Ok look. Read the reviews, nervous going in. Here's my hot take. Small interior, 4 tops only. Nice decor and clean. This place kicks out more takeout then a lot of restaurants that I've seen. Staff. Normally I would get irritated that someone doesn't swoon over my needs. I don't think they are being intentionally rude, I think they're just busy and straight work focused. The food. That's the 5 star. People talking about it being bland, I have no idea what they mean. I loved the flavors in the pad soon sen and the Pad Thai. I got hot, I need to try Thai hot. Hot wasn't hot, and I like spice. Some regulars told me I should try the red curry with Thai spice for heat. They get a bowl to put on their white rice. Looked divine. See you soon, see you often. Five stars, but a couple of complaints. The food here is truly great. The flavor is deep, hearty and well balanced. I'm genuinely impressed, top of the notch, Thai cuisine. That being said, this is a gas station greasy spoon. Everything is pre-cooked, and comes out within 5 minutes after ordering. I'm genuinely impressed that it is 5 star good. The rice was soggy and square (pre-cooked, probably dumped out of a bag onto my toddler's plate). The water is terrible (not their fault). Def order soda, or the thai tea (ahmazing). The service is a little sketch, but probably also good for a gas station joint. I would certainly return. read more

¡BUGS! Wanted to try something new but I will never go here again. The food came out within a few minutes of ordering and was clearly premade and then reheated. The rice was greasy, mushy, and flavorless. I got through a bit of my meal and when I looked under the rice there were bugs! Never again. We brought it to the owners attention and she tried to convince us it wasn't a bug. We showed her the wings on the bug. She refunded use cash for just the rice dish. Never again! read more

A small family business but very solid!! The portions are hugeee for a regular price and everything was tasty. I loved their Thai green tea. I got the Pad Thai with chicken with a level 4 which was a bittt spicier than I realized so I think an average spice/ spicier would be 3. I absolutely love this restaurant. Their masamaan curry is something I dream about. They're so fast and it's always the same. My only suggestion is to allow online an option for no meat no additional vegetables. Last time I ordered no meat they gave me every vegetable they had plus tofu lol. Otherwise love it! read more

I absolutely love this place! I've been here at least twice a month because I love the pad see ewe! I always get it Thai hot (hence all the peppers in the photo) but you can customize the spiciness!! Not impressed by Bangkok Thai kitchen at all. After reading many raving reviews, I was expecting the best Thai in College town. Well my Pai Thai noodles were sticky and too spicy with a strange tomato based sauce. The service was below par. Our server had us waiting for ten minutes as she was cleaning tables. I guess that sitting customers can wait. The Bubble tea was excellent. The ambiance was nonexistent as the decor was cheap looking and not inviting. This place is a solid 9/10 for me and has been one of my go to take out places in College Station for the last few months. ------------ I almost always order the basil fried rice when I come here (Thai hot spice level, would recommend choosing the higher end of spice level). It's a solid 10/10 for me, the flavor of the rice, vegetables, and shrimp quality is too good. This has quickly become my post-exam reward meal . Their crab rangoons are also a 10/10, I've had crab rangoons from many places, but theirs are HUGE, fried immaculately, and filled with a lot of cream cheese. It is always a heavenly experience. I've also tried their Thai tea, and it's a 7/10. It always tastes a bit diluted and too sweet, but it does the job. I was so excited to discover this restaurant near my work. I ordered red curry, pineapple curry, and pad Thai with chicken. The red curry was nice with the perfect touch of spice. The pineapple curry was loaded with pineapple, and just as yummy as the red curry. However, I will never get the pad Thai from here. I will go somewhere else for pad thai. There were absolutely no bean sprouts, no peanuts, and no lime, and very very little chicken and no egg. Plus, it was a deep red and a very offputting flavor for me expecting to be eating pad Thai. I wonder if I was actually served pad Thai however, I'm not willing to ever try again, especially after reading another review that said the pad Thai tasted weird. I tend to agree, and will not go down that road again. So if you're looking for curry, this is definitely a winner. read more

The place is very small and the decor is a hodgepodge of stuff but it's clean. The menu has a lot of options and most dishes have your choice of meat options. I got the yellow curry with tofu and it was good. I will say that the level medium spice was a lot hotter than I expected. We ordered the Thai fried rice (its ok, nothing special), Pad Thai (flavorful and delicious), Pad Kee Mao (flavorful and yummy), Chicken Sateh (juicy chicken on a stick with the delicious peanut sauce), egg roll (crispy and delicious), fried cheeses sticks (have to eat it in the beginning to get that gooey string cheese.Red Curry (pretty delicious). We also ordered Thai iced coffee which was very good and they add boba mochi balls. Overall, delicious Thai food for a very reasonable price. I wished they had other dishes that I'm used to eating back home in Hawaii like beef Thai salad or Evil Jungle curry, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Went with my girlfriend, she ordered tom kha (which was chicken) and they brought out tom yum with shrimp, which she is allergic too. No big deal, we sent it back and they brought the tom kha. We got the pad see ewe, Tom kha chicken, spicy eggplant chicken, and pineapple curry duck. The Tom kha was very pleasant. If I were to order from here again that is what I would get. It was very flavorful and rich. The salad was supposed to be mild but it was somewhat spicy, like a medium-hot. That wasn't what we ordered, but it was interesting and not bad. The duck was not worth the seven dollar markup. It was not well cut and didn't really fit with the curry. The spicy eggplant salad was not spicy, but it had a pleasant sauce. I would not recommend this place what so ever for a date night or a spot to hangout with friends it is very unwelcoming. The customer service for this place gets a 0 there wasn't a single employee that was friendly. All that being said we had dumplings and curry which were all good. I came here with a group of friends during a conference for lunch one day. Over all the food and drinks were great. The only bump was I had to go search for silverware for my group because they never brought us any. Not a big deal since it was right by the register. I ordered the Pad See Ewe with a spice level of three. It was definitely white people spiced so I could have upped the level a bit. The food however was delicious and the staff friendly. It was a little more expensive ordering from the yelp app, I should have just called it in, they are so helpful! I needed to make special requests for some food allergies and they were very helpful and understanding there as well! Also, if you guys could update your menu to at least mention that rice dishes already come with rice that would be great, sorry if I missed that part but I was not sure how that went. They provide large portions ( which is great for me bc that is lunch and dinner the next day) and they are very quick to get your order ready. I ordered the cashew chicken with brown rice and edamame. The edamame was unseasoned and dry. There was very little chicken in the dish and the lettuce had gone bad. The brown rice was cold. The flavor of the dish was fine, but it was definitely one of the more average Cashew Chicken dishes that I've had in my life. I didn't dine in but was pretty confused to find the restaurant attached to a gas station. I don't judge until I taste the food, but the ambiance definitely was not a plus. The Thai tea is the best I have ever had - I can't order just one. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. The portions are just pleasantly heavy without being overboard. The range of available spicy levels will cover ANYone's desires¡ and this is a big plus for me and the wife. Tip: they give a very impressive discount for cash payers ;-) I do highly suggest the Pad Woon Sen - the unique noodles are divine!
