this is THE best chef/meal service. and I have tried them ALL. Everything is fresh. Chopped. Feels gourmet. Good variety across the weeks. Portions are generous. Huge bonus: they adapt for my food restrictions, and I can order portions for one. Pro-tip: use them for Thanksgiving. You cook homemade without half the prep and shopping, and your table will look like magazine-quality.

We have been Madison & Rayne customers for at least 10 years than and love their service. Their delivery is reliable, the meals are easy to prepare and the food is delicious. They go to great lengths to decrease packaging waste by recycling the containers. You simply wash them out and return them the following week. In addition to pre-prepped meals, they offer interesting and healthy salads. My son and I are addicted to their protein bites! We are eating healthier meals, wasting less food and spend less time shopping. what's not to love about that?

My first order all bagged up and ready to go.

We concurrently use Blue Apron, but even that can be a bit of an overkill for us cooking-wise.

I was able to order 8 pre-assembled half meals for a very reasonable cost and pick them up right after work. First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, explaining how to heat up the food and helping me carry it all to the car Second off, I got home, turned on the oven, popped in the crispy chicken tenders and tater tots while I was in the shower and by the time I was done, dinner was ready. One meal was enough food for me to split it in half so that I can make another entire meal later. The chicken was outstanding. Really flavorful and I loved the sweet and spicy sauce it came with. The tatertots were better than the ones I typically pick up from the grocery store. I was stuffed afterwards and can't wait to try another meal tonight. They also gave me a bag of their cookie dough to try. Omg. I ate five of them! This was a perfect solution for a busy professional like myself who currently lives alone. I foresee using this service for months to come - no mess, no extra ingredients I'll let go to waste, and no stress. It was awesome.

We ended up being only 5 minutes late, but Chef Titik was so welcoming. The only thing should have been a disclosure about having pets and potential allergies. She made us a welcome drink which was very tasty. She told us a little about herself and experience as a chef. We learned so much inclusive of knife sharpening techniques to how to properly cut fruits and vegetables, putting together seasoning, tips and tricks, and some facts about food. She even took photos of us and shared them. She made us feel like family at home having us over for dinner helping cook. It was such a memorable experience and so unique and perfect for my team. We all love food and travel so this is definitely one for the books. We all had a blast and would highly recommend.

From there, we went to 2 groceries and learned all about the best spices to get, best rice, and best produce. Have since been to one of the groceries and felt right at home! Susan is full of knowledge and found the answers to anything she did not know - either that day or after the tour. She also took time to understand food limitations, in my case Gluten Free, and how we could incorporate them and what to look out for. We also went to a nice store that sells meditation mats, clothes, and beautiful linens. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon, and I especially appreciated that we got recipes and an understanding of the differences in southern and northern Indian cooking. All of the great tips will come in handy. The only suggestion I would have is for some snacks to be added along the way! I sure hope a second version of the tour is added.

Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."
