I appreciate her going above-and-beyond on my behalf. The vegetables and fruit received were in great condition. The location is a small, narrow bay in a plaza, but there were a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables in stock. I definitely will return to check out the rest of their products and support this business. Free parking spots are available just outside the entrance to the business.

At other times, there are horse shows and competitions in the same general area. Parking is free for everyone! They provide handicapped parking for those with valid placards. Just show it to the parking guides. We rarely see horses here during the market, but it sometimes seems that EVERYONE brings their dog. Any many of the vendors cater to the dogs as well, selling dog food, treats, doggie duds, toys and more. Parkland's dog parks, (one for little dogs and one for large dogs), called Barkland, are right down the road from the Farmer's Market. It is not a large market, but it has a nice selection of items. Many of the vendors give out tasting samples. There are food trucks as well, and a covered seating area, so feel free to buy food at the market and eat breakfast, brunch or lunch right there. The people who sell honey let you taste any and all. Be sure you taste brfore you buy. The honeys have a very broad range of flavors and colors, with avocado honey being almost avocado green...Really! The french bakery has yummy breads & pastries.The croissants are fresh, yet, when we sat down to eat them at the market, we decided we like them better lightly toasted with butter and/or honey on them. I'm bringing the rest home. Samples are always free at the apple cider donut booth, kettle korn, paela, dips, salsas, banana breads, (one if our favorite vendors). Believe it or not, the item least represented are fruits and vegetables. You'd think that at a Farmer's Market, there would be more. Many of the fruits and veggies even come complete with stickers, printed with codes for the supermarket. Not everything is homegrown.... They, however, usually have homegrown tomatoes, eggplants, zuchini, carrots, string beans, cheeses and more. . Other vendors sell veggie sprouts, many varieties of mushrooms (sometimes), various homemade clothes, granola, hot sauces, dips, The fish guy sells fresh fish salads, whatever he has caught in the last couple of days. The pickle guy is very popular, selling al different kinds of pickles. The market is next door to the Gary B Jones Park for People and Pups so there are usually lots of cute dogs walking around with their owners. Parking is limited in the area by the market but if you don't mind a short walk I find it is easier to park in the dog park area. This Sunday there were vendors were selling local honey, fresh mozzarella, Kona Ice, burgers, fresh produce, tacos, quesadillas, fresh squeezed juice, ceviche, seafood, Melly Nel's Famous Rum Cakes, nut butters, candles, Wolf Den Soup, and live plants. I recognized a lot of the vendors from the Saturday Plantation Farmers Market in Volunteer Park. Well not overly large this market has a good mix of curated items. If you get something to eat there are a few covered picnic pavilions overlooking the canal to dine at. The restrooms are also right there. I took my almost 2yr old today with a group of other moms and kids; we had a blast. The place is big enough to walk around comfortably, it looks clean, the animals look well taken care of. They have free parking. They have lots of horses and any cute animal farm you can think of, chickens, goats, sheep's, cows, etc. My daughter absolutely loved petting and feeding the animals. The price is reasonable and the workers were nice. They also have other amenities in the place such as a food truck and shaded areas to eat. I was also excited to see their event areas, available for rental. Overall, the place is excellent! I will definitely be taking my toddler back.

If you want to learn how to grow a particular plant in your yard, this is the place that can show you how without the use of chemicals and pesticides. Volunteers can expect to work 3 hours, with two 15 min breaks. You will need to bring your own drinks and snacks. No alcohol or smoking allowed. You WILL get dirty! Expect to kneel on the ground and get muddy knees, and dirty hands. They will provide gloves and basic tools. Highly recommend you bring a hat, sun screen, and bug repellent. If you drive to the Patch, I would also highly recommend bringing a towel per person for the car. You will get dirty and may not wish to sit in your car with a muddy backside. This is a rewarding experience, very calming, and great for kids (I would say 10+ so long as they are well behaved as running around and general horseplay is not tolerated or appreciated). Dania Beach Patch does sell what it grows to the public. Their tiny market is open Mon-Sat 8a to 10a. Everything is fresh (obviously!). I'm very happy with everything I have purchased. This past Saturday I decided to stop by and came across House of Lola cookie booth and I bought 5 cookies and got 1 for free. She has Biscoff, Signature Chocolate Chip, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Cream, Fruity Pebbles & S'mores. The owner and her son are so sweet and they took my order and I was able to pay with Apple Pay. I ended up getting one of each because the owner was running a promotion where you buy 5 and get 1 free and I can confirm each and every single flavor she has so incredible. The cookies are so rich and indulgent! My absolute favorite was the cookies and cream, but two chocolate chip options are a close second. I love that you can truly taste the flavor in the Biscoff cookie, if you're a cereal lover, the Fruity Pebbles cookie is great, and the S'mores is so nostalgic with a yummy marshmallow. I spoke with several owners and they were all friendly, positive and enthusiastic about their products. This market opens at 10 am every Saturday.
