Came here for my sisters birthday. It was fun! It's a big place. Not cramped. Spacious I love it. There was also a game going on that day too. They had huge screens by the bowling area but you can see it even if your not playing bowling. So of course the game was on and it was fun to watch. They also have gravity ropes, mini golf, pool tables, hockey tables & video games. Also they have a photo booth to take photos. Some days they have deals going on for $7 for bowling or laser tag & so on. Sign up for emails to be in the loop. Came to Main Event to celebrate a pre-birthday weekend for my husband. The hostest was great she got our 10 person party seated right away. Food was perfect. I ordered the huge $15 sundae for my husband. We got half way and my husband found two pieces of plastic in his sundae. The waitress says oh I'm sorry what can I do? Well I told her what can you do? this is horrible. She took it to the back and found out that one of their containers were broken and must of fell in. All they could do was waive the ice cream. Main Event has something for people of all ages. Arcade games (with tickets that you can redeem for prizes), bowling, laser-tag, billiards, shuffleboard, and a high ropes course. On top of all that, they also have a restaurant inside that you can get food at between games. Definitely a good place for a birthday party for youth kids--as it has everything they'd enjoy. I've been here multiple times and have done something every time and have always been able to be pretty entertained. The downside of Main Event is that they because they have so many things to do, their customer service is spread pretty thin. We went for bowling yesterday, and rented 3 lanes for two hours. At one point, one of the lanes wouldn't reset/rerack the pins. The button wasn't working, and the "call for service" kept saying that all of their customer service reps were busy at the moment. We had to ask out waitress to get somebody to help us. But after 20 minutes of waiting, they finally came to fix it. Another small issue that wasn't too big of a deal, but still was an inconvenience to us, was waiting on our waitress. We finished bowling and were packing up when we gave her our payments for the food we had ordered. But we still had to wait around for 10-15 minutes until she came back with our change/credit cards. Overall, Main Event is a great place to hang out. They have lots of different activities for you to do and keep yourself entertained. But that's also their problem. They have a lot of everything, but don't really excel at any one thing. read more

This was not the best experience. When I went I was excited to try everything there but when I went to do arcade games many games were shut off or just were not working as intended. For example the Beat Saber Game kept freezing and going black another thing is the VR headset wasn't even new it looked like an oculus rift and had terrible vision inside. Bowling was enjoyable by enjoyable I mean the chicken nachos were awesome besides that it was an ok day I still had fun but there is a lot to fix. One thing Main Event should do is open their rope coarse earlier because I got there at 1 stayed 2 hrs and didn't even get to go on it same with the story rooms. I took my two nieces here for the first time this evening as a summer break activity. The Monday Madness was a pretty good deal as they were able to play unlimited video games for only $10.95. I am not too interested in gaming so I cannot really comment how up to date the selection of games were. But the girls really enjoyed them. Now for the food. I had the California Chicken sandwich. On the menu it called for sun dried tomatoes and pesto mayo. I asked to have fresh tomatoes and regular mayo instead and this is when the train went off the tracks. The waiter had to come back three times to clarify what l actually wanted. When the food finally came to the table, after an unusually long wait, they got the mayo and tomatoes correct, but forgot the avocado that was also supposed to be on there. Once half through the sandwich, I received my avocado on the side. Also, I paid extra to get a garden salad instead of fries. The salad was on the plate with my sandwich, which should not be a big deal, however the plate was almost too hot to touch so my green salad was sitting there cooking on it. This also tells me that the long wait for our food was the result of that food sitting in the window for way too long. The kids meals were OK and seemed priced right for the portion, but buy drinks for the kids in the pizza area before sitting in the main eating area. You will have to get your own refills, but they will have a foam cup with a lid and straw instead of a heavy bar glass. I might go back, but will certainly eat elsewhere before going. read more

Went here for our first event as a season ticket holder for the Arizona Coyotes. Had a blast!!! The games were fun and there's definitely a huge selection. Bowling was eh, I'm not a huge fan anyways. No way this is the service here. Spent well over 150 dollars in my visit. I'm bowling in lane 17 and the pins are getting picked up after I bowl and they fall down and just lay there. Then I go ask to get switched and the employee told me "it's just the pins you hit over last round." Yeah like I never fucking bowled a day in my life... not only that I spend 25 credits on ur stupid Star Wars game and it says critical error. Omg!! Main event is the best! My son tuned 6 and all of a sudden knew how to kick my behind in laser tag! We went on a slow Wednesday afternoon but the service was still great! The coolest part? The adults had fun too! We played the $10 unlimited games for an hour so my son played ghostbusters 20 times, the roller is at er simulation 10 times and then the card ran out. The place itself is fun. Loads of new games, a few pool tables, bowling lanes, and bar. Management, however, is completely incompetent. If you're coming with a party be prepared to have technical and monetary issues. We spent over an hour trying to rectify checks and services issues. We didn't receive our wristbands upon check-in and weren't aware we were missing them until looking over the contract at then end of the night. Ashton, who is apparently the manager, did nothing to rectify the issue. He didn't acknowledge the lapse in adhering in policies and procedures and failed to offer any solutions. Instead, he lost his cool, yelled at patrons, and refused to help. I've worked in customer service, and I understand this isn't how you operate under pressure. In the future fix your on-boarding system, ensure procedures are adhered to, and offer solutions. Do better. Also, maybe hire someone who can handle pressure and has even an iota of customer service experience. read more

Great place to bring your kids. It can be expensive, so be sure to get an all day pass. Main Event is similar to Dave & Busters, but substantially better. It offers bowling, laser tag, arcade area, billiards, obstacle course, restaurant and bar area. The bowling is excellent, very well lit, offers automatic gutter barriers for kids, table service for food/drinks, and more. The arcade area features two very large classic arcade games, has to be at least 10 feet high, for PacMan/Galaga and Space Invaders. Laser tag and obstacle course also very well done. The restaurant and bar area also works well for adults waiting for their kids to run out of energy, or money. Overall a great place for family entertainment. read more

Where do I start.. We came here tonight with a group of 10 ppl. After checking in for two lane reservations, we were told it would be 1 hr to 1.5 hrs.. as I write this we are at the 2 hr mark. That alone wouldn't be a problem given a Saturday night.. The fun started when we went to get a table to eat dinner while waiting for our lane. We were greeted at the host stand after a few mins (apparently no host on duty) by a gentlemen who looked like the manager or gm etc. He was polite and checked on table and came back and said a bday party was clearing out and it would be 10mins. We watched as a family of 5 walked in the entrance and proceeded over to the large table( seats 10-20) and we watched as the waiter just proceeded to serve them.. after again getting up and standing up at the host stand the same manager came over and said it appeared out table was stolen, but offered us a large table immediately in the "party area".. ok not the end of the world.. We sat, the first waitress came up after 5 mins and asked what the deal was, we had to ask for menus. She left, another waitress came back with 3 menus(for our group of 10) and then left again only to come back with out more menus to ask us if it would be a split check. I asked for more menus and she came with approx 20. Then back again to clarify if it was a split check. From there proceeded to take our drink order and try and get our food order when we had our menus for 30 seconds. Then after our drinks took 15 mins, smoothies came with our straws, beers were spilt on someone in our party, and no waters were offered or brought. Our food showed up in separate groups, then with the last group, my dish of boneless wings was dropped on the floor!!!!!!!!! At this point I'm thinking we are on a prank tv show to see how far we can be pushed!!! Every one has to ask for cutlery and napkins! Went to ME this past Saturday, September 28, 2024. It was very crowded. We came with a group of about 12 people. One member of our group reserved 2 bowling lanes. We were told to go to the end of the line to get our bowling shoes. We waited for a good 15 minutes, as there was only one person working the desk. We all got our shoes and headed over. Not one time during our entire time there did ANYONE come over to take our order. Several of us asked staff to please send someone over. Nobody came. We had to go to the under staffed bar and wait/miss our turn because we had to do their job. Half way through our game, the lanes ended abruptly. Apparently, the time hour for the lane started when we paid for it, not when we started the game. So we are forced to pay for another hour. I talked to the manager working that night, and he basically said he really didn't care. I told him about the lack of service and he just shrugged his shoulder. We don't go out often because everything is so expensive, so when we do go out, we expect a level of service that is great. Will never go here again. read more

We did have an incident where a lane was not operable and the attendant failed to block off the lanes properly while it was being fixed. As a result, someone in our group bowled in the lane next to it without knowing that she wasn't supposed to and the attendant was very rude to her and made a very nice, sweet-hearted, young woman cry - that's a no-go. Went here for a friends birthday party, it was a first for all of us, but overall this place was horrible. Our first activity was bowling and to summarize it, it was pretty fun up until we had to move on to laser tag. For some reason, friendly fire is on which means you can just shoot your own teammates and get points. It also didn't help that the laser guns sometimes just didn't bother shooting, which meant half the time, all of us were just looking at each other and waiting until they fired. Lastly was the arcade, this arcade was so poorly managed and awful that I went home early out of anger. It was 15$ for 75 credits, which was basically 7-8 games. Most of the games didn't work and took my credits (this mostly was for the claw machine games and a few other games too). For the other arcade games, they just didn't dispense tickets which meant I spent credits and didn't win anything. Overall, just go to cracker jax, that place is way better and actually gives a shit about your experience. And as a final kick in the nuts, my friend left the gift I got him for his birthday at the bowling alley (20$ steam gift card with a silly birthday card that had inside jokes written in different languages) EDIT: They returned the card I gave him, but not the gift card, which was in the card, which means someone who was at the bowling alley took it from the card or was snatched by an employee. read more

We all highly understanding about her training, the fact it is a Friday night and it is the summer cool. The group starts arriving at 8:30pm. After sitting for half an hour we are asked if we'd like to order drinks. Another 30mins go by and we have to hunt them down to order food. The entire table order was taken instead of mine. Cool. They are busy, it is loud, got it. Water is given to folks at the table. I flag Drew down to put in an order and he quickly scurried away. Okay that was the 2nd time. 3rd time a friend flags down Drew and explains I wanted to put in an order. I express to him get I've tried twice already and was either ignored or overlooked. That's when it gets interesting. . Drew decides to get an attitude. "Okay. So. What do you want?" I say "Excuse me" His face draws in , brows lower and tone gets more irritated. "What do you want to order?" Not that attitude Drew. No thanks. Requested a manager. She came within 5 minutes and pulled him to the side. The manager seemed to be understanding and asked if I wanted to place an order. At that point I am over this place. In the 70's there was an illegal sales tactic called "BAIT AND SWITCH", a company would advertise a killer deal on a product, and when you get to the store to buy it, they are suddenly out of stock, but have something "better" at a much higher price. This particular Main Event is trying to bring back the good ol' days with their ALL DAY PASS. We went there and bought 5 bracelets to bowl. Each hour you have to go to the desk and tell them to extend your time. As well, they only give you 2 hours, a little fact they don't mention when buying your bracelet. My son went to the desk after the second hour only to be told we ran out of time. Highly embarassing for an impressionable teenager. When I asked why we were out of time when I purchased the ALL DAY pass, I was told that there could be a waiting list, so he had to get permission to give me my third hour. We finished our last game and I spoke to the manager, Mike, and he immediately offered me a refund. Now, at this point, most of my family has left. This is our favorite time pass place. Whenever we are in a mood for some arcade games we go there and play for couple of hours. We like to play down clown a lot followed by basketball and match the color. They also have other games like laser tag, bowling, pool and shuffle board. You play better you earn tickets and then you can pick gifts from the shop based on tickets value. They had some offer yesterday one entree and $30 game You pay $32ish which was a good deal. We ordered wings for appetizer and flavor was lemon pepper. It was okay could have been better. But we did ask for mango habenaro and soy garlic sauce which added some flavors. It's a good place to come in groups and have some fun. They have enough parking spots and it's closer to i10 if someone needs that info too. read more
