Food: 10/10 I get the garlic cheesy bread and customize my pastas by noodle to sauce. I love how flexible they can be! Service: I've sat at the bar and tables, everyone is quick and attentive. Ambiance: it's a chill vibe, dim lighting and a good place to catch up with people or meet for drinks.

Came here with a big group for dinner. I tried some of the apps which were all tasty. The bruschettas were well prepared, and the calamari were perfect. I ordered the mussels for my main, and I would definitely pass on these. The tomato sauce didn't go well with the dish and overall it was a complete flop IMO. I also had the sausage rigatoni dish and it was amazing. The sausage was soooo tasty and there was so much of it. Would definitely recommend getting the pasta here. Service was good, drinks were average, and prices were a bit on the steep side for Indy, but good for a nicer occasion.

Recently tried the Apple Cider mule and it was delicious! Loved the fresh apples on top. As always, the Spicy Chicken vodka was also perfect.

My friends and I went here later in the evening one day. We ordered pretty quickly, as we knew we didn't have too long before they closed and we don't ever want to be in anyone's way...though the food was good and the restaurant itself was pretty quiet, the service just wasn't there. I'm not sure if it was cause the server was ready to go, but he seemed dismissive and we felt rushed. I don't ever want to leave not so great reviews, but being in the service industry for some time now, it's never okay to make a table feel like they shouldn't have come in. I'll be back to try it again, because I truly did enjoy the food..I just hope to have a better server.

Very cozy ambiance ( we went kind of late though). Our server was amazing vigilant, and helpful. the bartender was solid and made what I requested to a T. and the food was great. I'll be back to try more.

I was craving Italian food one day, and I am glad this place popped up on Google maps. Be sure to snag a reservation if you can. The place is dimly lit and the ambiance is perfect for a date or a night out with family. I highly recommend the Garlic Parmesan Bread and the Vodka Rigatoni. The service the first time I went was great, but the second time I went, it could've been a bit better, but I overall recommend going to try this food!

Always a great place for date night or girls night. I've love the gluten free pasta and my go to is Cacio Pepe with chicken. Amazing service and good for groups. Great wine list and location too!

I may not have enjoyed the cacio e pepe but I keep coming back for the ricotta bruschetta and the rigatoni Rustica. The Rustica is so good my husband and I both get it. The current seasonal sangria is the best! Always great friendly service and a great ambiance.

We had a wonderful visit here. We happened to visit during Devour week, so we got a fantastic deal that enabled us to try a lot of different dishes. We were very happy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

Rigatoni Rustica - Excellent, well-balanced and generous portion.

We were able to snag a last minute reservation at this home-y Italian restaurant in Fountain Square. Dimly lit, with a romantic feel, this place was perfect for a date night. Jordan was our waitress and she was very friendly and attentive. My date ordered the apple cider mule and raved about it! I tried their Caesar salad, which was prob in my top 5 Caesar's I've ever had. Very delicious. We ordered the chicken vodka rigatoni and the chicken parm and we savored both dishes. Note- the rigatoni was a bit Al dente, so if you're like me and prefer a softer bite, it may be worth mentioning. For a very affordable, authentic Italian dinner, add Maialina's to your list!

Maialina, Maialina! This is probably the best Italian restaurant in Indy at the moment. It is a small, quiet storm in Fountain Square that is quaint, cute and the food is full of flavor. For staters, we ordered the cheese bread, marinara and the seafood fondue. The seafood fondue is to die for. You must get the fondue with the cheesy bread. It is rich in flavor with a bit of spice. You will certainly keep going back for more. We had the calamari which was lightly breaded and cooked just right, nice and tender. We also ordered the vegetarian and beef versions of the bolognese rigatoni. Both done beautifully. We ended the night with caps..the white russian was made to perfection, if you like a dessert cocktail. Parking is always available in the area and there wasn't a wait to get seated mid week, after work. I am sure this is a different story on the weekend regarding a wait. I experienced my first visit with co-workers but this would be a great place for date night, special occasion, family meetup or a casual visit with others or alone.

I've been waiting to try Maialina and it was fantastic! Our table tried: nonna's meatballs, Parmesan garlic bread, calamari, Caesar salad, arugula with lemon vinaigrette, rigatoni rustica, cacio e pepe, sausage pasta and salmon. All outstanding and delicious!!!! Entrees came out steaming hot! For dessert we had pistachio cheesecake and lemon torte with berries. We will be back again! If you want a quieter experience be sure to ask for the third room. First bar area is rather noisy, and the second area to me felt like a flurry of activity.

The entrees (the monkfish special and the carbonara) were good but not great. I did appreciate the crispy, smoky pancetta in the carbonara but the monkfish had a somewhat mushy texture rather than the he firmness we would normally expect. The biggest issue, though, was the check. The calamari never came off, the meatballs for the children's pasta were more expensive than what was on the menu, and we were charged for an extra calamari dipping sauce that we did not ask for. Most of these problems were fixed but the whole thing illustrated a lack of attention to detail and an appearance of up-charging the customer in any way possible. Overall: Food: fair 4/5 Service: decent 3.5/5 Pricing: suspicious 2/5

The flavors melted together in a creamy tomato sauce with the perfect amount of spice. It was genuinely the best sauce for a seafood pasta and the shrimp and noodles were both cooked properly and to perfection. Nothing was overcooked. Every bite was like heaven. I tried my friend's pastas as well and the Tortellacci was suprisingly so tasty. The amount of lemon they add in the sauce pairs so nicely with the cheeses they used. I say "surprisingly so tasty" because to the naked eye it doesn't look that special but when you take a bite your eyes get big because it's so good lol. The chicken was also insanely tender!!! However, at this price point, the plate was pathetically filled with barely anything. So they're charging high prices, trying to present themselves as a great place to be, and yet are feeding you less than the competitors out there. Our server was very nice, however did not know what tentacles were. Our server was slightly attentive but slow. The two pasta dishes we ordered were very disappointing. The sauce tasted like they came out of a jar and they were definitely not homemade or made from scratch in any way shape or form.
