    DON'T DO IT!! Their status with the BBB has been REVOKED!! am so upset and hurt about this whole situation. My car was tolled to Magic Ben on February 15, 2023 because I thought my battery went out, however, it wasn't the battery, it was an electrical issues from what they said due to water. When I picked my car up after several weeks of them having it, I noticed the back driver's side rim was very rusty as if it's been sitting for years since someone washed it. I brought it to the receptionist attention and she said oh it's rust because the brake pads are out, I said that isn't true, y'all changed my brakes in January 2023. Of course no response. It was the only wheel that looked rusty. I went back and the owner was very rude about it. He was able to show me pics of my car from January but refused to show me the pics from February 15, 2023 stating that the camera deletes pictures every week, however the pics he showed me was from his phone. I guarantee you that they looked at photos from January and swapped my rim with this old looking rim not realizing that they changed my brakes in January and since than I had my car detailed/cleaned after I got the new brakes. All of my rims where very clean when they worked on my car when it had electrical issue. I'm very disappointed in how this situation turnedr out and how the owner and workers didn't had a care in their face. I have a very expensive Mercedes and to be driving around with a one rim looking rusty/gold looking as if it has been sitting for years in the rain is heartbreaking. Don't just give them a bad review here, report them on Yelp, Google, every social media platforms, BBB and your local State council. Take your car to your local dealership and asked that they do an inspection on your car to make sure the parts number are what it should be because they are swiping your parts and putting in older parts. You work so hard for what you have, only for someone to take it right under your nose. The first picture is the rim they put on in the back driver's and the clean rim is from the back passenger side. And they tried to convince me that it is normal for one rim to get rusty even though both back brakes are bad. Bull!!! This type of business do not deserve to be in our community and I pray after reporting this to the State Council that they will not only investigate the establishment but refund me for a new rim or give me what I had on my car when my car got there.

    Estimate for a job that when you look in the WIS repair manual should not exceed 4 hrs at all.

    I brought my 2013 W212 Mercedes-Benz E350 in for a check engine light. I've had the light scanned several times. FOR FREE at advance auto parts, not only that but I brought them the codes when I brought my car in. When my car got to them, it was late in the day so I have to wait until the next day to get any pertinent information. The next day I called in to inquire about my car, I gave the woman Angela my email and waited for a response....they want $3000.... okay it's a Mercedes and You've got to pay to play, that's fine W/e. Well what is it that they wanna do? They're quoting changing my fuel pump on both sides. That's absurd. The fuel pump is actually easy to replace, no the parts were ~$900. That means $2,100 in labor... If the job took 8hrs, that's $250 an hour plus! That's more than the Mercedes dealer no? They must not know, I work on my car, take care, and cherish my car, I've knowledge about my car that would exceed that of a Layman. I've had my Mercedes fall on me with me under it as I was changing the differential fluid, luckily thanks to adrenaline I just leg pressed it off of me ( I have a witness). I say that to say, I know about my car. I asked "what they did to determine that my whole fuel filter needs replacement?" We scanned the engine.... then we didn't touch it. That's how you know I need a whole new fuel filter? You want $3,000 for something I told you?!?, no they want $175 for what I came in knowing already! They didn't even do any further diagnostics !! I asked if they looked at my sparkplugs? Nope! I came in for a misfire code!! They didn't even pull the plugs??? That's Misfire investigation step #1, nope the fuel pump is crapped out. Don't worry about the injectors either, all we did was scan we know its the fuel pump. They just determined my entire fuel pump is bad. This is how you get horror stories about Mercedes ownership, throwing parts at the car without proper diagnoses. They may be perfectly capable of maintaining a Mercedes, oil, brakes, etc, but in terms of needing an emergency repair?? They see dollar signs and all mechanical know-how is out the window. Also the SERVICE staff is GHETTO, they have no customer service, idc if you're not customer facing they didn't have any decorum befitting the Cachet of Mercedes-Benz. I know because I parked in the wrong area, see, you're actually supposed to park in front of where it says no parking. Finally, this is how I know beyond a reasonable doubt that they're in it for a quick buck: I asked have we checked the fuel filter? Maybe it just needs to be replaced? Angela told me that you don't replace only the Fuel Filter on a 2013 E350 W212 Mercedes-Benz... Lady the fuel filter is listed in the manual, the fuel filter only, but you're telling me that you have to replace the fuel pump, but the Owner's Manual clearly lists is as a wearable a component, separate from the whole fuel pump itself. Mercedes is casuistic and hairsplitting in their words, if you had to replace the whole Fuel Pump when you serviced the fuel filter, the Owner's Manual would clearly state fuel pump due for replacement. Beware if you need an emergency repair, they'll try to use your stress, anxiety, and presumed naivety to make a quick buck. These people want SURGEON MONEY, without bringing the expertise, decorum, and willingness to Pic related: Estimate for a job that when you look in the WIS repair manual should not exceed 4 hrs at all. The fuel pump is under the back seat, I'm not saying it's easy, but it's not a timing job either. I was ready and willing to pay for work well done. But to charge that much without having don in depth diagnosis shows time they don't have respect for the customers wallet. $175 for diagnostics, but I already know what the engine codes were, and the front desk lady Angela scanned it, she told me she's not a technician... so how in the hell you conclude I need a $500 part if all you did was scan and the person that scanned answers the phone and makes appointments.....? change your oil and brakes here only people, they don't have the intellectual tenacity it takes to deal with these cars, they're only looking for a quick buck

    I did not want to leave even a 1 star review. This place is only ok, if you are a slow adult that has suffered a traumatic head injury.

On 8/18/25, my daughter took her 2018 Audi Q5 to an Audi dealership in Silver Spring, Maryland for its 100k tune-up. During that inspection, the Silver Spring dealer said she had a coolant leak and that it was going to cost $8k to repair it. We hadn't noticed any leaks and the indicator lights didn't alert her that there was a leak of any kind, so we decided to get a second opinion. On 8/20/25, my daughter and I took her Audi Q5 to Jorge at Genuine Auto Repair for a second opinion about the leak the dealer found. Jorge was my regular mechanic, and I trusted him. I called Jorge and asked if he would look at my daughter's car to ensure its safety and that there weren't any issues before we moved her out of state. I purposely didn't tell Jorge of the issue discovered by the dealer. I wanted to see if he would come to the same conclusion. If the leak had been corroborated, we had planned to get rid of the car. Jorge said to leave the car with him. We returned several hours later, and Jorge told us there were no issues. I asked him if he got under the engine cover to get a thorough look, at which time he began to get fidgety and nervous. I said, I am asking because the dealer said there was a coolant leak, and we are trying to get a second opinion, he began fidgeting again and "offered" to put the car on the lift. He put the car on the lift and said he didn't see any issues and that there weren't any leaks, so I paid him $95 for the inspection. In October, the coolant light started coming on, and my daughter has since found out that it will cost 8k to fix. It's unsafe to drive. Now we have to get rid of the car. She is now without a car. I called Jorge on 11/17/2025 to let him know and asked him to refund my $95 he refused and argued with me instead. To the owner's wife's unintelligent response, you don't do the work on these cars nor have you at anytime been involved in any conversation I have had with Jorge about any repair he's fixed for me! You don't know what I can afford! Anyone with half a brain would not pay 8k to fix a car! We went to Jorge to get a second opinion about an issue and HE DIDN'T THOROUGHLY CHECK THE CAR LIKE I PAID HIM TO DO. That is the issue here. NOT DOING WHAT HE WAS PAID TO DO. Had Jorge really checked the car on 8/20/2025, and seen the leak, we would have gotten rid of the car. Instead, because he gave us a false "all clear", we kept the car, and the issue grew unknowingly, and now the car is unsafe to drive as of 11/17/2025. There are some cars that Jorge isn't equipped to work on, and he needs to be honest with his customers if that is the case, and NOT TAKE THEIR MONEY, BUT INSTEAD REFER THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE. Now either Jorge or his illiterate wife have just texted me this:

The day I brought my car to him, it was raining so he suggested we not try top speeds in the rain and asked if I could leave the car with him. The next day he text me immediately to update me on the condition of the car and what needed to be done. One issue was the front tires needed replacing (they don't do tires) so he gave me recommendations on where to get cost effective replacements and advised me on other possible replacements. When I inquired around what could wait vs. immediate needs he was transparent and told me what was a now fix even if it didn't put money in his pocket (like the tires). I'd definitely trust him with any future work. He seems to care more about your safety than just making a buck. Never tried to upsell me on anything and explained each step. Transparent. Ethical. Fair pricing.

    After two other estimates, I found Eddie's to be the fairest price and the best value. He does…read moretruly excellent work & came in on budget and a day ahead of the estimate time. The quality of his work is excellent, the paint matched perfectly. He vacuumed the inside of the car and fixed some loose trim around a window that I was not even aware of. Mr. Eddie seems to love his work and it shows. He is very respectful of disabled people and women and will not take advantage of them at all, in-line so many others in the industry. They earned 5 stars because although there were some inconvenient and frustrating scheduling discrepancies that occurred regarding my pick up date, they rectified the situation. The customer service was great. It was easy to get an appointment and connect with my insurance company to get the damage fixed. It has been my intent to call them to see how much they would charge to solely detail my car in the near future because it was that shiny all over and so spotless inside. Job well done for getting my vehicle back in superior shape.

I arrived at the shop 20-30 min after that phone call and found that the car would not start when I arrived. As mentioned previously the car was running and was driven to their shop and had to be towed out. The owner states they would like to handle this offline. As stated they will not return my calls and in the time it took to write that response he could have called me but did not. They did not charge me (I would hope not after damaging my car and performing unauthorized work) but it cost me $1200 to just to repair the damage they caused. The receipt is attached. I don't want anything from them at this point beyond admitting their mistakes and an apology for damaging my car and lying to me about it. But I know that's not going to happen so I just want to warn others to beware of this shop. Use their services at your own risk.
