I came here last night with my girlfriend and ordered pizza and a salad. The food itself was fine -- nothing amazing, nothing terrible -- but about 1-2 hours after eating, We both started experiencing severe stomach pain. Shortly after, We both simultaneously began violently vomiting and I have continued to vomit every hour for the past 5-6 hours. I'm not someone who leaves negative reviews lightly, but this was serious enough that I feel it's important to say something. We paid for food that should have been safe and edible, and unfortunately that was not my experience. I can't say with certainty what caused it, but the timing strongly suggests something was wrong with the food. I would strongly recommend caution and that the restaurant double-check their food handling and safety procedures before serving more customers. Typical Italian food choices - build your own pasta, pizzas, lasagna, etc. We decided on a chicken Caesar salad, pepperoni pizza and a fettuccini with meat sauce. My friend went to the counter as instructed and placed the order. The Caesar salad came to us first, which was with mostly iceberg and spring mix lettuce. It was like they ran out of romaine and just threw together what was leftover in the fridge. The chicken was oddly cooked. Not really grilled but seemed maybe like pan fried and a bit oily. Then pizza and pasta came. Pizza was the best of the three. Crust was decent and portion size was good for a medium. The pasta she brought had Alfredo sauce and my friend said he ordered meat sauce and the employee immediately said no, you ordered Alfredo (no apology, no "Let me check"). My friend said, no...I'm pretty sure I ordered meat. Then he said whatever, if you say Alfredo, it's Alfredo. The employee walked off, but to her credit, she checked the ticket and came back and admitted she was wrong. They fixed it but the pasta basically sucked. No flavor. The order was incorrect so the manager agreed to comp the order. When my husband returned to retrieve the correct order he was not comped the food. The last time we were here it was a very busy July 4 weekend evening. The food as always was quite delicious. We ordered the antipasto salad, spaghetti and a medium sausage and mushroom pizza. All were good and we had some leftovers to take home. Despite the crowding the service was efficient and good. The cooks in the back room were working like crazy trying to get all the orders out. The only suggestion I might have is to make it more obvious for people who come in after they close down before they physically close the restaurant. Not everyone gets the message that they stop serving an hour or so before they actually close and there seemed to be quite a few disappointed customers coming in the door. Cool place, but I wish they had a bar. Lots of seating, and good music in the background. Had the House Special Pizza and a "Bucket of Suds". All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The crust was light, crunchy and airy, which I don't prefer. I prefer a crunchy crust that has chew. This one is more like saltine cracker side. Everything was still really good. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I am new to the area and surprised at the amount of good pizza joints. This one is definitely a good spot and outside of the Big Bear Village madness. When I got my pizza pie went back to my truck to have dinner with my 2 German Shepards MAMA MIA !!! WHAT A PIZZA PIE !!! Pure Excellence I wish I would have taken a picture. Wow! We grabbed a pizza after a day fishing in the lake and YUM!!! So, a couple of days later we dined in for some tasty dinners. My niece ordered her own small pepperoni pizza and it was ahhhmazing!
