Wow, so great. I've been wanting/ waiting for a Pho place to open up near to me so I could enjoy some of my favorite food. The service was outstanding and responsive, the food came out fast and fresh, the place was clean and well lit and inviting. I was able to get a seat quickly, get my order taken quickly, get my food quickly, etc. Great experience. I ordered some spring roles as an appetizer, a beef Pho (Large) and a Lucky Buddha drink. Everything was exactly how I expected it to be. After the bill came, I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were (and even thought to myself they should be charging more, lol) - I double checked and everything was in the receipt. So great. Have been going here for a few years. The food and service is solid. However the recent 20% increase in price with no updated menu, sign or communication from the server left a sour taste in my mouth. We only realized when given the bill. When asked when the price increase happened, the sever said she didn't know. Good idea to confirm prices as you order so no surprises. read more

We've been coming here since I moved to WI, my boyfriend and his parents have been coming here much longer. We placed an order over the phone, when he went to pick it up, they told him the total, swiped the card and he walked to the parking lot. He thought the price was a bit higher but thought maybe they increased their pricing, he thought the bag was a bit heavier than normal as he walked back to car. He checked and realized they gave him an extra order of veggie pho he didn't order and then also concluded thats why the price was higher. He went back into Madame Pho's and the worker was originally going to refund the extra pho but then the owner told him they wouldn't take the extra pho back and couldn't refund the extra soup because "he agreed to the price when he swiped his card." He was not shown an itemized receipt, he wasn't read off what was in the bag and the bag was sealed. How was HE TO KNOW they charged an extra pho that he DIDN'T ORDER. Bad practice, bad taste left with this restaurant and we will be looking for a new pho place to frequent and his parents will do the same. How unfortunate. read more

Our server was so nice, thoughtful and attentive. She guided us through the menu with the upmost concern that we would pick what was right for us. The service was fast, the food was hot (always a good thing) and tasty. Im used to more "toppings" being available for my pho, but what they had worked. PHO CLOSE This review could have easily been 5 stars but there were many things that were unacceptable here: 1) We ordered chicken Pho for our daughter and the waitress then came to our table after 15 minutes to tell us that they were out of chicken. Our two sliced rare beef Pho's then sat in the kitchen while they had to make our daughter a noodle only soup. Our rare beef was tough and over cooked typically it should still be rare when arriving at our table. 2) The owner went to eat his lunch in the back of the restaurant. The young cook's then turned up the heavy metal music in the kitchen. We then had to listen to the music in the dinning room and the music in the kitchen. There should be no music in the kitchen when it opens up into the dinning room. 3) We found a hair inside of the house made egg roll. That's just gross. 4) We found a hair in our daughters noodle Pho. I'm seeing a trend here. I did see facial hair on the young line cook but not a beard net on his chin. That's just cross contamination. There's a glass window in the dinning room where you can see the staff cooking in the kitchen. 5) When we ordered the Chicken Pho we asked for there to be nothing added in our daughters soup meaning the cilantro and green onion but when her soup arrived it had all of that already added in the soup. 6) Our waitress delivered our bill and still charged us the full price for our daughters chicken Pho. Really? She's the one that told us there was no chicken. It was like a $5 mistake. I just find that lazy and not a good server or she thought we were stupid. It's the first thing she should have fixed instead of talking to her friends in the kitchen. 7) Staff needs to stop hanging out at the pass and talking to the kitchen cook's because all the tables near you can hear your conversations. That's the problem. These young kids just don't get it. They live in their own world. With all of these reasons approve the review should truly be zero stars. In fact, if they would have sat us away from the kitchen we might have not experienced everything above and the review would have been different. I will tell you my rare sliced beef Pho noodle soup was good with the exception of the over cooked beef. The broth was good and I was really surprised at how good the Pho in Wisconsin could be. The lazy service and young kitchen cooks scare me especially when the owner was sitting around the corner eating his lunch. We always eat and order at this place and order the same thing until this happened. I never been so humiliated in my life until this server who claimed that he was the owner, scorn, yelled, verbally abused and belittle us. He also denied us service when I get disappointed because of serving us the wrong order. Instead of making it right, he screamed at us and kicked us out while we are eating. He had a very disruptive behavior that a normal person esp in food service shouldn't have. He thrown all the food in the garbage. I was trying to get the manager or owner by he refused to. He was so disruptive and worst at customer service and customer satisfaction. I did not say any bad things to him, I was just so disappointed. But instead of making it right, he yelled at us that our race (Filipino) was crazy and do not know how to read. Please avoid this person and restaurant until this person is gone. We were super excited to learn a pho place opened in this area! We decided to dine in and try their fresh spring roll, and two noodle dishes. To our dismay, the spring roll was made poorly, and had wilted brown shredded lettuce and bean sprouts. The noodle dishes looked promising, however, one bite and I was very disappointed. No flavor. We decided to give it one more try and ordered take out. We decided to order chicken wings, egg roll, pork chop with rice, vermicelli noodles and banh mi sandwiches. The egg rolls were burned (see picture) and the chicken wings were a disappointment (see picture). The rice dish was ok. The vermicelli noodles were soggy and the banh mi bread was very soggy. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. We love eating Vietnamese food and growing up in Chicago, we know what really good Vietnamese food should taste like. Amazing food! So I've tried this place a couple of times now and wanted to wait to give a review. When they first opened a lot of food on the menu would sell out. After frequenting the location and trying the food I can see why. The price point is good and the inside is quaint and nice. Although I haven't dined in and can't attest to the staff, the staffers that complete the phone orders are super nice. The food is fairly large portions for the price especially the large pho options as two to three people could easily share an order. The crab wontons are definitely a must try. Only have gotten take out once from this place. I got the cooked flank steak pho bowl. They packaged everything separately and neatly. Little sauce cups and lime wedges on the side !
