First time here and it won't be the last! Starting with the salsa.....excellent! They even have a spicy salsa to add and if you like heat, it's the way to go. Our server, Justin, made an incredible experience with suggestions and prompt attention that was so much appreciated. The best of the best! The owner, David, even stopped by our table and added some background information about the restaurant! WOW.... What a wonderful evening! Salsa has a perfect balance of heat and flavor. Margaritas were yummy. I had the torta with asada and it was delicious. Hubbie went for the fajitas and wasn't disappointed. Serving size was good and came out hot. Our server, whom I didn't catch her name was sweet, efficient, and attentive. Great job MAD Mexican Grill. Visited Mad Mexican tonight. Below are my observations. Salsa - no flavor, needs at least some salt Queso - straight out of a jar of Tostitos queso (that's not a compliment) Margaritas - straight sugary margarita mix from their neighbor, Kroger *might* have some alcohol floating around in there somewhere, but I couldn't taste (or feel) any - I got a large. Burrito Chihuahua - very good! Fajita beef was really flavorful. Service - VERY good! Staff is friendly and the appropriate amount of attentive. Prices - horrible We will go back to our new local fave, JJ's. read more

Simple, yet average, sit down, hole in the wall, Mexican food shop. The food was fairly pricey for what you get. For $15 for nearly every entree, you simply don't get the amount of food I would expect to receive at this price point. The burrito Chihuahua doesn't even come with rice or beans on the side. Instead the burrito is filled with rice and barley any meat. Enchiladas were pretty plain. Walking out with a $70 bill, three items and a small mixed drink is pretty crazy. My family and I just tried this place for the first time and it was AWESOME! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the ambience was cozy. Our waitress, Piper was very helpful, kind, and personable. We waited for 15 min and finally just left. It was not busy 3 tables and one couple at the bar. Plenty of workers walking around. Had to ask for some water to the young man putting chips on the tables. Nobody acknowledged us after they sat us in a booth. Left them $4 for the water and chips we ate. Went to MiPueblo. read more

What a great spot to hang out! Decorated so nicely and very clean. We chose to sit at the bar to watch a game while enjoying our meal. Huge tv's! Excellent fresh made margaritas from fresh squeezed limes, fresh fruit (if you get flavored) and fresh simple syrup. I chose a mangonada margarita that has mango, chamoy, and tajin rim. It was so refreshing. I chose the Asada Torta and let me tell you it was the best torta I've found yet. The bolillo roll is halved and then lightly grilled, smeared with refried beans and avocado then layered with cheese, lettuce, tomato, thinly sliced ham(it truly adds a level of flavor you can't describe) and my meat of choice asada steak. I'll be coming back for another! They have a great double sided menu with pictures of some of their items and a wide range of dishes to offer something for everyone. They also have large tables to easily accommodate bigger parties. Super friendly staff too! read more

First time had chicken fajitas and they were good, not outstanding but good. Second time cheese enchiladas, missed the mark on those. Third time was chicken enchiladas, definitely not. You know i have to call them as I see them. Here it is a Friday 7 pm and what was I driving by? MADD mex grill. Not super busy but a number of people here. Lots of staff. Seated quickly. Drink order quick. Then no chips and salsa. Ok maybe I'm being too picky but 5-10 min without chips and salsa while you're at the table with your tea.... Finally got some out. Food came out with good speed and the food is still great. But then service was gone. Lots of staff. I hate it when I run out of tea midway through the meal. No tea. No salsa. Which btw is so darn good. So now I'm done. The food was great. And I still wait and finally they check on me. I finally got my tea refilled. I'm not sure where the staff disappears to, but it sounds like the bar area. I hear a lot of loud talking. I'm sure they are having fun, but at least check on me once after the food comes out. Ok I know I'm being too picky. I'm usually very patient. And I always give the staff the benefit of the doubt. Always. I guess a single guest doesn't look like $$. I'm a great tipper also. So all in all a really good dinner. Maybe it was just me. But I'm not leaving as my normal full and happy self. read more

We came here for a Christmas dinner and it was amazing. Their menu is refreshing, great options and not just run of the mill Tex-Mex. Their menu recipes are more family based and you can taste it. Tried MAD today for a late lunch. We had the cheese Enchilada plate and a crispy taco plate - both were really good. The mango jalapeño margaritas are excellent too!
