Paul was the best, however he sold Payless to Mag Payless within the last 4-5 years, they are now a horrible place to do business. I bought a brand new golf cart two months ago, the second time I used it last week. It threw codes and it quit working in the middle of the road. it be a brand new golf cart I pay 10k , the second s time I used it. I figured the dealership will take care of the problem. When I called them , they put me on hold forever and they were not fucking answer my questions. When I talk to service even asked them, they never asked me what the codes were to see if I could diagnose myself. They told me I had to bring it in, so they could fix it. That wouldn't even be a problem if I had a trailer to tow it. with .i call them multiple times and they hung up on me multiple times. Payless Auto Care in Blue Springs just performed nearly $500 in unauthorized repairs, none of which had ANYTHING to do with the issue we asked to have diagnosed. So far they have lied about indicator lights that were not illuminated prior to the vehicle being in their possession, along with yelling, cursing, and threatening me over the phone. My family has been going to Paul for a few years now, and I can't say enough good things. We had him quote us half the price of what other mechanics charge, he won't get ya on things that don't really need to be fix, and it's always done in a timely manner. One of the main things I like is its not a chain mechanic with a bunch of young kids they just hired. They don't give you a big list of potential things wrong trying to upsell you to get them more money. I hate more than anything I would go to get something simple done and they bring out 900 dollars worth of stuff that could potentially go wrong. Not here. I have been using Payless Car Care for over 10 years. Have had Paul and his folks work on my last 5 cars, the most recent a 2006 Scion that was done today. Their prices are very good, and I like that, but I use them because I completely trust them. They will only do work that needs to be done... nothing more. Very honest and straight forward owner. After moving to Blue Springs, I searched for quite some time to find an honest and reasonably priced repair place. This place fills both of those! Paul and everyone there is kind as can be. I really appreciate that I thought something was wrong and I took it in to Paul and he said, "I really think your car is adjusting, I think it's fine." and lo and behold it was fine! Been to many car places to have my car fixed since moving to Blue Springs and MANY were CRAZY overpriced and one I trusted said they fixed what was wrong... and a couple months later the check engine light came on so I took it back ONLY to get an estimate that had a problem listed to fix that they "SUPPOSEDLY" had fixed previously.....
