I used to love Macy's have had their card for over 20 yrs but now I notice the quality of products has gone down while prices are higher, most product is made in China, the gold is high prices but not high quality i rather go to a real jeweler. The perfumes were out on display but no sniff cards to spray them on. I saw a display of these cute mugs and asked where they were but they didn't have them they were just for the display. Ummm ok. Plenty of staff visible working and very pleasant. I wish the coupons worked on more things. read more

12/20/25 Final holiday push to complete our shopping. Parking 3/5 Is the anticipated Christmas shopping season and the lots were challenging. After a few circles we captured a space before entering the crowded store. Service was limited but we managed to get help locating a couple of items and some new kitchen items to simplify my Pho and noodle prep. Great selections at our jewelry, kitchen and bedding stops. I had purchased a shirt at another Macy's location in the area that recently went out of business. The shirt still had the security sensor. I took the shirt and the receipt to this Macy's to have it removed. When I walked into this Macy's store, the store was very clean and very organized. I asked someone who worked here if they could remove the sensor and they did. 5 stars from me. No issues here. read more

I didn't catch her name, but she noticed I was struggling to choose dress shirts for my husband and stepped in without hesitation. This is a smaller location that doesn't carry everything but, it's a good stop if you're in a hurry to grab a last min item and go! Some of the employees are nice but they do follow you around like a puppy making sure that you aren't stealing... it's almost insane how they pretend to be working while watching you, considering that, they really should be following some of the Lil ole seasoned humans, who are the mastermind of stealing from stores. I actually stopped in to make a MAC exchange but, this location doesn't carry Mac. I did find out that, you can return Mac here even though they don't carry it! They have clearance racks which most of the items on it were nonsense items honestly... I'm not sure where they get the rags from on these racks but the stuff was hideous! I had to look around and make sure that I wasn't in Goodwill. The clearance shoe rack is a joke considering they claim to give 65% off when there are shoes on the rack that were originally $65 on the brands website but then, marked down, from a higher rate to $65... I have had nothing but great experiences in the Men's store at this Macy's location. I visited the store yesterday with my 17 year old son to buy a suit for his upcoming Prom and was helped by Imran Hack, a salesperson who I know from previous experiences. He helped us put together a great suit, shirt, tie, belt and shoes combination and we were in and out in less that an hour. It was definitely a terrific experience. read more

I love Macys! I have great memories of going to the Cellar Department which carried food delicacies on 34th St in Manhattan with my Grandmother. The Xmas decorations in the store front windows were magical. Of course the store at San Tan is very small in comparison, but their online service has even more to choose from. Customer service is always great and I've never had a problem with a return. The credit card used for the purchase is not necessary to have for the return because everything is saved internally. The sales are the best part! Amazing savings on almost everything. I hope Macys stays at San Tan Mall for years to come. read more

I was pleased to see everyone was wearing a face covering and there is signage that your not allowed in to the store without one. I didn't stay too long because I was wearing my N95 mask and couldn't breath lol. Anyways thought it was time to update my review that they offer curbside pickup up and face covering are required. Sad to say, but I will no longer shop here. Returns are horrible along with customer service is severely lacking. Super sad used to really like this place. I Purchased a comforter, brought it home. It was too heavy on my bed, so I took it back with the receipt and never used it. I was informed I would get a gift card even though it only been four days because I did not have the card with me I purchased it with it was my husband and he is now working in Singapore , they told me to have him mail his credit card to me so I can do the return really I asked to speak with a manager she said she's right there. She's gonna tell you the same thing and she just looking gave me snotty. Look inside. Yes, I will say the exact same thing, so I called customer service. They told me to go back get the gift card and they would call me back in an hour and credit the gift card to my credit card they never called me I called they had no idea what I was talking about and explain everything again and they said sorry we can't do that. This location at San Tan is really nice. The clothes are somewhat sorted by size as compared to other locations. The dressing rooms are plenty and roomy. Lots of selection. The only thing that was not great was the lack of cashier stations. read more

This used to be my favorite department store, and they have some very nice clothing, but the selection just isn't there in the physical buildings. There is also no assistance to be found, despite being only one of four people shopping at the time in the entire store. The employees are very friendly, but there just aren't enough of them available to truly run a store AND provide great service. I've resorted to trying a size in a brand to ensure the right fit, then buying from their online store. Sadly, I expect that in the not-too-distant future, the brick and mortar versions of this place will see the same fate as some of the other clothing brands, and become a memory. I do hope they'll retain the online stores because I will definitely continue to purchase through the mobile app. read more

This Macy's is close to my new apartment. I visited on a Monday morning and it was devoid of shoppers. I was looking for a pair of shorts as it is so darn hot here. I found a pair to try on. The dressing room was disgusting. They should try painting it. Paint is cheap. The lady that checked me out was nice. Also, I have their Amex card. I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to sort it out with their outsourced call center. They still don't know why I had the problem. I'll be closing my account soon. A fellow Yelper told me about their new rewards program which does not require signing up for a Macy's credit card and its free! I bought a pair of Ray Bans with a 25% off coupon code for being a Bronze member and I saved over $50. I have ordered online and chose the "pick up items in store" option thinking the store had stock of what I ordered. That was not the case, it took over a week for my order to ship from wherever it came from. I am docking 1 star because the kitchen department at this location is dismal. read more

I initially went to your store go shopping after work to kill time before I had to pick my daughter up from school. While at your store I found some pillows that I really liked because recently I had injured myself and needed ones that would help support my neck. Meanwhile a prejudice snotty sales representative who doesn't know any better is actively watching me and asks me if I want to check the price first before I check out? For some pillows... are you serious? Obviously the answer is no, money wasn't the issue and I'm sure if someone is on a budget they look at the price before deciding to grab items which I would assume the answer again would be no. Your representative bugged again asking if she could hold the pillows for me, and at this point it's making me feel racially profiled and uncomfortable so my answer was no it's ok and checked out. The way I was treated was absolutely disgusting and never thought I'd have to experience that kind of treatment. As someone who used to work retail you can excuse it and say "she was just doing her job" however she never gave me a welcoming feeling or a great experience at your store. I've been to Macy's plenty of times and multiple different stores since I travel for work but this location gave me the worst experience. read more

With product, receipt, and Macy's Credit Card, don't try to return anything, because they will deny it's still in inventory within their store. Nothing worn, all tags in place, but not even store credit because they don't carry that specific item any longer - even in their return period time window. The 'supervisor' was patronizing and talked down to me. Goodbye Macy's. We are done shopping in any Macy's store and on-line. Stopped by today to buy a couple of items and once done, we decided to sit down by the entrance while we waited for the rest of our group to finish shopping. There were a bunch of teenagers walking around being obnoxious, loud, and touching everything. We even saw a few of them throw things on the ground while the employee just stood there and didn't bother saying anything. One of the kids even said, "stop doing that we're going to get kicked out" to one of his friends. The girl working was more concerned in looking at herself in the mirror then saying anything to them. Don't expect to get good customer service here as everyone working seems to be in a bad mood. Sadly this Macy's has gone downhill. read more

Well let's start by saying if you are going to have a "letter to Santa writing station" at the main entrance, then you should make the effort to keep it stocked. Otherwise you just create disappointment. The store itself is not bad and they seem to do a better job of keeping the clothing organized and not on the floor than other Macy's do, but the clothing areas are still cramped with more merchandise on a rack than reasonably fits. I used their app to scan and pay for my clothing before getting to the register, which is supposed to be more efficient, but it clearly was an irritant to the woman that then had to take off the security tags and print my receipt. Makes me wonder if they miss out on their commission because of this. If so, that would be a shame. read more

Since I'm 51, I remember the good old days when Macy's were actually well staffed. My mom wanted to buy my daughter some mineral makeup and we made our way to the Bare Minerals counter and there was no one in sight. I made my trek over to the jewelry counter where I saw two employees talking and a friendly middle aged woman said she would send an employee over to help us. They didn't allow testers so the employee just gave us three choices on which colors might be good on my daughter. It's really hard to buy foundation this way and what is the point of going to a store to purchase it if you can guess your color and purchase it probably cheaper online? Next we walked by the shoes area and they have totally turned it into self serve: a shoe on top of a chest high shelf and the boxes of the shoes below it. What would be the point of buying at Macy's instead of DSW or Kohls? I miss the fashionista shoe people that used to be on hand to serve. Nostalgic for the days before internet and budget retailers but I know I am part of the problem. Sigh. read more

I'm not sure how else to let Macy's know how atrocious their customer service has become. I'm not trying to pay a bill online through my customer service portal. My Macy's CC has been unlinked and will not let me link. I called the 888 number and the people literally could not help or do anything. I tried calling the local Macy's to ask for help and as always, they NEVER answer the phone. Once we pay our bill, I will be cancelling our account with Macy's.... This is like a mini Macy's, it's smaller than the one by my old house. I think the selection suffers because it's small which stinks. However, the service is great. Very friendly. When I was shopping for my dress for the company holiday party, the sales woman was angel and kept running back for different sizes for me, she was happy to help. If I could give any less than one star, I would have. I have 2 stupid credit cards from this stupid department store called Macy's. I don't know why I bothered myself with shopping there. I'm never satisfied.... I constantly give it another go to see if the next time would be great. Their customer service and staff are from HELL :( Yes seriously... You could be placed on hold for literally 2 hours and I kid you not.... For this recent issue which happened to be the straw that broke the camel's back, I was sent several gift cards in the mail around my birthday. The cards were like, spend $50 and get 10% and the highest amount was get 30% if you spend over $100. So I spent $230 and didn't get the credits. I've tried a couple of times prior to today. And was about to freeze my account and a manager came on the phone and said she would credit my account for the 30% as stated, however the sales person should have informed me that the discount doesn't apply to Coco Channel perfume products. I'm going to give it another week and see if they really applied this credit to my account. Frustration doesn't begin to describe how I'm feeling right now. What can I say? read more

I was never a big Chandler Mall Macy's fan. I could never get any help there. This one is much more quaint and friendlier. I also love the open layout, not crammed with things at all. They carry quite a selection of home goods and small appliances for its size. Nice clothing and shoes. I do find that the shoe selection starts from the really cheap pleather end. Almost all department stores carry that anymore, so beware of the sales and read the tags. Unless you go to Neiman Marcus, you can never be sure. Perusing throught their leather boots sale, I thought a $90 pair on sale for $60 was a good price until I saw that it wasn't leather at all. That's still quite pricey. I recommend this place if you want good and fast service. read more

I came to this location because it is extremely close to my house. There are 2 people working the registers and CLEARLY one line. I've been standing here for over 7 mins to make a simple return. These cashiers are extremely slow. If you cannot chat with customers and work the register, perhaps you should try one or the other but NOT both! It's now been another 5 mins and I'm still standing here. There's something seriously wrong with this picture. It shouldn't take 10 mins to process a 3-item return...but it has. And for the customers who believe that they can stand on either side of the counter to be serviced...inappropriate. There is ONE line clearly marked on the floor, get in it! It should've been obvious with the two people standing behind me. Don't be offended when others, waiting to see how the cashier is going to act, state that they are next. You see other customers gathering in one line...follow suit! The store was quiet. There were all if seven cars in the parking lot. I should NOT have been in line that long! This is a really nice Macy's to shop at... it somehow feels 'higher' end because it is not organized like the other mall Macy's and because their dressing rooms are spacious, well-lit, and modernly decorated... whereas the mall rooms are like going to try clothes on at Ross! I found a decent selection of maternity clothes in their itty bitty section of Maternity, so I was satisfied. The prices were Macy's prices, but they had a coupon you could use for 10% off (unless it was the Motherhood brand... yay for me!.. not!)... so I didn't get to use it for this purchase. Besides the very nice decor and layout and modern feel of the Macy's, here were a few things I noted: The ladies working here were genuinely NICE ladies... very friendly, helpful, talkative, just had a great attitude. The store is looking very bare. Lots of empty racks. Also messy, huge piles of clothing everywhere. The first 2 registers I went to had signs to go to children's for a register. Standing in line I was wondering why my internet didn't work. I saw I was on "Macy's free wifi", I turned it off and used my data. The free wifi is basically no wifi, don't bother.
