This place is still really good for a chain. It's clean. The soundtrack is a blast from the past. The employees are friendly. And the food still tastes like it was made by loving hands. During my latest visit, however, I learned that they they took eggplant parmesan off the menu. Why?

Branzino crab premium I believe is the name.

I haven't been to Maggiano's in probabaly a decade and I can definitely say that the prices have gone up. Which might also become a reason as to why I might not frequent it as much. This is located on the green space of baybrook mall. There is shared parking and you can park fairly close to the restaurant in a non-busy day. Bathroom and establishment is clean! Our server was awesome! He was friendly, attentive, answered all our questions, and had a great sense of humor. I wish I remembered his name but if you read this and remember serving a table of 10 with majority of his wearing orange shirts on a Friday at lunch time then this shoutout is for you!!! I had the branzino crab premium!?!? Special!?!? I can't remember the exact title but the server said it is one of their top ordered items. It was amazing and worth the money. The fish was cooked well and placed over mashed potatoes. The lobster cream sauce was heaven and you best believe I took the free bread they place on your table and dipped it in my sauce. It's a must! The side of asparagus xomplimented the dish well. Overall a 10/10 on the food and serve. There is a to go section so you can order ahead and pick up. There are also mints on the way out if you need a little freshing up.

This restaurant is one of my favorites. I love the Italian food they offer, and I've visited two different locations, always having a great experience. This time, I went with my family during the holidays. Although the wait was quite long (about an hour and a half), the staff was very friendly. Our waiter, Aldo, did an outstanding job, he was courteous, made us feel very comfortable, and took the time to explain each dish to my family, who were visiting for the first time. The food, as always, was delicious. The freshly baked, crunchy bread was a perfect touch. The atmosphere is cozy, with soft lighting and an elegant vibe that makes it ideal for special occasions. In the end, whether it was because of the long wait or Aldo's incredible service, the tiramisu we decided to order at the last minute was on the house. What a perfect way to end a wonderful dinner! I'll definitely keep coming back.

We went there for a family dinner for my daughter's 17th birthday. I was so amazed at what excellent service we received. From the time we walked in, it was great. They stayed on top of drinks and just over the top EXCELLENT service. Definitely will be back.

This is a large airy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was not busy. I had a smoked old fashioned (first time ever) and it was amazing. Our server Luis was professional and friendly and his recommendations were spot on. For dinner, I had the wagyu stuffed shells and hubby had the lobster carbonara. Both were delicious although hubby and I agreed that we would come back for the shells. So good. And yes we will be back.

Bartender super nice and helpful. On the special chicken parm the chicken was thin , dry and needed a knife to cut. Crust hard and darker than normal. Bread was soft with crisp outer which was nice.

My family likes to come here or we did in the past because we loved the to go meal deal they had and the food always tasted fresh and the drinks were delicious. Not quite sure why they have changed their ingredients and the way some things are prepared, but it is just not the same. And doing away with the to go meal deal they had was the worst decision. We likely will be choosing another place to go to from now on. The drinks that we ordered were inconsistent. The first round we got were the pomegranate martinis and they were awesome. Then we had the grand margarita which was absolutely disgusting so we switched back to the pomegranate martinis for our third round and they were not made the same and were sickly sweet and just not good. The food was just OK, but they've cut back on their portions and it just isn't made as good as it used to be honestly . Our server was amazing though, and she was very sweet and helpful

One bad experience can simply be an off day, and one amazing meal can be a one time success. A second visit tells you whether a restaurant is truly consistent. I am happy to say that Sofia's delivered both times. The pizza is delicious. It may not be the kind of pizza that changes your life, but it has everything a great pizza should have, a flavorful crust, quality ingredients, and great flavor. That said, do not come just for the pizza. A personal pizza is perfect to share as an appetizer, but the entrées are the real stars of the menu. I ordered the trout, and it was one of the freshest fish dishes I have had in a long time. It was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served in a generous portion. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, and the pasta that accompanied the dish tasted like something you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. My wife ordered one of the lunch specials for less than $14, and it was equally impressive, original, delicious, and generously portioned. Sofia's is the kind of restaurant that earns repeat customers. I will definitely be back, and I would gladly recommend it to my friends and family.

It was wonderful. The fish was delicate and cooked correctly. The rissoto was rich and delicious and was even better re-heated the next day. It would be easy to spoil your dinner on the bread. Service was excellent and we asked for a lot of weird subs and things. Our server was on it. We shared tiramisu and key lime pie for dessert. The lady fingers were a little too damp but the mascarpone was perfect. Unlike a lot of Italian restaurants, you didn't just get garlic garlic garlic. There are many things on the menu I am eager to try. And I don't have to go inside the loop. It feels very eleavated for the area. We will be back and soon.

I came here for my birthday on a Saturday. We had a party of 9 and I made a reservation in advance…read morebecause Saturday night just seems like a busy night to go eat anywhere... but I'm not sure my reservation was totally necessary. They had our table already prepared which was fantastic, but the restaurant was slow and not very busy. We could've just walked in and, other than having to wait for them to prepare our table, been seated right away. Our waitress, Moriah, was fantastic! She had tables on opposite sides of the restaurant, but since they weren't very busy it didn't seem to be an issue. There were a couple of times when we had to ask for drink refills, but it wasn't horrible. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, and I appreciate that they have some options that you wouldn't find just anywhere. That's the kind of thing I look for in a restaurant. However there were a few places where they fell short. 1. There was no kids menu. This may not be a big deal for a lot of people. It wasn't a big deal for me since my toddler eats pretty much anything, so we shared. It WAS however a big deal for my 6 year-old niece who does NOT eat anything. They told my sister that they could make some butter noodles or take the harissa off of a pizza and make it a smaller size for her. She opted for the butter noodles which were bland and unseasoned. Then they have no salt or pepper on the tables so she couldn't even season them until she asked for some. It helped, but they still weren't very good. 2. The food is overpriced. It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. I'd be happy to go if someone chose this as an option, and I might even choose to go back for a date night or something. I like the atmosphere of the place as well as how open it felt... I don't love a crowded space. Another thing I loved was the Smoked Caramel Bread Pudding. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I don't typically love added smoke flavor, but this worked! Listen, I LOVE bread pudding. If there's ever bread pudding on the menu, I'm going to get it. This being my birthday dinner dessert was absolutely fine by me. The edges were a little caramelized and it was absolutely delicious and everyone who tried it agreed. Give this place a try, but just know that you may pay a little more than what it's worth. It's still tasty food though! Also... try the bread pudding!

Came here for the sword fish that apparently they no longer serve as their menu had changed. After ordering, I did voice my concerns about the loud music and thankfully they changed it. I was able to enjoy my late night dinner with my husband. We ordered the Kataifi shrimp as an appetizer. They were medium sized served with a spicy tangy sauce. They were very delicious. For my main course I ordered the American red snapper which was also a unique dish as it was served on a corn husk with rice and beans. 3 whole crawfish, a corn and cold salsa verde sauce on the side of the dish. All was delicious except they should have served the salsa verde sauce warm instead of cold. It was still a delicious dish. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which was also delicious. It was served with a side of green beans, puréed potatoes with a foie gras gravy. They have a descent drink menu. I ordered the Friendswood 75 which was a little too sweet for my liking and my husband ordered the Gin and tonic. They didn't have Sapphire so he opted for the Tanqueray.
