Went on a Friday night and had a blast with my family. Summary: had a great time with the family bowling, eating and playing arcade games!!! Will defiantly be going back! Don't understand why other reviewers gave such bad reviews. Bowling: graphics were awesome and system seemed to be pretty high tech and we experienced no problems. I don't bowl much but I had a blast bowling here! The music (and monitors) and the lights provided for a really good vibe. They also provided for the very easy to slip on bowling shows! Food: I think we ordered everything on the menu and almost everything tasted pretty damn good! Everything was warm and tasty. I thought the French fries were a bit over seasoned (with a salty after taste) but that was my only concern. Service: really really good. I felt like everyone was willing to help and that made everything else great as a result. Arcade: had a blast! They had almost every game one could imagine... including a giant screened 2 person pac man arcade game! Fun times!!! Summary: so many more things to do here! Take the kids and have a blast! We had a birthday party for my son on Sun 8/28 and were incredibly disappointed in the service there. The sales team was great and everything leading up to the party was totally fine but the servers that we had were really bad and made the event so much more stressful than it should have been. We had 2 servers that were incredibly unprofessional and bad at their jobs. When the party started and kids were out playing video games, I kept asking if they were going to be bringing drinks out since pizza time is typically a mad rush. They kept assuring me that it was coming but it never did. They came up to me and asked if they could each have a party favor that were meant for the kids. I wanted to be nice and told them yes and they each grabbed one and spent the whole time playing around with each other and the other servers with it?? Then they came up to me again and said that all the servers loved the favors and could they ALL also each have one at the end of the party. I was a little taken aback because these are toys for the kids but said that if there were any leftovers at the end, they could take some. And then they asked AGAIN (3rd ask) just to make sure they could. This already left a bad taste in my mouth since they were literally just playing around with each other for an HOUR AND A HALF. The party started at 3:30pm and at 5:15, the kids were going to have pizza. They told me they would help rally the kids but were nowhere to be found. To their credit, they did bring the pizzas out around 5:00 (but no drinks at all). So me and the parents rallied all the kids, we had 26 kids come sit down who were hungry and thirsty and NOW is when they decided they should start making drinks. It takes them 10-15 minutes to bring out half the drinks and there are 24 thirsty 7 year olds asking for drinks. The drinks they did bring out did not have straws so parents had to run around finding straws for their kids. So at this point, about half of the kids without drinks and when I asked the servers about the remainder of the drinks, they said they are out of lemonade and only had soda left. So half of the kids didn't get a drink or they just got a cup of water. While the kids are eating, both servers completely disappear. They did not clear the plates, did not help with serving the pizza, did not help with the birthday cake, did not help cut or serve the birthday cake or anything at all. Luckily, we had some parents around who could help serve pizza, helped me clear all the plates, and passed out cake. When the cake was cut and we were waiting for the kids to come back from laser tag, I flagged one of them down to ask if we could have forks for the cake. She said they were out of forks?? Not sure how a restaurant could be out of forks. But she gave us some plastic spoons. Once the kids were eating cake (after the parents did all the serving for them), they asked about the party favors again and then gave me the bill. We were charged a service fee of $77, which is a little ridiculous considering the awful service we received. But it was my son's bday and I didn't want to complain, so we just paid for it. I really wanted to let someone in charge know about our experience. I emailed the sales department the day after since that was the only email I had and did not hear from them...I hate posting on yelp since the servers we had could have been outliers but I'm not sure how to let someone in charge know about the quality of their service. I really hope this isn't the standard level of service for your events because there is no way that anyone that attended that party would ever consider throwing a party here. read more

This was a nice surprise for a team meet and greet. Same with about 40 others we bowled, played pool, ate some Mexican food, played games for about an hour. It was a funny but welcome way to start a working relationship with our new company. It was like being a kid again. I'd really like to shout out a fellow hispanic, who had to have made the steak tacos because it reminded me of being at home eating tacos con mi familia. Don't come here. The customer service is bad. Our server never came and you can only get whole pizzas at the bar. We also got drinks but because we went to the bar. This is not the first time either. I came here on a company's expense and I was on the clock. There was about 50 of us in the department and we all got to bowl, eat, and choice of laser tag, billards, scocce ball or shuffleboard. They got us acquainted quickly. We took up 10 lanes haha. The bowling was very fun and shoes pretty comfty & clean socks. The food was put out buffet style for lunch we had: Cheeseburger sliders (delicious) Artisan tacos Warm pretzels with cheddar or dijon dip Homemade cooked parmesan potatoes chips Chicken fingers and endless drinks all day. They got me full and probably had to reload food about 3 to 4 times and they were quick! Many of us opted for laser tag (30 of us) and we were on a wait list but Autumn accommodated us nicely (on company's time so we had a schedule) and we all got to play! The system is really cool and it has an adjustable belt so you can fit even if you are large. The arena was very humid and warm inside there was absolutely no air flow so that was bad cus being in there runnin (says no running but cmon) round shootin works a sweat! Wish it lasted longer and reloading was complicated. All in all, I had such a great time not just because it was free but everything was great!! read more

Thursday evening 7-10. This high tech venue is beautiful, Laser tag, bowling, billiards, video games, food at the lane and a full service bar. Lip stick on a pig. The food was average, which for a bowling alley or arcade is good, and that was the highlight of the evening. As you walk the venue you can see a remarkable business model if it worked. The failing review is based on the execution. My gal and I went here with a meet up group to bowl. The lanes are charged by the hour and the lane we where in had technical issues through out the evening. Three people would bowl a frame in the lane next to us while we waited for one ball to return in our lane. Eventually we were moved to another lane but the paltry 20 minutes they'd comped the group of 5 of us bowling no way reflected the lost time. The service for the first 30 minuets seemed to be OK but our server quickly lost interest half way through the event bringing us a check. The rooms are filthy, the laser tag was inoperable, the gift redemption unmanned, we watched a guest wander seeking assistance and the games are over priced. I believe with an effort to deliver service and the business model fully functional the owners believe this model can dictate these prices. Unfortunately the poorly managed location demonstrated a lack of regard for obvious policy and even fire exits had stacks of boxes in front of them. So far I've been to this location twice with my company and we've had tons of fun. We bowled and got to enjoy our own private lanes. They also provided food, this place is good for large parties or gatherings. The back portion has all of the arcade machines and off course laser tag. The bar and the billiards section caters to the older crowd and allows for appeal to more than one crowd. The bathrooms are very spacious and cleaned very thoroughly. That same statement can be made about the parking lot and the amount of space it covers. There has never been really bad parking there is usually always enough space for people to find parking. The inside is a no smoking zone but people are more than welcome to go outside and smoke. Only thing that stops that fifth star is the loss of my $200 earring in the heat of laser tag that was never found by the staff. read more

We moved to the laser tag area carrying the pizza and drinks by ourselves and found that the next laser tag game was until 30 minutes later. These "unlimited" passes are a complete scam. This is the last time we will come to this place. Most expensive 1 hour of bowling ever. I also have to agree with other reviews, the employees are wandering around like zombies, there is no one to help you. Went to Main Event as a kid and remembered having a good time, but it's clearly gone way downhill. Pretty much as soon as we walked in the door we got a less than stellar attitude from the workers at the bowling counter. When we started bowling, the score was incorrect on the first round. With this being said, our server Louie was lovely. When we moved on to the arcade everything went even more downhill. Practically every game we tried to play was broken or malfunctioning. The girl at the game counter was awesome and helped us as much as she could, but they were out of pretty much every prize too. Really poor experience overall. 07 November 2015, between the ours of 6pm and 9pm. I actually enjoyed every aspect except one of being here and spending time with my family of which I had not been able to in last few months due to a job that requires extensive travels and time away. However, being new to the bowling lanes, I attempted to get one of the servers attention of which I understand was over to assist someone else, but was totally ignored. Then when I asked one of the staff that was cleaning up an area, how do we order food for my area, she asked my lane number and said she would have some come over and that she would be back to follow up to ensure our order was taken, only to needless to say 45mins later game over and it never happen. Sometimes, it truly is the little things that matter, but I asked how to order the food, because I was willing to walk over and do it myself, but was offered a service which would allow me to spend that time with my family with a concern and that failed. read more

Eutimo (Tim) Ortega is why we keep coming back to the Plano location. Unfortunately his shift ended, but he stayed to welcome our party at 7 pm when he did not have to. He made sure we had everything we needed first before leaving. TO START: The reservation process was confusing because I kept on being passed from rep to rep. I had to constantly reexplain myself twice to 2 different people over the phone of what I wanted. The VIP area was loud and hard to hear. We needed additional chairs since we did not have enough in our VIP area. We were promised 6 bowling lanes and only received 4 bowling lanes. The manager on duty stated that the other 2 lanes will be done shortly and will be cleared for our group. It never was. When our group wanted to start bowling on the 4/6 lanes; we had to wait an additional 20 minutes to have them activated to play. NONE of the play cards worked. We distributed them to our group and was extremely frustrated when: 1) We noticed and notified the front desk girl that the play cards did not work. She stated for us to swipe and it will automatically activate. 2) We went back onto the floor and tried what she suggested and it STILL did not work. 3) We asked for the manager and the manager asked for us to gather all the cards back on OUR event day. 4) I refused to gather the cards since it would take away from my enjoyment night. She then created new play cards for me to redistribute. 5) I then spent time to go back to each individual person to redistribute the cards. 6) By the time I finished the ordeal; I could not play any more games since the limit was only 2 hours, BUT I SPENT the 2 hours fixing the mistake. NEXT: For pool, the manager stated that we would have 2 reserved pool tables under our name. This did not happen. We placed our name to play pool and could not play pool until AFTER we left when we received a text stating our pool table was available. FINALLY: We asked for a private room for laser tag for our group. When we showed up at our scheduled time of 9:45 pm; random families and children were included in our group. Our waiter was PJ and promised he would be available for our drink orders as well. Our whole group continuously walked to and from the bar to order drinks. Some feedback? If there is a "special group or party", the emphasis should be on the "special". We felt like we were regular Saturday night guests that got overcharged for below par service. Some positives? We have booked plenty of private VIP special events at this particular Main Event before. Each time; it has always been serviced by Eutimo Ortega. He has always done a over exceptionally great job. If I could I would give this zero stars. Today I went and scored a 1000 prize jackpot. I thought that it automatically came to card. When I checked, I only had 215! Where did my 1000 points go? We went to the rewards area and the 4 of us told him. He was looking down when we spoke to him. He didn't have any manners at all! The 4 of us told him to look at the screen. But just went on his phone for the 3 seconds he was there. All he did was give us a refund of 10 credits. The jackpot was a rare occurrence. How am I supposed to redo that with just 10 credits! First and last time. I went on Sunday and bought the 14.99 activity pass. I was told as long as lanes were available we could bowl. We had an issue and had to call someone over to assist with problem on lane. The clock is ready running on game time, they never answer the buzzer for assistance and you have to walk over to have time extended every time. It was before noon and there not a lot of people inside but for some reason you couldn't find anyone to help. Laser tag was closed the entire time I was in facility , so not much you could do without spending additional money. I wouldn't recommend pass to anyone. read more

Came to this location to have a good time. Saw Jordan, a manager, harass kids about stuffed animals that were taken from a broken machine. These stuffed animals were placed back into the machine for other patrons to win and take home. With covid and other communicable diseases is main event not worried another the spreading of germs?
