I had another carpet cleaner (not Magic Solutions) out a few months ago because my cat had peed a few places on the stairs. The other guy sprayed some stuff on the top that smelled really strong and when it finally started to subside, I smelled pee again in addition to the fragrance (plus the guy was a conspiracy theorist who talked my ear off). After a few months I couldn't stand it anymore, so I accepted I had wasted a bunch of money on the other company and called Magic Solutions, and so glad I did! Morgan himself did the cleaning. He did a great job, the carpet smelled CLEAN after, not perfumed, and he actually got rid of the perfumy parts and the urine smell. Plus, he seems knowledgeable about pet odors and seemed far more honest than the previous guy. So, save your money, skip the other guys and hire Morgan! I'm already planning to make a regular habit of it. Red wine from an exploding wine bottle literally sprayed all over our gold colored sofa and loveseat both and we couldn't get it out with the usual home remedies. Gave a reasonable estimate--not, like some companies which estimate very low--but then add huge costs for "extras" (like getting out stains). Stuck to the estimate. Can't say enough good things about this company! They give clients the option of steam cleaning or a method that leaves the carpet nearly dry. Ours was dry in just a couple of hours. Morgan, the proprietor, was prompt, fast and left our carpet looking and feeling like new. All that in just a couple of hours. And while personality and attitude are not prerequisites to doing a great job, Morgan's obvious enthusiasm for the work he does was infectious. A friend told us of Magic Solutions Cleaning Company - a fellow with 20 years carpet cleaning experience starting his own business. Magic Solutions first cleaned our Burlingame home and did such a great job, that we persuaded them to travel outside of their San Mateo County territory and come up to the rural Sonoma mountains where the carpets in our home are challenged year round with mud and dirt. Also, our forests were burned in the Nunn's fire in 2017, so a lot of fire debris has been tracked into our house. Frankly, we felt getting them cleaned was a long shot, thinking we needed new carpets which have also been stressed by a lot of dog activity, most recently with our border collie choosing to birth her pups in the living room. Much to my delight, as I led the fellow from one stain to the next, he was not fazed at all. It took them a while because there was so much to do, but they did a spectacular job on the carpets, as well as upholstered chairs.
