    Truffle Devil Egg
    Nica F.

Mushroom Risotto was decent but the ribs were dry. Fish and Chips/Fries i needed to add salt cause it needed flavor. Truffle Devil egg was disappointing because it needed to add more truffle. Strawberry drink omg its like drinking water. Ok here's the worst part, our server (Humberto G) took our main dish plates and asked immediately are you ready for your check? I said, oh I was going to eat dessert but its ok. Then he offered if he could bring dessert menu. I said never mind just give me the check. Then I went to ice cream next door.

Overall, the food was delicious. The busboy was amazing--super friendly, attentive, and consistently refilled our water. His service really stood out. Unfortunately, our waiter wasn't quite at the same level. Not bad, but not 5-star--could have been warmer and more attentive. We interacted with a couple of servers, and the experience was fairly consistent across them. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from Napa: clean, elegant, and relaxing. Overall, if it weren't for the service from the waitstaff, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

Great spot for a cocktail and burger in downtown Napa. Brunch is really good too. Sit at the bar for brunch. Great pours great bartenders. 5 star chili Great light bright spot for the hair of the dog.

Great fish and chips. We wanted a light lunch and had the fish and chips and vegetable soup. The soup was nicely flavored and was a great addition to a cold day. The service was pleasant and attentive. This was a modern pub style restaurant. Give them a try if in the neighborhood.

Boy I should look around more often. My laser focus was getting some red meat into my breadbasket. It was early dinner late lunch time when we came in. The place looked very nice, kind of big and empty. We worked our way to the bar seats, ordered drinks and looked at the menu. I had a wine because I knew I wanted, red meat. My wife had an Old Fashioned because she's...you know. Then boom, there it was, a hanger steak and fries. My wife wasn't hungry at this ridiculous time of day so she just ordered some breaded pickles, that she didn't eat until tomorrow. Anyway, that steak was perfectly cooked. Medium rare with an absolutely delicious char. I killed it. No I didn't kill the cow but after someone else did, I came in and killed it. People are starting to fill this joint up now...so we must depart. Thank you.

We went for restaurant week in Napa. Such a fun little menu, and so yummy! Spencer was our server, and we absolutely adored him. Cute little restaurant with booths... Gotta love booths! I can't have alcohol, but my husband got the wine pairing with all his meal and boy was the Pinot and Duck a good combo! (I did smell the Pinot) I am posting pictures so you can see what we got and you have a few days left of January!

I haven't eaten at Norman Rose or gotten to-go food in a few years now. We went in the other night to give it one last chance after having a few too many disappointing meals. The spinach goat cheese dip is just as I remembered, rich and delicious. My husband got the lamb burger and said it was lacking in flavor. I branched out from my go to fried chicken sandwhich with an egg and instead got the chicken parm, it was so disappointing. This was probably our last time going to Norman Rose. There are just too many great restaurants in downtown Napa to risk spending that kind of money on another mediocre meal.

Peach burrata salad- plenty for two to share

Right in the heart of downtown Napa, we found this to be a delicious stop for lunch, in between wine tastings. Our servers were friendly and our food came out quickly. I had and liked my barley and bean burger with avocado slice and Swiss cheese. It was tasty but a bit on the dry side. I shared the peach burrata salad with my spouse and we loved it! We sat under cover but open area so the ambience felt great on this pleasant June day! We enjoyed our experience and would recommend it for lunch!

3.5? Everything was ok. I didn't see some items on the menu that were on Yelp that attracted me (menu changes?). I got the fish tacos and the presentation and portion was good! The fish was big and the batter was crispy! But taste overall was ok. I tried my bfs fried chicken sandwich and it was also ok. The mussels were good. The place itself was clean and servers were nice and friendly.

I had awesome food here I got the Wienerschnitzel that came with German potato salad. It is some of the best that I've had. My friend got the French dip sandwich. She stated it tasted really well. Her daughter got the sliders that had Fritos in the hamburger and avocados on it. From what they said. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We sat in a booth that was very comfortable. The temperature was perfect all around a very good experience.

Tried Norman Rose in Napa - it was across from our hotel. The short rib was very tender, mushroom risotto tasty. Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich also quite tasty. The batter on the fish and chip a little thick. The tiramisu was really good. Service was okay. Ambiance was chill.

    Pulled pork special
    Laura A.

Moderate food choice in downtown Napa, reasonable prices and decent service. We were seated outside on the patio and tried the calamari and shishito peppers to start. The calamari was overly fried and the shishito peppers had great flavor, lightly oiled and salted but were a bit undercooked. We also tried two of the lunch specials. The pulled pork on a potatoe bun was topped with scant coleslaw and red onions, also included sweet potatoe fries (instead of a la carte). The chicken Parmesan was lightly breaded and topped with sauce and parsley, comes with a side of fettuccine.

The TVs playing the football game created a great atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the experience. The food and drinks were excellent, making the whole visit even better. Overall, an amazing place with great vibes that I'd definitely come back to.

That and the fact that they have never been to Napa/Sonoma Area in their 36 years in America, meant that my brother and I had to plan a trip. My brother selected Mustards Grill. It was along the way to our reservation to Beringer and continently along St. Helena Highway. Despite hearing about Mustards being a staple within the Yountville area, it was so my first time trying it too. We had a reservation for 4 and after getting taken care of by the courteous host and being welcomed by our waitress, we were left with waters and the menu. To get the most of the experience, my brother thought we should all share several items. We shared their famous Pork Chops, Duck Confit, Ribs and Cornbread, Squash Risotto, and a side of Green Beans. We were offered fresh bread and butter prior to the arrival of our entrees and shortly after enjoying the soft pillowy bread, we were ready for more. My parents, being Cantonese and coming from the restaurant background, really care about having fresh and quality ingredients and letting the flavors shine - not letting sauces dictate the dish. Despite it being American fare, they quite enjoyed each dish and went back for additional helpings after giving a small initial taste of each item. Our visit to Mustards Grill ended up being a joyous meal where my parents got more exposure to the wonders of quality American cuisine as well as marked a good start to the day we were spending in wine county.

We had reservations for 11AM, by the time it was 11:30AM, about 85% of the restaurant was filled. By noon? All the tables were taken! Come early, get seated, relax. Service: We had the privilege of having Dwight be our server this afternoon. He was an absolute gem who loves his job, and loves what he does. He explained to us the specials, and some of the dishes he liked; he was a big help! We settled on a few things: the chicken wings (a MUST-HAVE; they are smoked first --- then fried; then tossed in a bit of a sweet seasoning --- it hits all the taste buds!). We also got the sweet potatoes --- good, nothing to write mom about. In addition, I had to get the famous Mongolian Porkchops. Dwight suggested to get it medium (I was a bit apprehensive --- it is pork), but always "trust the chef". So I did. My meal was EXCELLENT. The porkchop was perfectly grilled with some charred bits, and the meat was tender and juicy. Thank you Dwight for your suggestion! All-in-all, Mustards Grill is a MUST if you're ever staying in the Napa Valley. They received a Michelin Star in 2025, and if you try their food, you can clearly see why. After your finished with your meal, step outside and make a right --- and take some photos next to the vineyard. You are in Napa after all!

As you might expect the decor is upscale, modern farmhouse for a restaurant called Farm. It's beautiful with modern metal light figures, light color pallets, and large windows. And even though we reserved an indoor table, they accommodated our last minute desire to switch to outdoor seating. Major bonus points for sufficient heating for your outdoor diners, even at the end of May. The service at Farm was excellent. I just want to give a major shout out to Farm for completely accommodating my lactose intolerance. This allowed me to enjoy the dining experience without worry. For drinks they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne as we were celebrating a special occasion. This was a nice way to start the meal. After, I ordered a lemon drop and husband went with his typical old fashioned. Both were very good. Next, they gave us some amuse bouches to start the meal, with a special one for me to accommodate my dairy issue. Love, love it when restaurants do this. I think this especially notable for restaurants not offering a prixe fixe menu. The food was incredible. To start we had the focaccia, which was so, so good. I was also very hungry so I had more than I would have liked before I even got my entree. Oops, but I also have no regrets. For my entree, I really wanted the crab stuffed cod, but this could not be done without dairy so I opted for the eye of ribeye entree. This dish was incredible. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I don't know what the veggies on the side were exactly, but they were mind-blowingly good. I wish I could make veggies at home taste this good. I firmly believe that it speaks volumes when a restaurant puts as much effort into the sides as it does to its mains. My husband ordered the pizza as his main. He finished it all, but thought the pizza sauce tasted a little unusual, but couldn't put his finger on exactly why. For dessert I had strawberry sorbet, and my husband had the chocolate ice cream. The portions were very generous with three scoops each. I didn't think we would finish them, but they were so good we did. To conclude the meal, they gave us little pate de fruit candies, and cookies to take home with us, including a dairy free one specially for me. This type of experience is on par with Michelin level dining. We had such a fabulous meal here and overall amazing experience with the level of service at the Carneros property that even though we weren't staying as guests, we decided that we will stay at Carneros and will dine again at Farm when we visit again next year.
