The Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market is located in the same lot as Haute Coffee and Mr. Rotisserie…read morefood trucks. It gets very crowded on the weekend making parking a bit of a challenge. This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

They carry eggs, fresh meat. Anything that you would expect to see that has all been raised on a farm. Other than that, there is a Haute coffee truck, a Venezuelan empanada shop, a sandwich place, a middle eastern truck and more. As I am a fan of the coffee place, I ordered a coffee. It was a bit on the sweeter side, but they had really cool flavors. I got the praline latte. The Venezuelan empanadas were great and I would definitely get them again.

I truly mean it when I say they have some of the coolest options in rotation. This isn't your run-of-the-mill fruit stand so you must stop by & have your horizons expanded. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've learned about (or tried) a new fruit on every visit. You'll find your regulars like oranges, apples, tomatoes, bananas & lemons but you'll also find so much more here; this is where the fun lies. Depending on the time of year they carry longan berries, yellow & red dragonfruit, prickly pear, sour tamarind, tangelos, guava & the list goes on. I love trying new things & I love fruit so this is place has quickly been put in rotation. I think the pricing is super fair considering you can't find some of this produce elsewhere. They also have a section where the super ripe fruit is at a discounted price. I like that they do this to promote buying them instead of wasting it. There's ample parking & although it's on a backroad of Davie, it's very easy to find. I choose to come here over a big grocery store any day of the week. Not only is supporting local farms a great thing, expanding your knowledge on fruits & vegetables is always a plus!

Not only have they been here for well over 18 years, I've personally shopped here for at least 15…read more They're an awesome grocery store that carries all sorts of delicious things. Being right down the road, I come here whenever I'm looking for quality products that I won't second guess buying. With convenient business hours, an easy location to access, plenty of parking & staffed with solid employees, it's a great place to shop. While it should be noted that some products are more pricey than the standard grocery store, I have no problem paying a little extra for better quality. Whether you're looking for great cuts of meat, delicious burgers, fresh seafood or ripe fruits & vegetables then this is the place for you. Maybe not all locations are the same but this one is & has always been consistent. Even their bakery section is on point with serving freshly prepared items & keeping the display cases filled with all sorts of treats. I love their croissants, they're just the right amount of flakey & have a slight butteriness to them. Being a huge coffee fan, I turn to FM almost exclusively to restock nowadays. Every time I walk to the coffee section I love seeing the rows of barrels filled with beans. They carry both non-flavored & flavored while offering at least 10 of each to choose from. There's also a handful of decaf selections. I find joy in looking through the options, smelling the differences & being able to grind it up right there; doesn't get much fresher than that. It's also cool that you can get as little or as much as you want & it's super cheap. The employees are helpful & friendly. It's nice that the store is kept tidy & you'll see them actively cleaning. They run deals often & if you sign up to be a member you can get discounts. This is one of my favorite grocery stores in the area for sure.

This has become a favorite of mine. On Thursdays they have a special meal deal of choosing one…read moreprotein and 2 sides for $8. My husband and I have been going every Thursday the past month. The protein ranges from salmon, chicken breast, meatloaf, meatballs, and more. The sides include salads, potato salads, Mac & cheese and much more. It's always fresh and tasty. We have also had the turkey and apple Brie wrap. SOOOO GOOD. I I usually don't like fruits in my wraps or salads but the way the apple and Brie blend in together is something else. They also have a sushi special on Thursdays. Select sushi is $5. They didn't have the sushi I like and the person behind the counter prepared a roll similar to a shrimp tempura roll that I was craving. She was so pleasant and really made our day when she did that. The employees are very kind and helpful. A little on the pricey side for me, which is why I stick to the specials lol but I hope they continue their meal deal and sushi specials for a very long time.
