I have used this shop already three times. Each time I have been treated as a welcomed customer. Not sure why, but I could not book appointments online even though the website says I could. I ended up calling to make an appointment. I was done earlier than expected. I was in and out within 15 to 20 minutes. They had a coupon online that I used, which made it an even better bargain. I will definitely return again as I have in prior years. And if you're in a rush, they do offer DMV services. It is a bit more than what the DMV would cost for registration, but if you're in a rush, it's good. I wouldn't wait too close to the registration due date. I believe you do need some time for the DMV to recognize the payment. read more

We've used this place for the smog requirements of the DMV and usually call ahead to ask how busy they are and they always accommodate us or friends that we recommend. They are certified and have made the process easy by moving the car into the garage and you can see what's going on the other side since the garage and waiting sitting area are visible. The price is reasonable and value if the electronic dmv required on the end of the smog shop made it easy to renew the registration. read more

Went in for a smog check and got charged for a full test just to be told the car failed and I need to pay AGAIN for another check. They could have plugged the car into the computer first and told me there was an issue before charging for the full service. Felt like a complete waste of money and time. They weren't busy and I was helped right away. The staff was friendly and I was done within 15 minutes! The Magnolia Smog Shop was easy to find and conveniently located iff of Magnolia. This is a straight forward smog shop. Decided to come here after reading some good reviews and being the closest shop to me. Arrived here an hour before closing. Owner/technician was with a customer and acknowledge me once I pulled up. He let me know he was almost done with the customer that was there before me and then he could start with my vehicle. Once finished, I handed my registration and he started with the test. He did a great job with the visual inspection and the actual test. Once done, he told me my vehicle had passed and just to give him a minute for the paperwork. He had no problem answering questions I had about another vehicle that I have that is non operational at the moment. Will come back here again for my next smog check. read more
