I had an issue with my 2013 MacBook Pro early in the pandemic and although I couldn't bring it in to be looked at, Tommy was gracious enough to give me some free advice over the phone to keep me going until I was able to bring it in. I recently dropped it off with Tommy (we were both masked with minimal contact). I use my MacBook Pro for work as well as to record and edit music and it's been doing some quirky things like disconnecting my blue tooth mouse and keyboard at times and is very slow in loading with my DAW software. Even though it tested out fine, Tommy was very straight forward with me that it's definitely past it's prime and not the strongest configuration to properly power my DAW software. I kind of knew that this would probably be the outcome but needed an expert to confirm it for me. Tommy came over to our home earlier this year after I had the worst case scenario as a professional DJ. I was in the middle of a set during the midnight hour on a Saturday night. My Macbook retina screen had been cracked for almost a year. I had talked to Apple support, and they told me they couldn't give me a quote or a proper time estimate before I dropped of the machine at the shop. They estimated approx 5-7 business days after dropping of, which is totally undoable for me since I use my Macbook for work, and always have last minute stuff popping up. I called Tommy day before Thanksgiving to see if there was any chance to get it sorted over the holidays. This was pretty much my only pocket of time where I knew I most likely wouldn't be working. my 2019 imac was a lemon out of the box. i bought the baseline model 21.5" w/ the fusion drive. that thing kept crashing & freezing. apple support was useless. just had me keep reinstalling the software. after a year of frustration, i reached out to tommy @ macmyday who explained to me that the fusion drive was a joke. the only part of the drive that was solid state was the boot up. rest was a spinning drive & was probably failing. he recommended replacing the spinning drive w/ a ssd. he also suggested that while they were in there they upgraded the ram from the 8g the imac came w/ to 32g. tommy's prices were better than any of the other mac service companies & he was able to turn it around same day! they say you can only get 2 of the 3: good, fast & affordable. tommy is the anomaly that breaks that rule. highly recommended. read more

Tommy swapped the hard drive on my 7 year old iMac in record time and for a great price. Took my MacBook Pro to Apple to get diagnosed. At first it was running slow and ultimately I couldn't even log on. Apple said the hard drive needed to be erased.
