Terrible service!! Wanted me to cancel my Groupon, I said I'm not sure if I could and she said she'll show me how once I got there. Told me to come in 30 minutes. As I was heading out the door, they called and changed to 30 mins later. Then as I pulled into the parking lot, they texted me they couldn't come in until an hour later. Complete waste of my time and gas! So unprofessional and didn't even apologize. DO NOT RECOMMEND! UPDATE: Joanna, Groupon allows vouchers to be gifted, which we discussed on the phone and which you were fully aware of before scheduling my appointment. Despite that, you proceeded to book me and then pressured me to cancel my Groupon so you could "price match" and bypass the platform. That is not my responsibility as a customer and shows that YOU yourself are being greedy, opportunistic and trying to play the system. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced the impression that customers using Groupons are treated as a lower priority. While businesses are free to choose whether or not to accept Groupons, it is deeply unprofessional to accept them begrudgingly and then provide a subpar experience. To be clear: you called me at 2:00 PM to change my 2:15 appointment, then texted me at 2:13 PM, when I was already parked, to say you couldn't make the 2:30 time either and asked me to return at 4:00 PM. That level of disorganization is unacceptable and a complete disregard for my time, regardless of the payment method. After I left an honest review describing my terrible experience, you proceeded to text me late at night on multiple days, attacking my character and harassing me. I asked you repeatedly to stop texting me, and ultimately had to block you. This escalation over a $15 Groupon is unnecessary and troubling. Your time would be better spent managing your business and addressing all the issues you complained about. Your horrific behavior throughout this experience has only confirmed that this is not a professional operation and not a business I wish to support. Customers beware: Save yourself the inconvenience and drama and go elsewhere. There are many professional, respectful and fabulous nail salons in the area that value their clients' time (and do not bribe their customers with discounted services in exchange for a positive review). read more

Highly recommend! This place is located inside the shopping center on the corner by McDonalds. I called and got a same day appointment on a Friday! She text a video so I could find the shop' - which was very helpful. The shop actually faces the street so keep that in mind when looking where to park. Appointment only! I went here for a gel pedicure. Lady was very nice and friendly. Service was great and pretty fast. But most importantly pricing is super reasonable. Definitely recommend this salon. They do a lot of other beauty services too. Have facials/massages and lashes. Hope to come back and possibly try their other services! The vibe is chill and very nice as well. Cute shop they offer various services but make sure to call first. There was only 1 lady running the shop when I showed up at 3:20pm. I bought a Groupon for luxury manicure and pedicure. 5/5 attention to detail, callus remover was well worth the extra $10 and better than most I received previously. I have mixed feelings about Magic Beauty Wellness. I purchased a gel manicure + regular pedicure and I paid $38 on Groupon. Appointment: I called to make an appt on 5/31 for 6/16/2023 at 3:00 PM. I came around 10 minutes earlier and it looked like some of them were trying to take their lunch. During the phone call, I had specifically asked for Joanna (the owner of the shop) and I asked for her to help me since it looked like she had a few good reviews with her name mentioned. However, when I came in, Joanna had another worker help me out instead. I knew that the girl was not Joanna, and I pointed this out but she kind of disregarded my comments. During the appt, it seemed like the girl wasn't as fluent in English so we didn't speak much. She was actually careful with her work and patient. I had originally asked for another color, but it looked bad on my skin tone so we were able to wipe it off that one finger and start over. I was quite impressed with my gel manicure and with the shape of the nail. A few meh things though, unfortunately, she had given me a mini cut on the side of my index finger along the cuticle so that hurt a little bit. The second thing was my nails looked good but they started to chip on the 9th day mark. A little sad that they didn't last long... I had no issues with my regular pedicure. No pics cus no free feet on Yelp haha! Parking: The store itself is located on the side of Walnut Grove. I ended up parking where Mr. Dragon Noodle House/MCD plaza was and walked over. This parking lot can get a little crazy (so many stores + patrons) so it might be hard to grab a spot. However, when I came on that afternoon..I didn't run into any issues! Not really sure how I feel about this shop, I feel like my review is more of a 3-3.5 stars... so kind of mixed feelings for sure. read more

If I could give this business a zero I would. I spent over three hours at the salon and they left me looking like I did my own nails. They advertise gel X with ombré French and diamonds all over the fingers. They charge 135 for this service. The quality is extremely poor. I asked for medium length square shaped and they left me with a different shape in each finger. The owner was very rude and I would absolutely not recommend this business. This isn't a job that anybody should be proud of. It's false advertisement because they clearly don't know how to do nails. It was the owner who did my nails so even if they offer a free fix I will most definitely NOT BE GOING BACK read more

The new owner would call multiple times to ask if I could "come early" when I've made my scheduled time weeks in advance. And this would happen EVERYTIME. What kind of service asks clients to come early? My doctor doesn't do that. Not only so, right after the change of management my first set of chrome nails FELL APART. I've done chrome before and this never happened. The top coat peeled off the second day, and the powder moved around UNDER the top coat. By the end of first weeks only 3 of my nails remained intact. What finally drew the line was my second time, asking for chrome on my pedi, and it was so terribly done, not even and murky. You can see it in the photos. And when I asked to have it redone, they said they'll change it into a regular pedi, even though I've paid for the extra fee for chrome only to have it end up looking awful. Back when Janet was still in management, everything remained professional, and now I constantly see the new manager making Lina and other technicians take on 3+ customers in the span of 2 hours. LESS TIME SPENT, LESS QUALITY. It's so sad, I've had my nails done here for my engagement party, my honeymoon, my wedding, my baby shower... Yes Nails has been with me through so many important events... to see it fall to this point is devastating.

All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.
