I got there at 9:00A, i didn't realize but they don't open until 9:00A. The lady saw me but didn't open the door until 910A. I told her my situation and she immediately told me they didn't have my package until after 1PM. I called UPS and they said it is there. It is an insulin pump, my current one is broken. This is an emergency and because she was lazy, I still don't have it. read more

I really dont see how this place has bad reviews. I go here all the time because I live near by and they are always super fast! and very helpful. i go in their with prepaid packages that are still open and the girl just takes care of it. at other places they always hassle me to wrap it before i give it to them. one place even made me buy my own tape because they said i cant borrow theirs!lol i will always go here as long as i live here because of the hassle free service. read more

Its your one stop shop!!! Cheapest place you'll find a fax in town! Quick in & out service ALWAYS & the girls there are so helpful! SAD to see that business has decreased due to the owner's not being present & having let the store go pretty much! Making it difficult to provide top notch service as before!! There has been quite a bit of staff changes over the past few years & I see the girls doing the best they can to provide excellent service given the current circumstances! I've been meaning to write a review on this place. A few months ago, I needed to get some copies and mail an item. I was happy to see there was a shipping place in San Pedro so close to my house. My happiness was short lived. First of all when I walked in there were NO other customers, yet I had to wait while the two women working there had a nice long, personal conversation with the Postal Carrier as if I wasn't standing at the counter. When I finally WAS helped, the younger, extremely rude chic, just stands there, and looks at me. Her expression basically said, "Yeah?". I would have walked then but I really needed this item mailed and I was exhausted. The older woman ended up helping me as the younger chic scowled in the back. It turns out the woman helping me knew very little about her job and continually asking Little Miss Ridiculously Rude questions. She would growl the answers from the back of the store or come up front, but not before she rolled her eyes at me. Again, I was so tired I ignored their stupidity and horrible customer service and focused on getting my document mailed. It was interesting how they bent over backwards to be nice to the mail carrier, who WASN'T a customer... Anyway, I ended up overpaying 20 bucks to send a document to Santa Monica, CA overnight. It was a really bad experience, VERY trailer park... in a bad way... Go to the Post Office on Western. Great people, professional and surprisingly fast. read more

The worst and most unprofessional company, don't ever send any important packages or any packages with Ship N Mail. I dropped of a very important package at 1 pm on a Thursday for overnight shipping (UPS). Ship N Mail, dropped the package at UPS at 8 PM, a full 2 hours after the cut-off time and of course the package did not arrive the next day. Even worse, Ship N Mail had my contact information and did not contact me to let me know that they were going to miss the UPS deadline, they just sent it any way knowing the package would not arrive. Had they told me they were missing the deadline, I could have used a same day delivery service the next day. This company is pathetic beyond belief. read more

Every time I go to this place I get an attitude! The service sucks, and they will absolutely NOT go outside their rigid little box. Had to mail my tax docs on the 15th. Got there just at six and she DELIGHTED to tell me "Sorry we close at six." The place was wide open. She simply didn't freakin care. Bottom line: STAY AWAY. read more

When to take some packages up to drop off, which I already had labels printed and paid for, and I was told it's $1 to drop off packages now. So I grabbed them and walked right out, to drop the off across the street free of charge. I even used that $1 that I would of had to spent for nothing on bubble mailers I could actually use. This place is HORRIBLE! After what happened to me and what the San Pedro Post Office Manager told me I was surprised people were in line doing business with these rip-offs! I went in on the the 7th of December to mail a package to Croatia. I told the lady that I needed to have it there as fast as possible, she told me if I paid $85.00 that it would be there in 9-10 business days. It never left California until the 22nd of December! It is the 10th of January and my son still never received his Christmas Present. I called the Rude person and they told me that I had to take it up with the post office, so I went down there and the Manager was in tears and shaking because every day she received complaints about these rip-offs. She told me that my package was sent regular mail and it cost them $20.00, $30.00 if they sent it express. Because she sent it through just regular mail and not express for $85.00 it was hung up in Los Angeles until the 22nd of December. I plan of filing and claim in Small Claims Court and doing all I can to get my money back. Sad that a company like this is allowed to exist, I understand making a profit but highway robbery is another. read more

I have had a box at this place for years. I used to rave about their service and friendly manner. NO MORE! They used to call and let you know when I had a package. Seldom does this happen now. Ever since the business was sold, the service has gone down. Today (Saturday of Labor Day weekend), I had a package delivered. I needed it in a hurry and had it sent 2nd day with Saturday delivery. I even had it set up to give me a text message on my phone when it was delivered, which I got around 11 AM. I got there a quickly as possible, but much to my surprise when I got there at 1:45 PM, and they are supposed to be open until 3 PM, there is a hand written note on the window saying they closed at 1PM!!! Needless to say, I didn't get the package, didn't get to finish my computer project that I had promised to a client, and generally lost a lot of money. Just because someone wanted to leave early with no notice at all!!! On Tuesday I will be most probably looking for a new mail box service. This is the second time this has happened. There will NOT be a third. If it was not such a pain to get new business cards printed, and send out the change of address, I probably would have moved on after the first occurrence. I guess it is first time, shame on them, second time, shame on me for letting it happen. I do miss the previous owners and friendly crew from the old days. read more

Probably with new management or employees this place has improved. I needed to ship 45 sheets of watercolor paper (finished artwork) to China. Not only did they have a box already made but I got a discount. The whole shipment weighed over 20 pounds and cost under $400 with FedEx Economy. The package got to China on time and in great condition. We've used them in the past to mail larger shipments and found them to be efficient and professional. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! I went into Ship N Mail on May 18th 2015 and asked if they were able to ship a letter pack to Croatia through DHL and the clerk told me yes but that it wouldn't go out until the next day because it was passed the cutoff. That was fine and I paid $77.29 to ship documents to my father. I was under the impression that everything was fine until I received a message from my brother on May 28th 2015 that my father still had not received the documents. That evening when I got home I tried tracking the package on DHL's website only to find out that the waybill that I was provided only after I asked for a copy had no record. At that point I called DHL and found out that the package was never picked up by DHL with this waybill number. The next day I went back into the location to find out what happened to the package and was told that the package was shipped FedEx on May 26th 2015. When I asked why I wasn't notified the person helping me said she didn't know why the clerk that helped me with the package didn't call me and tell me but she was the one helping me so she should of called me. Then she said we don't have an account with DHL and she knew that so she doesn't know why she said that they could ship it DHL. The clerk helping me on May 29th 2015 claimed to be the manager and the owner and the best she could say was sorry. When I told her that they had horrible customer service and that I would NEVER use them again her response was "Ok". What business owner and/or manager responds to customers this way? read more
