it's been more then ten years I've been going to Mac Horizon. Back when I had a desk top computer system with a bulky tower, it ran out of memory, or it froze up (or something like that) & that's when Apple support was phasing out it's free & easily accessible support (at least I THOUGHT it was supposed to be free & easy to get). I went to the Apple store & all they kept doing was try & scare me into paying for various priced service plans, & quoted outrageous fees for service if I didn't get a plan. That's when I asked around & started searching for an alternative. At the time there were only about three authorized independent Apple repair stores in the area, & after checking into all three (& from the feedback I got from friends & neighbors), Mac Horizon has been my favorite - trusting, affordable & effective. They listened to what my needs were & not some agenda of selling more unneeded stuff & expensive services. I realized (though at that time I resisted switching) I could get the same, if not more capability from a lap top then my desktop system (where as Apple just kept feeding my wide eyed awe of all the things I could do with "more", "bigger", & "faster", even though I didn't need any of that stuff). My desktop system finally became obsolete, & I bought my first lap top at Mac Horizon, & sad for them (but GREAT FOR ME) it lasted a long long time without any need for repair. And when it needed a few adjustments, they took full responsibility for anything thet might have been due to their original setup (which most shops wouldn't even consider), & everything else was very reasonably priced. And though I haven't told them (yet I suppose they know now), I'd checked into the other Apple repair shops a few times along the years to see if there were any changes, & I'm still very glad I've chosen Mac Horizon, & FAR more satisfied with the experience there then any of the other local shops (& DEFINITELY better then the Apple store). Wow, what a great experience! Just replaced the retina screen on MacBook Pro. First things first - rather often, MacHorizon already has essential parts in stock, so no waiting there. Second - they don't charge you for "diagnostics" UNLESS it appears 100% necessary to open up your laptop in order to identify the issue. Third and the most important, especially in comparison to glammed your places like MelroseMac (which by default applies both of the above mentioned delays and upcharges) - MacHorizon gives you the SAME final quote OUT THE DOOR over the phone and at the store. And quality of work, man - even though I asked for the used LCD: it's just looks brighter and juicier than the original! From now, on I'll make sure to select MacHorizon over any other vendors that were willing to: 1. Invite me over for a trip to their store while promising pretty charming quote 2. Tried forcing useless $75-$100 diagnostics that takes 3-5 days (while the issue was already confirmed by specialist) 3. Wait for the part for another 2-3 weeks 4. Add up a whole bunch of extras, taxes and fees at the final bill upon completion. In a nutshell: blessed to have discovered such place as MacHorizon right here in Hollywood.
