So my first time here. I was getting mani and pedi and lashes. This was the first time ever for lashes. Chloe was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. She picked the perfect lashes for me. She ask did my manicure and shout out to Lu Lu for doing a fabulous pedi. You will have to try Gel builder if you're getting gel nails. I've never been offered this before in all the years of mani and pedi's This salon is the cleanest I've been too. Every instrument is sanitized . The vibe is warm and welcoming. There are sooooooo many nail salons on this street, but V&C Nail is officially my absolute favorite place!! Everyone who works here is so incredibly sweet, and I love how easy they make everything--you can literally just text them to book an appointment! I'm naturally pretty rough on my hands, so my manicures usually start chipping or lifting after just a week or two! But the quality here is completely unmatched to all the other places I tried just to see what's around here! V&C nail technicians take so much time with the prep work, from detailed cuticle care to getting the shape completely perf ! My nails literally last over a month without a single chip :00 I'm seriously impressed how every technician works with so much care and attention to detail! The services that I received with them were the eyelash application, manicure, and pedicure. Right away, you can tell the place is very well-maintained and they have lots of light. There is pleasant music playing in the background. The receptionists are very welcoming. Atmosphere is friendly and warm! Prices are straight to the point and they are accommodating with appointments and times. I had to move my appointment 30 minutes later the second day I went and I called them to see if we can reschedule for a different day. They were able to squeeze me in on the same day. While I was getting my eyelash application, my tech explained the different styles and made sure that I knew what was happening every step of the way. I'm very happy with the services here and the prices are great. Would definitely recommend! read more

It isn't loud or rowdy but simply tranquil and relaxing. The nail techs are talented and trained to do any nail design or technique. Thanks to a referral from my bestie. She always finds the best nail salons. This one is close to home, easy parking in the back or street (both options free). Staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. All good vibes and energy. Offered complimentary drinks. There are 6 manicure stations, 6 pedicure chairs, and 3 lash beds. Decor is warm lighting, creme/light wood colors and very clean. The walls of nail polish adds a nice pop of color to the interior. Aesthetics very pleasing and relaxing. Manicure chair with pillow - very comfortable. The nail tech who serviced my gel mani today, was Yuki. Extremely gentle process, no pain on my cuticles. I never know what is the correct word to describe the shape I want, so I really appreciate that they have a laminated sheet of visual reference with name and nail shape. Makes life super easy! Next time will need to book her again to try some nail art. This might not seem like a big deal, but the text reminders are really helpful. This tiny detail make my life just so many easier. A couple minor things- I did wish there was somewhere to hook or put my bag. I used the chair next to me (another mani station) since it wasn't in used. Hand massage was too gentle, perhaps it helps to ask "is this pressure okay?". And lastly, the sink area- I was afraid that my wet hands while grabbing the paper towels would accidentally get their drying items wet. Maybe drying items should be moved elsewhere. Otherwise, I'm definitely coming back again. In 2 weeks, I need to make an appointment to remove gel. And then again in a month for vacation prep. I hope they stay open forever. read more

I normally don't write negative reviews, but I was really disappointed with how my nails turned out. I got short Gel‑X French tips, and the application was done incorrectly. There were air bubbles, and because she didn't use enough gel during the initial application, she went back in with a brush to add more gel to fill the gaps. Then she had me put my hand under the UV light, and it burned my finger so much. There's also a huge gap between my natural nail and the Gel‑X tip, so dust and debris keep getting stuck in between. The last time I came for a pedicure, I had a great experience, but this time with the Gel‑X was not the same. read more

I always get compliments on my nails after getting them done here. Also, a huge thing for me is that after 4 weeks, the gel on my natural nails don't chip or lift!! First time comer here and I am extremely pleased to have discovered this place. I got a hard gel manicure with Chloe, and a gel pedicure with Shirley. Both ladies are wonderful. Both are nice and often would check in on me to see if anything needed to be adjusted, if I needed anything to drink, etc. The salon offers complimentary drinks so definitely take advantage! This is a long overdue review. I have been Chloe's customer for more than a year now. Although this location is New. I met at her former salon. I was very sad when I found out she no longer worked there and I had to find others to do my eyelashes and experience different salon, which I did not enjoy for a couple of months before I bumped into her again in this new location . 10/10 I love Chloe and the eyelash she did on me. It's extremely comfortable she is professional clean and nice. She knows what Customer needs. I am a frequent Eyelash extension customer I will say I have been nonstop having eyelash extension for almost 10 years now I have tried all different places from different technician. This is by far the best one. It's not only comfortable. The look is amazing. She can design for me when I request for more volume look or natural look and is so durable it because I also know how to take care of the extension. It usually last me about a month for every set that she did. So glad she is no closer to my home now. Highly recommend to everyone. read more

Awesome service and vibe ! Very clean and bright, comfortable chairs and great customer service. Mengmeng did my nails, they are absolutely beautiful. It took about an hour, but she was very good about every detail and my nails feel great. My mom came last time and brought me here, her nails stayed on for more than 2 weeks and she gets hers with charms. I got a plainer color for work, but they did have a decent selection of colors. I did bring this to her attention as well but there is a language barrier with someone translating. Now once she started shaping it wasn't even what i wanted. I want to keep my almond shape and it looked square. she also thinned out my nails so much they feel so weak now. At some points the drill kept getting hot and i also let her know. In the end the quality of the nails didn't even come out right or anything like i wanted. I had messaged over the phone as well asking if they did builder gel and was told they did and in the end got nothing with builder gel. Once i was done i asked how much and they tried to overprice me!! they tried to make me pay for gel-x $79????? plus $15 for the removal???? I appreciate quiet self-care time, but I definitely feel there should have been better customer service and a set price in the beginning. I will push for them to give me a set price next time. Other than that, I did like how thorough Kim was with my nails. She was constantly checking to make sure the nails were same lengths and she filed everything evenly, even the thickness of the nails were the same. I am very satisfied with the result. When I spoke up about my concerns, she had someone else take over. I also felt uncomfortable when she started speaking in another language during the situation. Overall, I was disappointed with the service and did not feel that the experience was handled professionally.

Being greeted by an adorable tiny dog set the right vibe. I got the Japanese gel mani-pedi with the deluxe spa which included hot stones on my legs, worth it! We moved from massage chair after pedicure to the nail station for my manicure. I'm use to having to balance the gel light machine on my lap so having the built in light at the nail station was an upgrade. Her prices are great and lower than many of the places I called in the SGV, while offering a more personalized experience than bigger places where you walk in and feel like a number. My biggest concern were my heels which if you're like me and wear sandals/slides most of year - well you know it becomes far from the soft baby smooth feet we all aspire to have. There was no judgement throughout and she even gave us detailed tips on how to keep the reptilian heels at bay. Brought the boo and he really enjoyed the experience as well (she did an infinitely better job than when he trims the talons himself). We're happy to have the opportunity to support hardworking small business owners like Denise and will definitely be back.
