The stars are for the food, service was very lacking, ambiance was ok. Our server, Elizabeth was friendly, but we waited over twenty minutes for our drinks without any explanation or updates. We weren't checked on after our food came to see if we needed anything. We'd hope to catch her attention if we happened to see her walking by. The place is very busy and popular. There's a Yelp waitlist but it wasn't active at all the Sunday we went so I'm not sure it's in use. It used to be a fast food place and so still has that feeling inside even with the efforts at decorating. The birria I had was good but dry. It only came with a tiny cup of consume. There's not a lot of brunch places nearby so I would come again and hope that the service improves. read more

Food presentation was nice, but unfortunately, the food was not good for me. I got their famous chilaquiles plate and the meat tasted so bland, like it wasn't seasoned at all and had a weird aftertaste like it was old. Even the smell got to me before I even tasted it. Huge portions, I left most of it. The thing I enjoyed was the coffee. Another thing, my Childs plate had a hair, but I wasn't sure if it came from her or the staff so I didn't even say anything. Joined the waitlist when I arrived and was told it would be 25 mins. 30 mins later I checked with the host who advised it would be another 20 mins. In total I waited 1 hour. For parties of 6 or more they automatically add the 20% tip. Fine. But my gripe with that is anytime it's automatic the service sucks. Our order was taken when we sat down but the table had no utensils so for a while we sat there hoping for someone to come by so get napkins and utensils. The location also has no AC. Fans only. And they didn't have them on. It was 85 degrees, and after standing in the parking lot for an hour in the sun, the goal is to sit in a cool area. The food was good and drinks were decent. But nothing so amazing that I would go through all that again. Also parking is tough, there was street parking though. My advice would be if you're going to make people wait, add shade and chairs to your floor plan. read more

Family used to come here when it was Chelas, we came here for brunch on Father's Day and the service was 10/10 . Ambiance was fun and bright , perfect for Instagram content. And here this morning for breakfast with my mother I had the one Birria sandwich. It was a giant portion two people could've ate from it. It was delicious and well served. My mother had the birria chilaquiles We also got a side of bacon and a side of cheese I tried to Chilaquiles they were spicy and super flavorful. We both got iced coffee's one sugar-free and one regular. I will definitely be returning here. The atmosphere was very chill. Plenty of seating, nice restrooms are server who I did not catch. his name was very attentive. And made sure we were taking care of the entire time checked on us frequently had a really great experience. I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu. Came here with some friends and family for some brunch, the wait was about 30-45 minutes on a weekend so I'd say not too bad of a wait. I came here with friends for a Sunday brunch get together. I wasn't happy how overcrowded and loud it was. The parking space is small so I had to drive up and down the neighborhood to find street parking. My GF ended up having to drive me to my car lol. I was definitely not so crazy about walking into a loud environment (unless I go to a bar with a band), and also that I could hardly hear the server when ordering etc but made the best of the situation. We had received the first round of flavored mimosas which were pretty good. But I barely tasted the flavor of the drink on the next round with the Tiffany mimosa flight. My friend said the blue drink reminded her of the Blue Hawaiian drinks she's had in the past. I ordered the Chilango Chilaquile omelette and loved it! It was very filling but worth every bite. It's a really cute restaurant with decorations all around for photo ops. I would suggest to probably try coming here during the week if you want to avoid the experience of the huge crowds. read more
